You're lucky to get it, other casinos will not likely do that to teach people a lesson that you don't mess around with their TOS, maybe because they believe in your story and they don't want your mother to be disappointed, this is a big lesson to you, you should continue playing to Rollbit but always follow what's on their TOS and whenever you are playing in any casino, its time to close this thread and your other thread in the scam section and also change the title to resolved.

Well, to avoid any delays like this better to follow all the rules and cooperate with the site, if they see something wrong with your transaction or with your KYC, then accept it. It’s good that Rollbit is very active on solving this issue, this is a good site to gamble and a very innovative site, i still see Rollbit as one of the best site to play with.

Because that is a problem of Coinbase, as far as I know, Coinbase state on their TOS (just read their TOS) that users cannot send or receive payments to or from any type of gaming/gambling platform. It will not arrive in the receiver's wallet or it will become worse if your Coinbase wallet account will probably freeze or shut down by them. Have you contacted both of these platforms?
It’s very clear, most of the exchanges don’t allow this kind of transaction and the problem is with the Coinbase especially if the transaction is still pending. Well, we should be more careful next time if we really want to enjoy Gambling, this can be solve only by chatting the support of Coinbase which can put your account at risk. Rollbit is good, they have new games to offer try to visit the site now.

Not necessarily. If you got limited on your main account they are likely fine with having you as a customer but if you start opening other accounts to circumvent the limits they'll ban those.

Anyways so I helped my mom set up an account as she is not very tech savy lol, but she has seeing me use rollbit a lot to place my bets and is most familiar with that site and wanted to use them.
she gave me some money, around $1200 CAD to deposit for her as she does not own any crypto, and i sent it to rollbit from my wallet (problem #1 maybe? but i havent seeing anything about this being against TOS)

I don't find any prohibition on TOS of rollbit about Mulit-accounting, if I missed it kindly correct me.

If you are sending the amount from your Rollbit wallet to your mom's Rollbit wallet, that maybe where the problem came from.  But if it is from a wallet outside Rollbit then I don't think there is problem. since the prohibition of multi-accounting is nowhere to be found on the TOS, AFAIK.


Here is the TOS about user account please take notice the bold one which is probably why ligz mom's account is banned, I am surprised that only ligz mom's account is banned though.

Your best bet would be through the support on the site though, I guess you violate more than just the T&S. Try to speak to them or the community through the discord channel, Im not sure that this will actually help but there is no harm in trying. The link to their discord channel is on the bottom right side of the page, its on the community tab or something there

It's quite simple and nothing to argue about really. If you get limited on your account you have to be some kind of special breed of idiot to think that opening up an account in your mothers name to circumvent said limitations is all fine and dandy.

At least next time go chat up your neighbour across the street if you want to do some shady shit.

What I read from your explanation is that you created an account for your mother, but maybe the problem is that both of your IPs may be detected using the same IP, making Rollbit suspect it, even though your mother verified it. But still, Rollbit suspected him.

The second is that you make a deposit using a very large amount of money for a new account, even if it comes from your wallet, which you often use for deposits. Or maybe Rollbit also suspects that you created a new account using your mother's identity.

I think Rollbit has many reasons to suspect someone's account is connected to another account or not and I think you can wait for an answer from Rollbit. I hope you can solve your problem properly and you can get your money. And remember, don't deposit too much money if your account is new.

So I use rollbit to bet on sports and I have been making some money doing it.
My mom knows that I have made some money, watched me bet on games and stuff and wanted to start betting and help her make an account and all that, show her what im betting on and stuff.

Before we set up an account for her, my rollbit account was "limited" not banned, so my max bet was reduced making it basically useless to bet. It was limited a few hours after I placed 2 bets on the same game, 1 bet lost and 1 bet won, but the bet that won was cancelled a few hours after it was paid out as a winner. They took the profit back on the winning bet, and and kept the loss of the other bet that lost. I contacted them about the bet and they basically said the "odds were incorrect" and would not elaborate more, but that's a whole other story.

I reassured her and then showed her that she could withdraw it all at any time, but since was new account it said must wager $10. So we wagered $10 on a game and when the bet was settled we cashed out, told  her it would take max 30 mins to come to my account, as rollbit for me has been really quick with cashouts.
Hours went by and nothing, so we contacted support and were told it needed to be manually done (new to me) by a colleague but they are unavailable right now. (mom is panicking at this point)

next morning they ask for KYC, so my mom completes the KYC and tells them its complete. Time goes by and now they ask for a selfie of her holding her ID, she completed that. Next day rollbit says your account is banned for KYC circumvention and they dont complete the withdraw. Shes upset, and rollbit will not explain what is wrong with her ID and completely ignores her.

I gave my mom the $1200 back she gave to me to deposit.

We dont know how else to get this money back from rollbit, or if we ( or I ) were in the wrong and broke TOC for sending from my wallet?

You tried getting around the rules by making an account in your moms name. I'm sure you didn't read the ToS either or you would have seen that 1 account per household which is why i'm guessing your moms account is flagged. IMO as soon as I read that your account was limited I knew this was a bs story.

Now, my opinion on your original deposit. Normally I would say that casinos should refund your deposit and ban all your accounts, but I think people need consequences for their actions. The casino shouldn't get to keep your whole deposit but they should take some sort of fee for you wasting their time.

It's not my call but that's my opinion. I'm sure a rollbit rep will shed some more light on this situation.

So, you basically violated their terms of service there.

Have you read their terms of service? I'm surprised that you, as an experienced user, did not seek clarification with customer support before taking any actions that could cause problems in the future.


Ignorance of the rules excuses no one, you cannot defend your action because of not knowing the TOS all these times we always discussed terms of service on the casinos posted on this forum, if you are active here you know it and if you are a long time player you should not forget it, this is one big lesson for you and all the players, read the terms even if you're not playing and more so if you are going to play.

There must be something wrong on your side or they have found your documents to be wrong but can't say exactly as there must be reason for they saying this thing.Moreover your don't have screenshot for the chat as you say account is deleted so how can we assume things? Honestly? I agree with your statement that there must be something wrong with the documents or something wrong in general. Otherwise, I have gambled here many times and deposited over a dozen times and withdrew a few times and I was never asked for my documents, and even if I did, I would assume that any place that allowed me the withdraw without trouble would make sure that I would get it after the KYC as well if they did it without it.

Then, it could only mean that there must be something wrong but let’s wait for it, open a scam accusation and we could check it right? We could see what the issue is and complainer could tell his side and Rollbit could defend their side and we can judge.
