Losing and winning are common things in gambling, some even think that these two things are a cycle. Doing revenge gambling can be one way to get back the previous bankroll that has been lost, this just happened to me last night, I lost $250 in my gambling section, then I made another deposit twice as big as before, and it ended up with $1,000+ in my bankroll. Many people think this is a bad habit, not having management in gambling, but if I didn't do that, maybe I would have lost last night.

I have a few questions for you guys regarding revenge gambling:
➥ Have you ever done revenge gambling?
➥ What is your biggest win/loss from revenge gambling?
➥ What do you think about revenge gambling in general?

Revenge in gambling is not recommended at all, because in the end you will also be disappointed with the results because the results you will get will be worse and destroy your own life. Therefore, it is highly recommended to gamble with money that is ready to lose so that if we experience defeat then we will not have a revenge plan like that. Because of course, when we make a bet with money that is required to win, then when we lose of course every player will do or try to take back what has been lost with revenge like that.

At least, I also often experience things like this and at that time, what was really bad was when I had savings from the severance pay where I worked. Until I used it for gambling which was targeted to get as much profit as possible, but in the end it only made me worse because I lost all the savings I had.

Will never be advisable in my opinion. Keep in mind that we don't and we won't have any assurance of the outcome. Therefore, no matter how eager we become, if you're unlucky then loss is the only thing to anticipate as the outcome. We do understand that in most instances we get frustrated of loss simply because of our expectations of winning in the first place. Anything that will go in contrast of what we expect will surely hurt us emotionally. Revenge in gambling is not something which is in our hands. It would be much better to just accept losses and move on. If profit is yours, then it will just happen; same goes the other way around.
I don't think revenge in gambling is a good idea for any gambler because that can likely lead to many losses in gambling. In fact, someone chasing their losses in gambling can become addicted. When someone is addicted, that's it  that is where all his or her earnings will go, chasing some big win. What you have done, and the fact that you were able to recover your losses, is just pure luck. Out of 100%, maybe only 2% of gamblers might have this kind of result. I have seen someone before who, just because they wanted to recover their losses, ended up in debt and later struggled to pay it back.Let's just accept that gambling is all about luck, and it’s not a good idea for someone to force themselves to get lucky. If luck is meant to come, it will, but it may not happen at the time you want it. So, let us gamble with a light heart, or else, someone could get addicted easily.
The idea is simply instances that some people made a comeback of what they have lost in gambling. However, nothing guarantees that we'd have the same fate. But that's definitely true which is to have a light heart; whatever the outcome is, acceptance will let go of the urge to revenge. You are not going against the platform but simply your luck.

1. Have done revenge gambling? Pretty sure that majority of us did really experience out on the same thing or this is inevitable specially when we are in our noob days.
2. Cant remember specifically in regarding about numbers but much sure that i have win up something on having this kind of emotion.
3. Revenge gambling could really that put you up on potential trouble. If you arent that good on handling your emotion then you are really that putting yourself at great trouble.

This is why on the moment or time that you do deal up with gambling then expect that loses would really be just that next in the line. Dont make yourself that being delusional speially
that you are assuming that you could be able to win up on the time that you do gamble and didnt expect those huge loses then this what makes someone do really become
that impulsive on which it do really ends up on such huge problem.

➥ Have you ever done revenge gambling?
Yes, and just like it has favored you. I did favor e during my time. Yet I dont think it is a good approach because it might not favor everyone. Indirectly we are chasing loss and there are consequences when we are too desperate.

➥ What is your biggest win/loss from revenge gambling?
Funny enough when I did that and won, it was a massive win. Because I got 10 times what I deposited. It was in a crash aviator game. I had to leave it for a long time and it did 24x.

➥ What do you think about revenge gambling in general?
In general it's not right and one may use based on revenge and make decisions that they are not supposed to make. It is luck for gamblers to win in revenge gambling because as we want the win so badly we tend to take higher risk.

