Yes I think they can and they already are. DAG tech is going to smash IOTA's tangle/centralized architecture. Iot chain has a lot of promise based on the tech, team, and partnerships imo.

I prefer Nano to IOTA, it is a rival but seems to have a lot more going on right now, IOTA seem to be extremely quiet I haven't heard much happening recently.

itc is the better option imo. Lots of dev going into it and important meetings lately with bosch and hashed

Guys, I cannot understand why some of you underestimate so much IOTa. IOTA is a great project with great idea. Yes, they are little slow (probably this is their main weak spot), but if they bring this project till the end, this could be the game changer in the crypto world.
Also, I cannot see any real rival to IOTA at this point...

IOTA is a joke. That's why I like ITC way better. When you really look into it, you will find all of the answers to your questions. We can't deny that the IoT industry is huge. I believe ITC will be the leader in security of IoT

THIS^ when I looked into ITC, it looks like they solve those problems like centralized architecture and security which is great in my books. thanks for sharing. looks like ITC is the best option

itc has a huge chance in beating iota in terms of supply and tech. looks like itc's tech is a hybrid of DAG+PBFT, making scale easier. already own some but I would buy more if I could
