When you see something like this, RUN and Don't look back.

The official twitter channel of SPACE ID is @SpaceIDProtocol, the link in the picture above is fake, also why would I be qualified for something I don't even know or follow before? No task completed or whatsoever.

Never mind

I know where this is going, all those who couldn't tell the difference will join this raindrop with their BNB wallet address and this people will sent a fake SPACE ID token to your BNB wallet address.

You try selling the token, and that's when the once seemingly impossible thing will turn possible, all your tokens will be wiped out.

Be cautious out there, Twitter is boiling up with fake Arbitrum and SPACE ID giveaways right now.

Is there anything special about SPACEID because lately few of my crypot friends introduced me to this token.
They told me to hold BNB in my binance account to receive these tokens but I was reluctant.
Now people are even creating fake accounts of this project and scamming others?
What's all the buzz about ?
Same question I want to ask, I did some research on this SpACEID project but I am not confused to invest in such project, NFT things is not really my haven, I still prefer buying Arbitrum or Hook Protocol over SPACEID, or other projects, the biggest loses I had in 2021 was from NFT projects.

When your Twitter account has already followed airdrops accounts, you will often get notifications which if you're not careful will make you think it's true and follow every instructions from the giveaway, which will be a problem when there are instructions to connect the wallet or when you have to send such an amount for gas fees, then it can be ascertained as an attempt to cheat especially if via DM, but there are also just to make the followers of the account increase. Those who are pursuing airdrops are expected to be careful and study every form of fraud so as not to get trapped and lose assets.
It's dangerous if you're unaware of these tweets that are not coming from official project's that are managing the airdrops. There have been too many victims fell for this sort of scam about a hype project and thinking that they're not yet late.

Fraud from these type of scenes are a lot and they're not regulated, even the platforms where they're posting, they can't be stopped.

When you're too obsessed with airdrops like on spaceID, you better be careful with all of those that will be shown to you through algorithm and recommendations.

Because of the recent Arbitrum token airdrops that have made many people wealthy, I am aware that fake airdrop tokens like these will occasionally appear on Twitter to deceive gullible followers. Due to the recent widespread belief that participating in an airdrop will make one wealthy, scammers will start to use Arbitrum tokens to construct fraudulent tokens that seem real in an effort to steal people's wallets.

It has already received thousands of retweets. In any case,I'm not shocked because many people aspire to succeed in the crypto industry. They don't want to pass up any opportunities that Twitter may present. If thats all it takes for them to become wealthy, they are willing to put their wallet at risk.

-    As far as I know, they do have airdrops to launch, I just don't know if it's over or if it's going to happen on the binance launchpad, if I'm not mistaken. If I am not too late I will participate in it.

Because I don't believe that it was just posted on twitter, because the twitter platform is like telegram which has become a nest of scammers and hackers, based on my observation.

Still be careful in receiving airdrops especially if you haven't participated in any activities. There's some airdrop that once you clicked it, it would drain your wallet and your assets will be gone in just a second. Always double check the legitimately of the accounts and address. But based on the OP post with the given photo, it looks like a scam to me since having a huge amount of likes and retweets can be easily done by bots to make it look authentic. Most likely the common victim with this kind of scam is the beginners. It would be a good thing to have this kind of topic in the forum for people to be aware of what's scam and not. I'll share an experience where hackers and scammer made an actual fake website for minting NFT and a lot was scammed since they launched it the same time with the real project. They minted almost worth around $200 each. I conclude that there's a real airdrops and fake just double check to make sure.

Just by looking at the Twitter ID, we should already be aware that it is a hoax and most likely the retweets or quotes that are there have also been mostly regulated by bots to make it look convincing and add to the conditions where many people who still don't really understand this stuff get stuck.
Fraudulent tricks like this always happen when there is a project that is really being monitored, so we need to be really careful. Running is the right thing to do because going with the flow like this will only cost you later.

With projects that are being hyped and getting the crowd, scammers will take time and won't let this opportunity pass to take their moments as well.
Those that are greedy will never notice the difference and think that this is a common thing that comes from the official team from any project that they're checking.
There will always be those fake airdrops, fake giveaways and don't let yourself bite into those fake tweets.