So many people won't agree that such acts is simply referred to as chasing loss but if you agree with me this acts of yours it's a typical example of that meanwhile you won't regard it as that based on the fact that you had such huge win after all to cover up the losses, so then to answer the simple questions of yours I'll like to say; have never done revenge gambling in your terms buddy cause it's the gateway to addiction if you don't know, and about the win/ loss, have had countless losses as well as wins but I don't chase after them.Currently what I think about revenge gambling "Chasing of Losses" is not ideal and inappropriate for a gambler or anyone in general to carry on with, the end it's usually ruthless, such that due to chasing over ones loss it has amounted to different category of disappointment and violence.

In this case you were lucky, but what if you had lost again? Let's imagine that you lost $250, you deposit $500 and play, but you lose everything again. Then you will have lost a total of $750. And if you chase your losses, you would have to deposit $750 or more and risk losing again. The problem of chasing losses is very serious and leads people to ruin.

➥ Have you ever done revenge gambling?

I definitely don't chase losses. I think it's a very dangerous path, one that I won't follow.

➥ What is your biggest win/loss from revenge gambling?

Since I don't chase losses, I don't have any big gains or losses coming from chasing losses.

➥ What do you think about revenge gambling in general?

In my opinion this is the worst mistake that people should not make. People should stay away from chasing losses. People who become addicted to gambling, and it is because they chase losses.

see this article:

A clinician at Birches Health has stated that chasing losses is the most frequent betting behavior he’s seen among individuals with gambling disorder.

I tried during older days of my teenage life and nothing went good as I've observed, everything got worst and I never recovered that loss I had. There's no such big or small loss, I always considered those experiences I had with gambling as break even towards my finances. Thinking about gambling, generally its always a huge frustrations in life having reverse mindset that wouldn't be fulfilled even though you've having more efforts towards it.

or you would have lost your $500 and now you are down $750. I'm glad that you ended up winning but what you did is a bad habit, if you do that often enough you'd most likely be on a negative profit, what you are doing is basically chasing your losses and it almost does not end well for the gambler when they do that, I hope you do not make this a habit of yours.

To be honest I will like to know about the examples where the gambler who are chasing the losses have actually succeeded in their mission and able to convert the losses to wins ?

I know by searching it on the Google I may found some stories but actually we need to know it from the people who are gambling here and get the first hand knowledge of the percentage of the people who get succeeded if they do the revenge gambling. I am sure the result will be very less of those people who are satisfied after revenge gambling. And most of the gamblers would have lost even more money and they learn over the time to accept the losses and never chase them.

Because it works for you the first time does not mean that it will continue working like that in the future, and I won't even advise you to give people such advice to be chasing their losses because it's one of the best ways to lose more money to gambling; you might try it next time and lose even more than the amount you were trying to recover, and the more money you lose, the harder it will get for you to recover that lost money.

As a gambler you must learn how to discipline yourself and master your emotions otherwise you might tend to make a lot wrong choices when it comes to gambling. Some people think you only need to control yourself when you are losing, winning also comes with a lot of a dopamine rush, when you win the more you would want to keep trying, this might lead to losses. Revenge gambling can wreck you easily, always learn to accept your losses and stop chasing them. Gambling more to gain back what you lost doesn't really make sense if you think about it critically.

New fancy term “Revenge” gambling. I mean, you can say it as just a normal deposit made to recover the losses. I mean, we all do it. Whenever I make some losses and have some targets to achieve, I deposit more to recover the losses and then gamble till the target is achieved. Yes, whether it is right or wrong, I am just giving my perspective. Whenever I lose big, I give a mini break from gambling. I don’t hurry to recover the losses. As you have mentioned, OP, that you instantly deposited double and gambled, it might harm the overall bankroll. You were just lucky, I would say, and didn’t make further losses. Gamble wisely by taking all the calculative risk. Don’t go for this instant revenge at casinos. Don’t forget the casino always wins.

