They're probably all owned by the same person as it is impossible to distinguish between their writing styles.

Here are the projects they've recently been hired to promote:

Storecoin
PointPay
Deesseel
Wowsecret
AskBrains
TERA PLATFORM

These are all highly likely to be scam projects, as this bumping service has promoted several scams in the past. They are all formulaic, unoriginal projects with team members that are impossible to verify. I'm going to look into them more closely one by one later... I wouldn't be surprised if all these projects were launched by the same team of people.

Here's who posted in which thread, which makes it obvious they are all working together:

I'm tagging all of these members (Jr Members or above) and considering opening flags on projects that hire them. Pretending your project has interest when it doesn't while finding a clever way to skirt forum rules is a dishonest tactic and this kind of behavior should be discouraged. If you disagree, I'm more than willing to consider your viewpoint.

Anyway, I am not sure what is the real motivation of this fork? Talking about decentralization, scalability, and security? I guess we already seen some project solving it (i.e: Tezos). I am sure there are ETH devs are around and they will leave their inputs.

Do you have any proof for your statement?

If a merit source helps to rank up a member who deserves to rank up is only doing his "job".

I'm pretty sure if one is a full member with 240 merits with good post history and a merit source notice this he will rank up ASAP.

For timing, I presume LoyceV opened the user's post history open messages to see he deserve to rank up also, man use your brain if he was selling his merit why he did so many transactions for 1 merit and not 1 or 2 transactions with all the merits? It's a lot less risky... to avoid this kind of accusation.

- instead of keeping a low profile, panicked, the suspect comes and starts accusing others
- people get interested and dig more, uncovering more accounts connected and getting them banned
