This has also been a problem in paxful recently. If you're trading with low trust profiles then never do deals with them from a distance. In person deals for small ammounts can be beneficial for both and also earn them a good amount of trust too before going in distance trades.

I did not find that any people loose their money like in localbitcoins, it might be issue in the paxful but lbc users always go with the high trusted member or they use to trade with the repeatative member with whom they traded already. In localbitcoins we can easily from the traders information and feedback and number of trust they have. If the person does not have 100 percent trust. We should not go to trade with them. People like this newbie sometime scammers attacking to them.

Well if you happen to choose a reputable escrow person on localbitcoin just send your payeer transaction history and tell him there really no money send by the seller he would make a good judgement on your situation. Goodluck

you should be pretty careful on localbitcoins. there are other bitcoin exchanges that provide more security

Localbitcoins from experience provides one of the smoothest trading experiences out there. I trust the platform to provide escrow more than major exchanges, since usually their support do not answer on time but LBC support is a lot more responsive.

An audit shouldn't even be necessary, but could be helpful.

Yeah. Well there will be scammers anywhere, even when there is escrow. That's why high rep is always favored.

Hello
yesterday a buyer named Nikfon has disputed a trade and he created a screenshot that he had sent 500$ to my payeer account i checked my account there are no money and take a screenshot from history there are no transaction and post it the the chat but i afraid the ADMIN go with the buyer side because he uploaded fake screenshot, what can i do more to proof i`m not received the money ?

Nikfon has no trades before and his account created from one day i have +70 trades account older than one year

Email Payeer support and ask for an audition on your account, let localbitcoin support take a look at it.
They have to refund you the money unless some lines of their ToS say you have a " let's say 48hs " window to upload something
to counter his accusation.

Only deal with those on localbitcoins with good reviews and if you can you can meet them locally with a friend and do the deal face to face if identity isn't a problem for you.

That’s the problem brother. We are making the transaction here’s on bitcoin so that we can have it done without any notice and attention of the world. Local bitcoin anyway take care of trades pretty good way. I think it will be matter of time when everything will be resolved for this guy.

Also that would be ridiculous to go and meet people without knowing with whom you are dealing with. I mean just imagine the world is t that good to have so many good people out there. Also your friend must be strong enough, lols otherwise he might run away. Haha. Seriously one must do such trades but with very very extra precaution and within public place, probably very crowded. ;-)

That's what localbitcoins escrow is designed for. It's supposed to deal with these situations.

Don't panic because localbitcoins support will definitely not just take the guy's word for it. They've probably seen countless amounts of doctored screenshots to fall for this, you just need to provide them with your proof.

As patatas said deal with people with good rep only.

Never trust anybody online especially with a newly created account. I assume that you are already aware of this scammy things. You should not go first or use an escrow for a fair deal. Just tell them the story, i know they are good enough to notice if who is telling the truth and the liar.

If you see this type of behaviour you should first present your side of the story. The admin of your trade will not listen to just one party, rather have both parties present their case. I'm sure that if you are willing to prove your case, the admin will believe you instead of a 0 trade newbie.

Don't panic too much, because these things do happen once in a while.

In future, don't forget to check people's rep before trading with them. Don't trade with anyone with under 10 trades.

Send proof in your convo with the moderator, say that the screenshot is faked.

They will at least consider going with your side of the story because of the fact that they have probably done this all before. If you don't respond then obviously your chances of getting your money back is minimal.

But if you do respond, then the chances are quite high.
What does that even mean ? lol
Had you been on localbitcoins for a long time, you would know people with a minimum number of trades and trust are always preferred over members with 0 trades and the account being a day old.Op will definitely get their money back if they claim the screen shot is faked. And on top of all that I'm pretty sure localbitcoins would know if the screenshot is faked.

First rule of localbitcoins : Trade with users only with enough positive reputation and a history of 100+ trades at least.

How can you not verify that the amount is credited into your account ? Did you release the escrow ? Or he has just disputed the trade and money is still with localbitcoins ? If he has faked the screen shot, don't worry they will not fall for it.Considering he has 0 trades, the decision will be in your favour.

I am not wondering about scammers at localbitcoins, as we can see members here selling their localbitcoins accounts with high ranks here in forum. They also should get red tags.

Yeah sure i will post the result I uploaded screenshots to LBC support and i get a confirmation from payeer support that no transactions has been done i hope it`s enough
That should be enough, a confirmation from payeer itself is a hard evidence Smiley
The admins at LBC are professional and they have handled hundreds of disputes, and your case isn't the first one they've handled.
The buyer won't have enough evidence that they've sent money to you and probably gonna get warned or banned from LBC

I can't speak from personal experience, since I've never actually had a trade dispute myself, but I've spoken with several traders in the past who stand by Localbitcoins dispute settlement as one of the best. From what I understand, the person who sent the money has to prove that he sent it, and I can tell you now, that the screenshot is not enough (and if he's faked it, he'll be found out).

Traders with 0 trades and feedback also will be a red flag for their dispute team, but I have to say you took a big risk by taking his trade with Payoneer (especially when selling). Never fall for high rates!

LCB is a very decent platform, but you have to stick to the standard "rules" ie. find reputable ones with significant histories. Find a few trusted traders and stick to them, even if their prices don't tend to be the best (what's a few dollars when you trust them right?).

Let us know the outcome, I'm sure you'll come out okay.

Yeah sure i will post the result I uploaded screenshots to LBC support and i get a confirmation from payeer support that no transactions has been done i hope it`s enough

You can just send pictures of your balance and your history balance of your Payeer account.

The same happened to me on my bank account, only that i provided some screenshots of my bank balance and they released to me the funds in less than 24 hours.

It is a hassle to hand a dispute on lbc, but the support is always going to protect the buyer, no matter what.

Sometimes if you are the seller, then you need to have good proofs in order to protect yourself against the disputes, because it is difficult to win one.
