Since you know how the word Investing does then you should know that there is a chance that your investment will fail. It will depend in your judgement on how you see coins/tokens/icos before investing. Always risk what you can afford only.

In the world of cryptocurrency, investment is a very risky thing. Risky in the sense that once you invest in a certain project, there are no guarantee that you can take your money back because you might have invested in a scam project. One scenario is even if the project you have invested in is a legitimate one but the token's value once it hit the exchange is way below ICO price and can't recover even until some time, you probably lose some money.

You should never forget that, these currencies have really volatile prices, that means, the prices are changing fastly between very high and low values. So, I can clearly say that, investing in crypto might sometimes be really risky.

As a newbie for trading you need to follow the top crypto expert analyst on twitter and follow their signals.
This is what i did when i just entered trading crypto world.
And the result is not bad, sometimes they true about their prediction but sometimes also not going well, but you can learn how they analysis the charts.

The risk point would really be the main which is VOLATILITY! This is the thing which will really burn up your entire balance or funds if you are careless enough on doing trading or investing into a particular coin.After the volatility then we go to Scamming and frauds where there are lots of too good to be true investment into this market which you should really be careful if you dont like to be victimized.

my point would be:
1. volatility of cryptocurrency, some people can make the price of some coin rise and even can make other coin price going down or undervalued.
2. many scammer, you have to trust nobody if you want investing on cryptocurrency. scammers are every where and they will use every single chance they have to steal. i would prefer for doing your own research on which coins you want to invest.
3. need for long term investment to even double your profit
