You really think people will pay you 30 grand directly without any escrow, either you are straight up a scammer or the most naive person existing.
LOL
Did you even bother to read his response to the question when it was asked because if you did, you wouldn't have made this comment either sarcastically or not.
Are you willing to accept escrow payments?
yes, of course
The issue I have with transaction such as this are two
1. How someone would join the forum for the first time, create an account, know the right section to place the ad simply for the main purpose of the trade. That alone signal some trust issues because it clearly show that its hiding under a new account to carry out this trade ( I could be wrong though).
2. The price of the wrist watch, how do you expect someone to spend $3000+ on a good that I won't see for myself and have some warranty on? I doubt if someone would want to do that and with a complete stranger and a "newbie" account at that.
1. Yes I specifically created this account to stay anonymous and I just happened to know the right section. I do not have any other account. I intend to be a reputable merchant here specializing in high-end jewelry.
2. The item is extremely well-priced, that is far below the market resell price (you can do a simple google search for this) and retail price (The new model Rolex Ref. 116688 retails for $43,550, you can check in Rolex's website), you would be surprised if I tell you there are a lot of watches way above the $500,000 mark (Richard Mille, Audemars Piguet Concept, Patek Philippe complications, any tourbillon watch, etc.). Yes luxurious watches are not for everyone and for 99% of people on Planet Earth, a $500 watch is considered luxurious, I'm just looking for those who are interested. Why is this priced fairly? simple, I just don't want to have to pay capital gain tax on it and would rather keep it in a rather liquid alternative asset, cryptocurrencies. This is a beautiful watch, you might ask why it depreciates, the reason for that is because it only does in the short-term, some luxurious Swiss watch brands (namely Rolex and Patek Philippe) have a waiting list (That can go for upwards 20 years for a person) for every of their new models. Remember this watch is of 18 carat yellow gold material, gold has an appreciating market in the long term. This specific ref. model did not have that much demand during its release hence why the resell price is still currently below the retail value (in comparison to the Rolex Submariner Hulk or the new Stainless steel Sky-dweller, or the new Daytona 116500 which all skyrockets in resell price, just like Adidas Yeezy sneakers or some Jordan sneakers).
