Hello,
I just wanted to issue a warning on Round coin http://roundcoin.org/

(Screenshot: https://shrinktheweb.snapito.io/v2/webshot/spu-ea68c8-ogi2-3cwn3bmfojjlb56e?size=800x0&screen=1024x768&url=http%3A%2F%2Froundcoin.org%2F)

They have ripped the First Blood White Paper

Copyscape https://dochub.com/briank47f1ff88/y1Doar/copyscape?dt=jocbz3mhu051tvjh

Diff Checker https://www.diffchecker.com/sCveQ9uU

They have ripped the web design off another site: http://www.web-freeks.com/

They might not be a scam. But they seem to lack some ethics.

Best regards,
Brian

Who is the dev or if they even have a team? Look like the era of serial lone scammer is back.
Unknown dev, unknown team coming out of nowhere collecting BTC from newbies then disappeared to creating more coins.

I am starting to cover scam projects and Round was to atrocious to ignore. Created a similar thread here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1837661.new#new

It is important that we self-police as a community to project our users. The devs of Round refuse to reveal themselves are are operating our of Russia. Their site has been accepting actual Round tokens with no deposit friction but users cannot withdraw unless the devs manually send it to them. Their system is also not a smart contract or a dapp, it is 100% centralized at this point. Founders are most likely pumping and dumping so hard they made it to top 15 on crypto market with less than $100k vol.

People need to recognize these red flags and stay away. Not a safe project.

So what else is new here, some of the coins listed here are just clone or a relaunch of an old coins,I'm not surprise if those two coins have the same dev, because we all know, they used the same graphics and materials,so just to make the coin new in the eyes of the investors.

Jesus, all I am saying by posting this thread is if you're invested in Round Coin you may want to take some additional caution. Use a stop loss or sell perhaps etc.

First blood and Round coin do not have the same developer if that's what you're implying. First blood is a legitimate project, unlike these other rehash projects..

Good luck folks
Brian

After seeing the scam of Gamebet I'm naturally aware that even the most polished esports sites can be a scam. When I looked at it alarm bells started ringing and reminded me a lot of Gamebet.

Do they have an official thread here already? majority of the coins here are just clone of the other coins, but of course it's not right to copy some one works, but it's very rampant here in the cryptocurrency it will just go down who can develo their coin and price better
It's a shitcoin put out by copypasting shitheads, and doesn't everyone with a new, unnecessary crypto do this nowadays?   Not that it's right, but what do you expect?   Everyone in the crypto world is trying to get rich quick and yet at the same time is lazy as fuck.  This example here is just one of many, and I'd never even heard of roundcoin before.

Yes, I'm just posting a warning for folks. Perhaps somebody is invested in round coin and if so they may want to use extra caution. Use a stoploss etc.

Brian

This is quite sad. I think the cryptocurrency is now getting unruly because of the fact that this industry is also decentralized and so far no government or agency is regulating it. Now, anybody can introduce any coin and sell the coin to the global audience without even getting any certification from any agency whatsoever. Although this is good because we are not under the mercy of any agency but the sad thing is that many investors can fall into scammers. And I am sure there are so many scam type of coins right now on the market and soon more can be coming our way...we just have to be careful.

Yes they do. I've posted on the thread and it was deleted..

I'm going for the team that comes up with the idea and original white paper. That being First Blood.

Copyscape https://dochub.com/briank47f1ff88/y1Doar/copyscape?dt=jocbz3mhu051tvjh

Diff Checker https://www.diffchecker.com/rggFwjXH

In addition to that. The team members remain anonymous. They're not on their webpage nor on their thread..

The coin has been pumped up quite high recently.. This is likely done with the right hand and left hand..

I.e. they own a huge percentage of the coins and can manipulate the price

They might not be a scam. But they seem to lack some ethics.

Best regards,
Brian
