You can buy ripple through easier ways. Ripple is at ath now why do you want to buy ripple? it is interesting. You should buy coins which are unknown and have potential to be known by a lot of people in the future.

I wouldn't buy ripple at all now. Maybe wait for it to go back to a dollar or even under a dollar or something. There will be big dips.

There is a lot of platforms for sharing now, but I use Coinbase. Yes, there are bit fees, but I love her for not deceiving me. so for my peace of mind I have to pay.

Hope you're crazy to buy Ripple due to it's market cap and the growth (Price). I would suggest you to split your investments and buy some altcoins with Ripple. You cannot depend on Ripple alone for profit/growth. Try Cardano and Stellar as well which is less than $1 and they are top performers. Split like Ripple 50%, Cardano 25% and Stellar 25%.

I will be buying other coins as well. Just looking for some Ripple first.

You have to if you want to get your dollars back some day.

Coinbase is a very good platform but the fees are way tooooo high. GDAX and coinbase belongs to the same company. GDAX charges very very little fees compared to coinbase. It takes several days to get your coin from coinbase.

Some other way is to buy pandacoin (PND) by paypal, exchange it on yobit.net to ETH or BTC, or LTC, etc. then exchange your coins on yout favorite exchange platforms.

1. PND takes around 24 hours.
2. you have to do some research on the exchange platform: coins? fees? exchange pairs?
3. you can exchange your PND on yobit, but which coins to exchange, ETH or BTH or LTC or something else? you'd better choose a most likely going up coin. You do not want to buy some coin and the price down, down and down. Even though you only need the coin as an exchanger.

Be careful and careful and careful to invest with your own mondy.

Bitcoin is not a good coin as an exchanger. The fees for bitcoin are very high and the price goes up and down and up and down.

https://yobit.net/en/freecoins/

As a newbie, you might try to register at yobit.net. You can get some free coins as a starter. You can get around $10 coins per day. You can get wallet address for your coins until you make your final decisions about which coins are your favorite ones.

Again, do some research before you dive in.

Thanks for the information. Off course I will be sending in my ID and such once I get more into the currency. I will check out that site you mentioned.

There are many sites in the market to buy any altcoins but investing on ripple kind of putting all your money in shit because they are none other than a banks. Wait for sometime you will get to know how they handle the value like share market movement as they wish.
Still you are looking to buy it exchange the cash via LBC site and use the bitcoin in trading site to buy. Check here you may find the altcoin trader who have selling the alts for fiat as well.

They are banks is one of the reasons I picked to purchase a small amount of this coin.

this now ripple price is very high
i think need corecetion price if you want buy

I wouldn't recommend you to buy off someone online! It's more secure for both sides to go through exchanges! I guess CEX got a limit to buy without providing your ID, probably worth a shot

Agree!

I am New to crypto and been trying to buy some ripple as a start. I used Toast as my wallet. I am looking for up to 200 ripple coins and I can pay via paypal.

Or if anyone knows of a site where I can buy ripple without having to give a bunch of personal details please link it to me in this thread. The only ones I found ebay ect. have a 50 % + mark up from the current value.

Thanks,

You could do it like this:

*1) Buy Bitcoin in Localbitcoin, if you want maximun privacy, you have to avoid the banking system completely, so the only way would be to meet with someone in real life and buy the Bitcoin with cash

2) Once you have the Bitcoin, you can use any exchange with a BTC/RPL pair and buy the RPL. You could use Poloniex which last time I checked doesn't require any personal details for withdraws smaller than $2000 a day with no limit on deposits.

3) Done, you have obtained RPL anonymously.

*You could use LocalLitecoin or any other way to obtain BTC or an altcoin without having to use a bank.
