Anyone know how to disable 'Fan Stop' feature on this card?
I have fan set to manual and maxed out in WattMan. The fan revs to 100% but stops to 0 every few minutes.
I can seem to disable fan stop completely! Please advice.

What mining software are you using?
Maybe try in thread of this software?

~29 if Samsung memory, easiest way. Some Elpida modules can make 31, but i could't do this on my hardware. On other types of memory much worser.

here is the modified bios. this bios brings up to 28.50 MH/SEC with only 85watt power usage.i have tested this bois and working super fine.it will defiantly
helpful for gigabyte rx 570 gaming 4g 4gb samsung memory users.

That got me ~28.50 MH/s @ 1150 Mhz / 1950 Mhz @ 85watt (Total system=165watt , system idle takes 80watt and graphic card takes nearly 85watt)

Core Clock      -  1150
Memory Clock  -  1950
FAN               -   70%
Core Voltage   -   -96%
Power Limit     -   +10% here is the link

Aorus is way better at cooling for sure 7 Degrees C difference at least. Regarding the hash and memory still searching for optimal strap.

Strange stuff this 4GB Hynix... at 2080 I get no CDC errors, but at 2050 I get lots of them...

Hashrate is unaffected but I don't like hashing with CDC errors.

Anyone got a decent strap for it?

aorus has the most elaborate hardware.. backplate with relief for the back of the compute unit.. but it's not clocked as high as some of the other cards that are the generic release.

i kind of expected more considering the aorus is a step up from the gaming.

Is the main difference between the 570 Gaming and AORUS the clock speed and back plate?

Anyone tried mining with the AORUS? How is it doing compared to the Gaming 570?

Thanks

Probably cooler than the gaming model, will be able to check soon maybe tomorrow, they also have different memory (hynix)
Cooler seems better Smiley

How is the hynix compared to the elpida? on the gaming?

I'd appreciate if you can give me some more info tomorrow!

Thanks

Check the elpida bios and take the strap from there. Make sure it's the elpida strap.

I used the popular custom elpida strap.

which one?

guys if you are unable to mod and strap your own bios at least learn to search.

helping the community is one thing, enabling poor form is another.

I am able to strap and mod my own bios, however, my elpida memory doesn't get anywhere close to such results, so I am very curious about this.

also "the popular custom elpida strap" yields hundreds of results, and I don't even know if such a strap is from a 470/480/570/580 or from some other forum topic.

Same in my case, can't get over 2000mhz. Strap 1500 to upper freqs.

I used the popular custom elpida strap.

After 12H of testing 2075 yielded some small amount of CDC Errors.

Therefore I am now at 1200/2050 MHz hashing 29.6 MH/s
