It's a good thing when politically influential people speak for bitcoin and support its growth. Even though I am not sure about the authenticity of the document but if it's true, it's great to see. But unfortunately, Biden administration has waged a war against cryptos in US. So probably it's time for the crypto companies to move out to a crypto-friendly country.

I don't care about politicians, artists, or famous people who hold Bitcoin because they must have their own goals, just like we hold it.

If he becomes a supporter of Bitcoin, that is a good thing. But will he remain a Bitcoin supporter after achieving his goal? That's what we don't know. We also don't know how long he has been a Bitcoin holder because he never told us about it.

Maybe what can become a public concern is when someone famous and with a lot of money buys Bitcoin in large quantities and declares that he fully supports Bitcoin. Or someone who raised the price of Bitcoin by surprise. That's what will amaze people.

but if he has a few BTC in his possession it is really not an important thing. Will it be news if we find out for a while that he sold BTC?
I totally agree.
Ten years ago this would have been a major news and will help put Bitcoin in the mainstream media, but fast forward to today it's just another lucky person who was able to get some bitcoins and possibly still hold them.

I will be willing to place a bet that if the personalities of all Bitcoin holders were public there would be a lot of eyebrow raising names on the list.

This is what I was going to post or something similar.

What this news shows is that the "rich and famous" definitely and generally are
invested in Bitcoin to some extent. If the investment is on a private level they dont have
to make it public.

I definitely think if we knew just who and how many of the rich and famous own Bitcoin
it would be an eye-opener of sorts.

Realistically when anyone gets over the "volatility" issue and familiarises themselves
with how Bitcoin works and what it offers the volatility becomes irrelevant.

That fraction amount of Bitcoin held by Jr.  Kennedy may be just for payment for subscription and fees because, for a man of his public status,  $100k-$250kBTC is not that big a deal to say he should be referred as a Bitcoin holder since he has enough money to hold more Bitcoin that he currently holds if he truly believes in the technology.

His recent public statement about bitcoin may be as a result of his conviction about bitcoin against what other Democrats will see as a threat to the financial system due to their selfish interest as against the freedom Bitcoin offers.

In a recent news, financial records of Robert F Kennedy Jr shows that he is a bitcoin holder, and reported to have own between  $100k and $250k worth.

And that's why recently you will hear him to be a bitcoin supporter and attacking Biden and his cohorts for being anti-bitcoin or anti-crypto.

Maybe that's his own strategy to raise a counter move as against his opponents along the race just to get the attention of bitcoiners in the US because his display on this makes nothing than the only influence he has over his presidential ambition which is limited to US, maybe his opponents also will try to devise more means to raise a tackling campaign or awareness against him as well for them to have upper hands, so by now we should know that this makes no difference than using bitcoin to campaign in other for them to have higher chances of winning, at last if he wins, the house will also have to deliberate on weather to accept bitcoin or kick against it adoption as a legal tender, politicians can use any means to attract what they want.

I'm not surprised to see politicians secretly hoarding bitcoin. They are all aware of the benefits of bitcoin, but because they are unable to use its regulation to their advantage, they will continue to hinder its adoption and drive many more individuals who are unaware of bitcoin away from it.

Even today, renowned government employees who work in banking sectors have bitcoin holdings but will not declare them to the public due to the consequences; they spread news but do not follow the news.

It’s just a two way choice for people, they can either join bitcoin secretly and be financially responsible for their holdings, or they can blindly accept the government's advice not to hold/save money in bitcoin, which the governments themselves do.

The news about Bitcoin holding seems to check out, but it's between $100k and $250k, and his net worth is $50 million, which means that it's, like, less than 1% of what this guy has. I wouldn't even call it significant Bitcoin support because less than 1% looks more like a small experiment than anything serious. Perhaps that can also explain why he denied owning BTC.
And, honestly, he is known to be a big promoter of conspiracy theories and an opponent of my country in very difficult times, so I don't think it's good publicity for Bitcoin.

Bitcoin has some negative critics so I don't think the fact that he dodges crypto questions and his holdings of BTC is off at all, probably just a political strategy but I could be speculating. He is probably just exercising his right to privacy, but obviously that doesn't really work when people can access or obtain these types of records to share with the public lol. Now he just looks like a liar, right? So lying at the expense of what? Maybe he has a past with some nefarious characters and there is some kind of juicy story here to this 250k that will uncover in another 5 or ten years haha.

Biden is extremely unpopular even within his party, so it's a perfect time for a challenger like Kennedy. It'll be extremely difficult for him to win the nomination due to the mainstream media and the pro-establishment Democrats doing everything possible to discredit him.

