Anyone got in $BALD? I hope not. On-chain data (https://twitter.com/redactedp4mp/status/1686095057143881729) suggest interactions between the meme coin BALD’s deployer contract and one of the wallets tagged by Nansen as belonging to Alameda Research - the trading company founded and controlled by Sam. The data was cited by several blockchain sleuths on X (Twitter) and later validated by CoinDesk.

I got in $BALD and I regret it. It was a degen play and only invested what I could afford to lose. Nevertheless a loss is a loss. Oh well. Moving onto the next shitcoin...
It's really funny that Sam is still trying to get peoples money after all the trouble he has been through. I mean it was always obvious that we are not going to end up with him doing anything decent, it was obvious and his bail being lifted makes sense. I also do not know anyone who has invested into BALD, it never made sense that anyone would invest into these shitcoins and tokens.

I mean it's obvious that we are talking about a situation that would be remotely this terrible, it just doesn't make sense. I hope that people get to do this a lot better when the time comes and stop investing into these things, it should be important. I believe that we could make a bigger impact on this, and that should be a lot more important.

I was just reading about this story. I’m not sure if I believe it. I haven’t seen any evidence but I can’t say I’ve really looked. I’ve only seen people saying they suspect it might have been him. Other than the timing of it being possible, is there anything else that could tie him to this? Is this part of why his bail was revoked?

Yeah, for us it's hard to piece the puzzle here whether it was really SBF behind it or at least he has a hand on the Bald rugpull.

But one thing is for sure in the altcoin market, it's going to be crazy specially that we are in a bear market and everyone is trying to make money in this very hard economy that we have. Maybe the devs in the beginning was really not going to do it, but suddenly in the last minute they decided to a a scam with SBF behind, really hard to pinpoint it at this time.

Well I think SBF is now going crazy in the jail. Because now he is asking for the judge to let him out 5 days each week so he can get prepared for his court case.

I am not sure if he is being really serious with this. If the judge does let him leave the jail 5 days each week I think there is going to be so many mad people who is following his case.

Degen is degen, never hold for long though, always take profit as much as you can and early as you can. Still, I am surprised that it was connected to SBF again, surely it will have a bad impact on him and crypto as well, though SBF has already bad records to begin with. Still, he will be again liable for that again if that's the case.

Well it is not looking very good for SBF now. And there is saying that his x-girlfriend Caroline Ellison has some really bad dirt on him.
I want to see what this memo is called 'Things Sam Is Freaking Out About'. And I can not understand how this man is allowed to have his adderall while he is in jail.

It wouldn’t surprise me, SBF is a guy who doesn't care about anybody else. He’s a massive criminal, one of the worst fraudsters of the last 20 years or more.

I just hope he gets a long prison sentence as some sort of justice for the pain & suffering he put so many people through.

Yeah his was pretty expansive and to boot was footing political donations.  It's on the level of a full up mob like ties only I hope the politicians didn't know.  Likely they didn't since most don't really look into the money they are receiving.  Dude shoukd be jailed for a long time.

I can say the $BALD token rugpull has been the most of all rugpulls in recent times, people never saw it coming and they didn't expect it to be what it turned out to be because they noticed the liquidity couldn't have been that of someone who rugpulls but then the worst and the most happened.

I can't say Sam and his company was involved as they know that the world has eyes on their operations, anything they do will be publicised and that kind of publicity isn't what they want right now.

Wow, so a prisoner could still scam while being in prison? This is too much and for sure an irritating scenario considering he's in prison and yet can still rug another token. I think the base network will here to stay but for sure there will be rug pull that will going around so it's best to keep always vigilant.

SBF is like an untouchable guy because of how the proceedings go with him against the case he's got with the FTX. And with his involvement with BALD, I don't even know if there is something that will happen on it.

That's sad, that's really how it is when we're investing in projects like this. We'll never know if they'll do good in the near future or if they're there just to scam people. Lesson learned and we have to move on and proceed to the next project that we'll invest so, be careful next time and hopefully it won't happen again.

Why am I not surprised to hear this? Seems the guy SBF will be spending a very long time behind bars, guy is a crook and deserves to rot in jail after all the pain he made people suffer.

I have actually not heard anything about him in a while, by the way.
Last time I checked he was living comfortably in his house, but wearing a localizing ankle device until he day of his trial comes.

He definitely deserves spending some years behind bars, but keeping in mind the privileged position he has had for years, I would not be surprised if he managed to slip away from his problems, by the time it happens, there would be few people to notice, the community would have moved on.

Quite appropriate a shitcoin scammer ended up being a professional exchange scammer, Do Kwon would be proud of him. They both should be cellmates.

Seeing these two walk free will be a travesty of justice. They don't deserve freedom. For everyone they have made to suffer, do should suffer, but then, this is the irony of life; those who should be paying for the sins they have committed are receiving a tap on their back treatment.

Another memcoin scam has successfully defrauded many gullible gambling investors and escaped with their money. Another developer got rich at the expense of ludomaniacs. Nothing changes in the crypto world and even if the market swallows another 1,000,000 projects like BALD, I doubt that something will change in the minds of investors and they will stop participating in such scams. There is no limit to human greed.
Even if not a scam, meme coins are still a risky kind of an investment but it's only better if it's legit because investors can get lucky and earn more. If not, they can still sell their asset for some money. They are not coming home with a zero amount.

Just don't stress yourself about these losers because I think many of them already accepted or expected it and they don't feel bad about their losses. They are only gambling in meme coins in hopes of earning a quick and easy profit. What is only crazy about this meme coin here is that Scam Bankman Fried is said to be involved with it. I thought the guy is already rotten in prison? What the fvk? Lol.

I am absolutely not worried about other people's stupid decisions. It's their experience and their money. I would be less worried about anything memcoin related if memcoin activity didn't interfere with the normal and healthy activities of normal users of various networks. These shitcoins are cluttering up mempools and making commissions very high. If there was less of this scam, I as a user wouldn't have to pay super high commissions this spring. All these NFT's, memcoins and other useless shitcoins are making the networks difficult for all users.

If it would be him it would be hilarious. I wasn't involved either in LUNA or BALD, but imagine being scammed twice by the same man.

Well now its more problems for SBF. Now he is being accused of using $100 Million for political dentations. These were stolen funds from the ftx customers.
He told 2 employees to not reveal where contributions came from. And to evade donation limits.

Apparently the issue is favoring the deployer was SBF but in anycase how can we prove its him? It could be anyone from their team or heads in the company. Or course the first suspect would be its founder obviously but with bald developer action, it seems like they really try to game the system on base network and rekt a lot of users by removing huge portion of liquidity. Many have gain for those who arent greedy but some losses on this degen play. Well thats how degen works anyway but this particular dev is quite greedy and trickster at all.

Well if its SBF then damn him to steal funds in that approach.

I don’t think it was SBF but I think it was someone from within Alameda however. They are pretty much involved in everything, well at least they were.

And I don’t think it’s smart of them to basically keep on trading, especially with funds that are not theirs. Either way SBF is in jail at the moment and hopefully won’t be released anytime soon.

It's just a rumor and can't really prove it at all.

No need SBF to scam us, It's meme token already got a predictable move. Most of them will ending (0, scam, or abandoned) once reached the all-time high. So, without SBF we already got already potential lose.

If you trading meme token.

Whether he is tied on this project or not, better be scrutinizing every token that you will get involved with.
It won't be a surprise if he is part of it though. However, each project has the tendency to rugpull.
You have no valid proof if he is into this project. But we can always move on and find valuable ones.
There are a lot more scammers other than SBF. Remember, most of them are anonymous.
