In Core 0.18 this was moved to the Window menu. So Window > Information.
Check that the value next to "Current number of blocks" is greater than 579853.
I could run Core 0.18. But are there compatibility issues with some core versions paired with Armory versions?
Yes but Core 0.18 and Armory 0.96.5 do play nice together, thankfully. Core 0.17.1 would be fine too if you wanted to avoid the latest release still.I can't compare with this Laptop to my old desktop. But my old laptop required older versions of both in order
for me to use my wallet on that machine.
There definitely have been some compatibility issues in the past and probably more if you were on a really old version (such as Armory 0.93)for me to use my wallet on that machine.
I'll go ahead and try load the 0.18 and see what happens.
