Buy some real storage like trezor which is one of the best hardware wallet as of now and there is a lot of serious investors who invested in bitcoin and store it on trezor but the if you want to be more secured then you should divide it into different hardware wallets like buying some ledger hardware wallet so you can have at least two storage for your serious bitcoin investment.

For long term storage, definitely. If your node is connected to the internet, your coins could be lost if your keys become compromised through malware. So, if your coins are kept offline, a malicious program wouldn't be able to transmit the private keys back to the hacker.

It's pretty inconvenient to take coins out of cold storage for day-to-day spending, though, so it makes sense to keep a desktop wallet (like Electrum) for regular usage. Just keep minimal coins in it (just in case) and use encryption and/or 2FA.

Use a paper wallet, my friend. Go to http://bitaddress.org, move your mouse around for a few seconds. Then click "bulk wallet" and generate as many addresses as you like. Then print/write them on paper and you have your own public/private keys to send Bitcoin to safely.

Why not you try the Trezor or Ledger hardware wallet, Ideal for storing long-term bitcoins and very safe Grin

If you want the cheapest way to store your coins then then https://www.bitaddress.org is the answer to your problem.

You can also download the offline version https://github.com/pointbiz/bitaddress.org and use that on an offline computer to generate an address for cold storage.

Go for hardware wallet, it is easy to use and safe. Two popular brands (Ledger and Trezor) have been mentioned above.

for the reason that bitcoin hardware is a offline wallet so it safe or safer than the other online wallet because it is offline theres no way they could access it it is invulnerable when it comes in hacking and youre the only one that could one access it in your hardware butthe thing is it can be broke.

Trezor's backup consists of 24 seed words (+ passphrases for increased security) that you need to write down and safely store as a backup. That's all you need to restore your wallet to a new Trezor or software wallets with Trezor import support (eg. Electrum).

I have no experience with Ledger, but I assume it's not much different.

Electrum is great and perfectly suitable for cold storage. Not only can you back up an encrypted copy of the wallet and take it offline, but you also have additional safety, since you can keep a copy of your seed written down on paper in a safe place (perhaps a safety deposit box, or buried in your back yard Tongue

). Paper wallets are okay, too, but you need to be very careful to plan for contingencies if one copy gets destroyed. Consider laminating them and keeping multiple copies if you go that route.

You already had the offline wallet that I'm about to suggest, electrum is what almost everyone prefer here. And I have some funds there probably 1 bitcoin and I don't have any plans on using them that's why you are good to go with electrum and there's no need to worry about it because it's one of the safest offline/desktop wallet ever.
