I think that with equal or strong opponents, they rarely make peace. Let it even exist, but the opposition always remains. The United States never fought each other against each other. But still their wars were carried out in other territories. Remember Afghanistan or Vietnam, and now Syria.

THAAD is soleley against NK. No Kim, no NK, no THAAD.

The chinese can easily overrun the THAAD system with the sheer amount of their missiles.

Normally when two super-powers fight against each other, they will get weakened, and a third super-power will emerge as the dominant one. It will happen with the US and Russia as well. China will emerge as the top super-power, as the US and Russia remains busy fighting each other.

The parent disagreement between the US and Russia is staying the hands of all parties involved. Russia can't react like they want to, given the current political climate, and Iran will not act without Russia's blessing, being outmatched by the US, and a Russian Ally. Oh grief. World powers do as they want and civilians suffer what they must. It's really hard to tell now which of the two started what and what groups they were funding. Not to mention that what the media say about this depends on which outlet you are watching and which side they are supporting. And we wonder why some people don't care about what's happening there.

The resolution to this seem to be far from sight but it seem it won't stop until there's a change of government there. After all, that's what started the conflict in the first place. Problem is, should there really be change? And what change is necessary and what would the powers allow?

As far as I remember Putin recently considered Trump Erdogan and his friends. With the attack on the air base have yet to understand. I don't see any serious damage. Maybe it's a red herring to divert suspicion from Trump?

The situation right now is very critical as we all know both are super powers with access to nuclear weapons and all it would take is one gunshot against the other and the world would go to shit. To think that an impending world war may just happen within our lifetime is very dishearteningand hopefully putin and trump would have more sense to talk things over
