does not look like in 2013 and where the price of bitcoin go to the moon, litecoin prices also went to the moon, it's just different this year, the price of litecoin almost collapsed this year along with other old altcoin see the price fall was not as I expected

Litecoin will be shit coin and no one wants to buy and hold it for long time. I feel disappointed with this LTC. There were not any waves in the past 2 years . The other altcoins had got many waves in this year but LTC hadn't.

It seems like staff and developers behind litecoin, all of them hang on this coin. This coin was crashed many times, also at the end of 2016 this crash was slowed by promise of fast segwit activation but they weren't able to attract new investors in litecoin. This coin is 5th in market cap but that doesn't make any sense with the situation we see now. Despite many facts, every website which accept altcoin payments, first is litecoin here and people behind litecoin are simply wasting such a good situation. They can to rise this coin but it's like dead.

I don't see it declining further, but I think that the price is recovering slowly and is sure to get its fate back shining in the next few days, after bitcoin gets settled down and I see it very soon, not more than a week after this crazipulation gets ended.

In my view litecoin will be extinct by itself, because since yesterday until today the price is getting low and declining, I think there is the possibility of the developer to go for no apparent reason, so that large investors dump all litecoin and so prices are lower than the previous year. Cool

Lol, novacoin and peercoin even namecoin pumped earlier today.

This means litecoin is now inferior to those shitcoins, lol!

The turn for the pump might be for the litecoin soon.

the altcoin scene is massively different compared to 2013. more coins, more big players, more pumps, more scum. bitcoin itself is not behaving the way it did back then either. anyone betting on any coin because of past performance is nuts.

Well to be honest... Litecoin has no reason to exist.
It's a bit like dogecoin but even less funny.
Who in his right mind would buy litecoin for anything? xD
And investing in an ICO which can turn to a scam, is better solution than LTC, which is neither premin neither ICO. Who is crazy here?  Many reasons to exist and you are not daily trader so you don't have clue how you can use it for earnings.

I remember when LTC was 50$... I regret that I didn't sell then but few months later when it was 20$. Now I'm happy with the decision at 20. Although I still have some ltc I'm sure that ltc has no place in the market anymore.

you remember when they were saying that litecoin was officially dead, but then the halving arrived and they pumped to 0.01, now there is no halving but the price is the same, bitcoin is just dumped by miners, investors are holding until next increase, i'm confident
I agree with this. I've seen posts years ago about litecoin being dead. And yet look at casinos nowadays. Sometimes they have their own official coins but the famous altcoins are litecoin, dogecoin and monero. I think it means that none of these is dead and furthermore they are likely to grow in price. By the way, I've been thinking that the most famous casinos can actually influence alts' price in a great way, since if they offer some coins in their casinos, the interest (and thus the price) grows.

Then thats a good news. We can buy cheaper litecoins. Litecoin still a good altcoin. I've been watching this altcoin for a long time. And im gonna say that this altcoin is worth to buy and keep for a long time. Unlike any new altcoins in the market. Litecoin is trusted and tested for many years. Price drop is really normal. Litecoin is strong. It will pump again soon.

@bitcoinlitcoinbtcltc
LTC is still here after all this years, price is pegged to dollar it seems so stop talking negative about LTC evidence are clear, ltc is less volatile than other coins including BTC. And once you were big supporter your bitcoin talk name is best proof.

As what I heard Litecoin is very popular in Asia. Is it in China? If it is then expect a big effect come March 11.
Why March 11 ?

Yeah Im looking for any news mentioning March 11th but haven't found anything.

A lot of alt-coins are looking stale right now, actually Litecoin isn't doing too terrible in comparison.
Still need something to breathe life into this project, though.

I think he is talking about the decission about bitcoin ETF.  Wink No matter if it will be approved or declined, it will affect price of almost all altcoins, that's for sure.
Litecoin used to be quite tightly connected with bitcoin price, so maybe we will see some more major change after this date. Smiley
