I think this news is not new anymore, since russia had been mining bitcoins for a long time now, alongside with china, they already had acceptec bitcoin, but the news was it is solely for the government's purpose, but if they are now letting their citizens to use cryptocurrency for transactions, there would be a lot of millionaires that will come from russia, given their cold climate and low electricity cost, they could just mine all the coins they want, which will give them a great advantage among other countries.
If this happens, the market will go up and after Russia many countries will support this initiative. But how soon this will happen is unknown.

Ahaha, so true. Russia is not an indicator at all. Yes, there are a lot of people from Russia who own crypto but frankly if the Russian government tries to intervene in any sector that's actually an indicator that they want a share of your money, preferably all of it. In the end, it is one of the most corrupt countries in the world.

it is actually a good news for crypto world. another big country has finally realize the worth and the capabilities of crypto. russia is a big country and I think, it might pull the price to go up again.
sooner or later, every state will legalize cryptocurrency, because it is a very fat piece, a lot of money. And who wants their issue out of the hands? The process of legalisation is very complex, so it has not been done yet. I am sure that the government is developing a number of laws that will provide for all aspects of cryptocurrency, and as much as possible to take away from us our honestly earned bitcoins in a legal way. When they government ban icos sometime ago the cryptocurrencies market get dump and now we are having them legalize it there is no way it is not going to get pump. I just hope this information come to pass and we would have a good days when this happens.

You could have provide the source so that we could find authenticity of news . Recent big news i heard about russia is they are planning to use ethereum blockchain for creating their own crypto currency . But still its just news. Until any official announcement nothing going to change.
If this is true ten it will be good news for the crypto community. Cryptocurrency has faced lots of obstacles in the past and needs all the support it can get. A country with a strong economy such as Rusis's will be a welcome addition to the countries accepting Cryptocurrency transactions. It will also present a step closer to complete acceptance as well as bring on board new investors
Unfortunately I also think that nothing good will come of it, but you have to hope for the best. You can understand that technology is not standing still, and better that they go in one direction. I have not heard the news, but if it is true I hope it will be good news. And can trigger and motivate other countries to be able to accept Crypto. I'm sure if more and more countries are receiving Crypto, it will increase people's trust and certainly increase the value of investments, and automatically increase the price of all Cryptocurrency Coins.
If that information is correct, then I think you should have full evidence. I don't understand what does it mean - legalise crypto, if crypto don't illegal. They will regulate crypto and rules will be more strict than now. It is bad news for me than good.