Considering that RFK Jr. is a Catholic who also practices his religion without hiding it, I have no doubt that it will be very difficult for him to get the kind of support that Biden, who is also a Catholic, got before him. In addition, if I'm not mistaken, before Biden, only one US president was of the Roman Catholic faith, and that was JFK, who bothered them so much that they ended up liquidating him.

If it is true that the Democrats have so far only three candidates, somehow it does not seem to me that Biden has a chance for a second term, and frankly, I have never even heard of Marianne Williamson. However, no matter who the next US president is, it somehow does not seem to me that we can expect any big changes when it comes to Bitcoin - because politicians change, but politics is more or less the same.

I believe almost all famous and rich people hold some amount of bitcoin.
They never accept it in public but they do hold it.
Few of them have courage to come in public and more fewer have heart to support it.
Sooner or later, we will see more names come up with bitcoin holding.

Which brings up the question, "Did he become a Bitcoin supporter because he understood the technology and how it could weaken political strongholds, OR, did he simply become a supporter because he's holding Bitcoin"? I want to believe he is one of us, but him being a politician with an agenda, it's hard not to be a cynic. Cool

I would probably believe Robert Kennedy if he was deeply tied financially with Bitcoin like Chad Saylor. Haha.

Its hardly unexpected that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. owns Bitcoin. Since this disclosure, his Bitcoin and cryptocurrency outspokenness has increased. Is his support for Bitcoin based on his financial interests or does he truly believe in decentralized finance?

Its reasonable to say Kennedy is protecting his vested interests. Though harsh, his criticism of Biden's administration is valid. The government's cautious stance to crypto is justified. Cryptocurrencies are volatile and misused.

However, Kennedy's support for Bitcoin could sway public opinion. Im worried but optimistic. His participation may spark discussions about bitcoin legislation and its financial effects.

RFK Jr. is one of the few politicians who truly understands what Bitcoin is about. He has always made positive remarks about Bitcoin, which is refreshing to hear coming from a member of the Democrat party that has oftentimes been outright hostile towards Bitcoin. Elizabeth Warren is perhaps the most famous anti-Bitcoin politician. She loves using the "Bitcoin is only used by criminals" cliche. Kennedy on the other hand has promised to protect bitcoiners' rights to hold and use BTC.

Biden is extremely unpopular even within his party, so it's a perfect time for a challenger like Kennedy. It'll be extremely difficult for him to win the nomination due to the mainstream media and the pro-establishment Democrats doing everything possible to discredit him.

BIT-BENDER holds Bitcoin, how does this sound well ordinary, nothing special right, yes that's how Mr Kennedy owning a Bitcoin is meant to sound, I don't care if he has a first name that's recognized, I don't care if in his case he is known and I am not the fact is that we should start seeing people owning Bitcoin as something not so special, that's how Bitcoin adoption can grow.

He is one of the few politicians that I could vote for if I were a US citizen, imagine someone like him getting elected in 2024 I am very sure that it will be bullish for Bitcoin and crypto, and some useless laws on crypto will be canceled for the next few years that he will be the president, I hope the election works in favor of crypto because I still believe that the U.S as a country have a big role to play in crypto adoption.

He supports Bitcoin because he is a Bitcoin holder but not only this, he has more reasons to support Bitcoin to maximize his political career. He knows many US citizens are Bitcoin investors, enthusiasts and they don't like what SEC and Gary have been doing recent months. They want some congress members or a president who support Bitcoin and make the nation more Bitcoin and cryptocurrency friendly.

By publicly announcing he strongly support Bitcoin, he hopes to get more supports, more votes for his Presidential propaganda and even hopes to become a next President of USA.

Thats a marketing approach I guess. Why if the name of someone holding bitcoin is somehow famous everyone makes a big deal of it? Obviously its about the hype or marketing. Theres a lot of users whose unknown identity can have more bitcoin than him.

This is very debatable. Yes — he'll be getting the attention of prominent bitcoiners and crypto peeps in general, but in exchange of disfavor for those in the bitcoin-is-a-scam demographic. The latter is a pretty big demographic as well.

No wonder some popular people hiding their asset due to something like thisz that it will be talk of the town.

If these people wanted a huge pump they alreaady make some effort on promoting it and telling people that its good and worth of an investment.

I don't see why that would be news at all, although I guess it's because someone's last name is Kennedy, so I guess it should be associated with the glory days of that family, and especially the fact that he's the nephew of one of the most famous presidents (JFK).

I will not say that the man does not have an impressive career and that he is one of the more famous activists and lawyers who fight for the environment and ordinary people, but if he has a few BTC in his possession it is really not an important thing. Will it be news if we find out for a while that he sold BTC?
