If users use those free plays and win big, will they allow to withdraw won prize? Of free play offers are only used for getting experience on Roobet.com without spending real funds?

I still think they are not a "scam" there is a whooooole difference between being a scam casino and being a very high house edge casino. Just because they are charging a sector high house edge doesn't mean they are scamming people.
Agree, moreover

Scam != incompetence != unethical marketing practice. People just like to use the "scam" word for everything.

with the high house edge they warn you about it beforehand and they tell you that you will most likely lose all your money here very quickly and it is all up to you if you want to continue gambling here or not. Is it a bad business practice?
Not really, some land casinos offer higher HE than its competitor, but they still can be profitable (healthy). Some offer better beverages, some associated with high-class VIP persons, etc.

they are just a casino that is ran by not feedbacks but ideas, that's it
Yeah, but sometimes feedback can be useful though.
I am here as a "gambling pundit," not going to be butthurt if my voice --about casino's best practice to inform HE-- being ignored. I'll just move to comment about other casinos Grin
In digital world you can't provide drinks, shows, meals or whatever else for the extra house edge, those do not exist, all you can offer is money back and that's it, you can offer rakes, you can offer free spins, you can offer whatever you want but in the end they are taking money that gamblers used to have on their wallets and in return give money that is not in their hands but in their casino bankroll that they have to wager most of the time to get out, it is not even "here you can withdraw this" most of the time.

If this was a land casino I would totally understand because you can provide people with extra stuff that still costs money, drinks, meals, shows all normally cost money and that can be a good compensation, free spins is nowhere near that level.

Let's do it this way, okay they are charging a sector high house edge, it shouldn't have been done but its done, what now?
IMO they have the rights to use whatever house edge they want. However, users should be informed about it, and the information must be accurate without shenanigans. Not all users are "HE sensitive" some would choose Roobet if it offers different gaming experiences.

I genuinely hope that the "honest casino" tagline is not only a marketing ploy, but they sincerely mean it. This casino has great potential that makes me sad to see how this discussion progressed.

A long-lasting, well-paid signature campaign, supported by community = wet dream.

When you talk about scam it should be regard to something that is not on the rules and something illegal, with the high house edge they warn you about it beforehand and they tell you that you will most likely lose all your money here very quickly and it is all up to you if you want to continue gambling here or not. Is it a bad business practice?

Looking at the posts obviously it is, should they change it back to lower house edges? Sure they should, but none of these make them a "scam", they are just a casino that is ran by not feedbacks but ideas, that's it. There is a big big big difference between a badly managed company and a scam one.

Hey! We reached out to you about making this right. We're giving you your $150 giveaway win Smiley Hope you have a nice week!
It's another nice move, Roobet team. I understood that sometimes teams have to make decisions to adjust rule when cheaters come in and compromise the system. I am not Roobet team member so I did not know what actually caused your decisions to make rule adjustments, that affected the win of dkbit95 but maybe at the time the time implemented new rules, they did not realize that there are winners instantly affected by that adjustment.

In campaigns, companies and managers emphasize that they have rights to change rules at any time they want. As the others said, new rules should only be applied with new rounds, the last round before rules changed should be applied with old rules and people who satisfy requirements with old rules should be paid. That's all.

the moment they changed their website from "fair casino" to "you lose a lot but we also give back a bit" they lost so many customers that even the topic is not moving as fast as it used to, yet they claim the customers are happy so there must be some customers outside of bitcointalk that still fill enough spaces on their casino to make a profit.

From FAIR to HONEST to DISHONEST to ....

We gave you $200 instead of $150 Smiley

You gave him what he deserve after he made a complain here?
That's a professional behaviour LOL, giving him $50 more wont make you looks better because you did it really bad before he made the complain.
Now you get more red trust, you should try to clear it all for better reputation. Otherwise most people here wont play on your site because of your bad reputation.

Substantiate your success.
I think the "honest" part of the casino is found now, they are charging a loot more on their house edge compared to other houses and they are telling you that they will take your money away faster than any other website on the planet and since they don't lie about it and they are actually telling how high their house edge is they could be considered honest.

Normally, if you charged anyone this type of insane high house edge, you may want to lie about it since you wouldn't want people to run away, but they seem to not care about people who run away from the high house edge so they just tell the truth about the insanity of their house edge. Shouldn't that be considered a bit honest at least? Kinda feels like a scammer who tells you "I will not pay you back" and being honest about it.
Maybe we should give them some space, they have done something now, they are building on top of that and trying to make this work. If the discussion gets stuck with the part where they are getting more and more money from the customers (I can't stop myself) than they can't improve a single bit, the discussion will stick to house edge and move forward.

Let's do it this way, okay they are charging a sector high house edge, it shouldn't have been done but its done, what now?

I mean since they literally spiked their house edge, there must be something they are thinking about improving with that much money, in reality they are probably making less money than all other 1% places because there are less people gambling here but even if millions of people gamble here, the purpose of higher house edge should be for something, not just to make more money and end of discussion. Maybe we should here what they have to say about charging so much.

Thank you, this is in fact why we had to increase the edges. We operate at a much lower volume than other casinos, and we want to give back a lot more. In order to fund all the giveaways/promo codes/rains and our rakeback system, we had to increase the edges to compensate.

I call bullshit.

Get this scam casino out of here.

Okay maybe calling it a "scam" casino is not really the right way to go, they are obviously not a "scam" casino for sure.

However, they are charging one of the highest ever house edges in all of crypto casinos, the moment they changed their website from "fair casino" to "you lose a lot but we also give back a bit" they lost so many customers that even the topic is not moving as fast as it used to, yet they claim the customers are happy so there must be some customers outside of bitcointalk that still fill enough spaces on their casino to make a profit.

Hey, it is their website and they are the ones who are in charge, if they can find some gullible people to gamble and lose money to a record high house edge, then that is a good business model for them and congratz.

Agreed this casino did change from Fair and Honest to being a completely rigged casino. Sad when a casino can't just take their losses.

So they added the rule after the giveaway ended that makes you not eligible for the prize?
If it is true then it is not good, they should keep the rules as what they had on the first time. They can add new rules before the giveaway ends, but adding new rules after winner is picked is not good at all.
You should get what you win from the giveaway IMO unless the rule was there but you did not notice it.

They added this special rule on the last day only after everyone joined.  Grin
I don't care about their 150$, but they are obviously NOT honest, and they do NOT want new users.
