I hope your rock it's authentic and you can prove that.

I do not think anyone would want to pay around $ 4,500 for a simple stone.

Good luck with your selling!

akumaburn, give us DETAIL. SHOW us why this rock is worth $5,000. SHOW us some good trades of yours.

If you need that kind of detail then you aren't the kind of buyer I am looking for.

It's a rock.. sapphire in composition.. has some interesting silk/layer patterns/colors/inclusions.

I can't say whether it is or isn't worth $5,000, but I do know it's possible to make a lot more than $5,000 with it using a simple process.. known to most gemologists.

I'd do it myself but am lacking in the $600 capital needed to purchase a particular device.

As far as good trades, I'm sorry I don't have a record of that sort of thing.
Let us know what that process is, I'm curious
or PM me, thx

Haha, I love the budding gemologist comments  Wink

This rock is indeed a sapphire, not all sapphires are blue and clear you know Smiley

It's rock, sapphire my ass.

OP from which angle it looks sapphire to you?

Well, that could easily be sapphire. As long as it has the right chemical makeup and isn't red (which is ruby) or a kind of orangey pink (which is called padparadscha) it's called sapphire. Certainly doesn't mean it's worth 5k though.

Obvious scam, is obvious.

Heh.  I have seen Toast, Captain Crunch, and even Nilla wafers go on ebay for thousands.  I think/thought it was intended as a joke.

Depends on whether you are a collector or not  Wink