I have a few questions for you guys regarding revenge gambling:

➥ What do you think about revenge gambling in general?

I have never gone through revenge gambling, no.
Actually, I have seen a couple of stories about successful revenge gambling here in the forum, people who lost all their gambling budget and decided to double down, and getting away with much more then they deposited, but it is something I would not do or recommend anyone to do, at all.
Revenge gambling is just an alternative term for chasing one's losses, and chasing one's losses only lead to more losses, in the most of the cases.
It is healthier just to bite the bullet and face the consequences of having bad luck, log out and move on with the rest of one's day.

Also, keep in mind in many occasions people who do revenge gambling use money they did not intend to gamble in the first place, that is how economical issues begin.

Revenge gambling is literally not entirely bad or neither the best approach to gambling, as it involves taking of high risk, of which you are likely to go financially bankrupt if you loses everything or financially stable if you are luck to hit a jackpot. Hence, judging from O.P's scenario, then it's obvious, his might have been a result of luck after multiple trial, which is not new, as every serious gambler might have experience such situation while trying to recover previous loses. Hence, inasmuch as O.P might have gotten lucky at his second deposit, it's not a guarantee you will always get lucky at your second deposit. Gamble responsibly, and take a risk you can always afford to lose, just as O.P was able to afford to lose his second deposit.

However, I have tried revenge gambling, and it is nded both in a mixture of loses and winning via using the minimum betting amount

➥ Have you ever done revenge gambling?
Yes, I have. And the pain and regret came afterwards. It ruined my day.

➥ What is your biggest win/loss from revenge gambling?
It was a small bet and what was left for the winnings to reach the minimum withdrawalable amount was just about $2. I didn't deposit another money but continued playing with the one I had already won hoping that I'll hit $2 or more dollars to withdraw. I was dead wrong. In less that two minutes, my winnings had gone down to less than $8.

Just like chasing defeat... and for me this is the wrong way, maybe you are lucky this time who initially lost $250 and then deposited again after that was able to multiply by $1000+ it can be said that you were lucky last night because you were able to win, try to imagine how many people chasing defeat ended up losing it all.

But I congratulate my friend with the victory of $1000 + it can support life for more than 2 months. Cheesy

➥ Have you ever done revenge gambling?
Gambling revenge? That was once... But never in large amounts but only $20.
The first $20 deposit lost... and another $20 deposit lost again...

➥ What is your biggest win/loss from revenge gambling?
Never... All I remember is that there was no good return.

➥ What do you think about revenge gambling in general?
For me this is the wrong way of revenge in gambling... It's a bad thing to keep doing.

This is chasing your losses and you must never employ this strategy at anytime, The right way and mindset is to forget what happened after you logged out or got out from the gambling platform, Thinking of recovering your losses is very risky because it will throw off your game because you are pressure to win the game and when you are trying to win in a game, you will eventually lose.
I always feel that I have a good chance of winning if my mind is relaxed and very receptive and accepting of whatever happens, it better this way because there's no pressure that will result in a disappointing loss.

1. I'm sure I have done it long time ago when I was still newbie in the gambling industry, I used to have a mindset that I have to take back what I have lost before.
I'm sure most gamblers do the same thing especially newbie because they want to recover what they've lost.
2. Cant really remember because it was long time ago and since I consider it as a mistake so I do not do it anymore.
3. First of all I will not call it as revenge, but it is kind of effort to recover or chasing what we have lost before.
Trying to recover what we have lost before is natural but it can be something dangerous which will make us into bigger loss especially if we do not set limit.
I would recommend to forget what we have lost (although it is hard) then always start a new gambling session like we have never gambled before.

You were lucky yesterday. You may not be lucky next time. So it is better you do not do that again. If you lose the second time, you may think of increasing the money. It somehow looks like martingale strategy and it is very risky like martingale strategy.

➥ 20% or less win. 80% or more losses.
➥ Revenge gambling is very bad for gamblers. It means the person is looking for means to earn money from gambling which is very bad.