This is most likely their tactics and they know how people will react blindly if they put those baits in their posts. thankfully there are also people who warned others about this matter to prevent themselves from becoming victims of these kinds of scams that are roaming the internet nowadays. But unfortunately, when you look at the address used by the scammers you will see that there are still some people that were falling victim to this scam and they don't know what's going on until they lose their money because those baits blinded them and their greed got them bad.

What exposes people to scams is the offers made by scammers to get their attention.
And when people are not aware that it is a scam, they instead deposit money with scammers assuming those people will get a refund within a certain time.
In anticipation of this, this has been reported on many websites, but it seems that this does not apply to people who still want to find a quick way to make money.
So that's what makes people get scammed by fraudsters even though the fraudsters only use old tricks that are often used.

I think if people are more careful, they will pay even better attention, because the link for their social media has actually been included, but for people who have just joined, maybe they will be tempted and try to follow it, I think a warning like this is good too.

Be careful now that many scammers create websites and many are trapped in situations like this, it would be nice to enter the official website and don't rush to fill out the form.
if you find a fake website, report it or make a trick so people don't get fooled by fake websites.
That's right, every time a new project appears that is predicted to be big there are definitely a lot of scammers around. Yesterday before ARB was launched I found many fake sites that were very similar to the original ARB site. and after that a lot of people who weren't careful and connect their wallets with that site, and what happened next was a lot of ARB tokens that were stolen.

Scammers are doing their best effort to fool people, don't trust any link not unless it came from the official page and announcement.
I have my friend who recently got victim of this scheme unfortunately he was not able to recover any funds and lose the chance to have profit with $ARB. This is the result if you become greedy and can't wait for the process, remember in cryptospace there's a lot of greedy player who wants to take advantage of others so be careful always.

Subscribed to the official twitter of the project and there is not even a hint of an airdrop. Moreover, I have been participating in the company for a long time. You must warn your friends so they don't make a mistake.
You know it's not hard to spot scams in this space, but sometimes some users are still fooled by basic tricks like this. And this is not the most complicated trick that attackers attack on users. Sometimes we are very easy to fall into the trap of our own greed, basically to avoid these things just follow the official channels and do not pay attention to anything until there is an official announcement.

thank you for the information, because this is very helpful and indeed scammers always take advantage of the opportunities that exist, therefore we have to be even more careful, especially since Space ID is currently hype, because Space ID was launched on Binance launchpad, so there are people who take advantage of this opportunity to steal our money by doing scam.

if you find a fake website, report it or make a trick so people don't get fooled by fake websites.

Thank you for bringing up this important issue. It is indeed crucial to be careful when entering personal information online and to verify the legitimacy of websites before submitting any sensitive information.
If you come across a fake website, you can report it to the relevant authorities or organizations. Most browsers and search engines have tools to report suspicious websites, and you can also report it to organizations like the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3).
In addition to reporting the website, you can also help prevent others from falling victim to the scam by sharing your experience and warning others about the fake website. You can post about it on social media, online forums, or review websites to alert others and raise awareness about the scam.
Finally, it's always a good idea to stay vigilant and keep an eye out for common red flags that may indicate a website is fake, such as misspellings or grammatical errors, suspicious URLs, and requests for personal information. By staying informed and cautious, you can help protect yourself and others from online scams.

The only reason why such scams still persist today is because people are still falling for it and the scammers are making money. People are easily swayed by freebies and will some times not do the appropriate check before submitting their details. Thanks for your post but I'm afraid it will have limited effect.

Well, if you're not careful you might really believe this is the official account and announcement of Space ID due to the number of likes and retweet of the said post.

Though this is not something new, there are still investors who might fall into this trap.

So for everyone, always verify if the announcement is true because fake giveaways are common not just on Twitter but on other social media platforms as well.

Not just SpaceID and Arbitrum, the tweeter space has always been loaded with fake giveaways and truly people need to be careful with whatever they like out there. However, you can directly identify that the account isn't the tweeter account for SpaceID and that someone is trying to maybe do a genuine giveaway or just find a way to rip innocent people off.
