Though I am a student, I think I am already doing this. I earn and get paid in BTC in joining signature campaigns and other services that I think is being run by specific companies.
It is great having btc as salary when prices are high and I think that is logically practical and many users are getting sad when prices suddenlys drops and their rates are being took off and becomes smaller. It is better to set a USD priced rates than BTC I guess so that it is fixed.

Well, its very good because you can earn bitcoin or money when you still student. I am not lucky like you who know this bitcoin world earlier because i am bit late to invest and also learn regarding bitcoin. I am so regret but i can not do anything.

A company did an interesting social media experiment on people's acceptance of cryptocurrency as a method of payment for salary.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vcGUeDlnLU&t=30s

Looks as though it could possibly have been staged by the company (I don't think so??), but the results seemed similar to what I would expect if it was genuine. And I think it is actually a clever way of promoting their token sale, more potential to go viral than other promotional videos I've seen. Anyway, personally I think I would be happy to take cryptocurrency as at least part payment for salary, and depending on circumstances, the whole amount.
True, if this would be applicable for some campanies this is a good advertising for bitcoin too.. But as of the moment while there is no clear status of the government on the usage of bitcoin in daily transactions i dont think this will be beneficial to all. Many people has not yet been introduce of what is bitcoin in the first place., Some might find fiat money something that they are use of holding physically might be preferrable over it's use than that of bitcoin. In the future if there is a clear case of the government over bitcoin and everyone understand what it is then i think this is very convenient and relevant to all.

well I believe it's better to pay part of the salary in bitcoin, not the whole one. Because otherwise people are forced to immediately exchange their bitcoin to fiat, as you can't really spend bitcoin in daily life. That is forcing the price down eventually.

Possibly in the event that I as of now have enough cash for my day by day needs in light of the fact that In the event that I my pay now is being paid by bitcoin it will wind up unpredictable so I dont need to spend it since I will simply be sparing it and will simply change over it when the esteem increases.Specially when the esteem drop down I will never spend it and will simply hold it as much as I can.

I think it is not that easy that Bitcoin Will be used to pay salaries by many companies. It depend , if in campaign signature , yes why not, we grab that chance of having Bitcoin. But in our regular job, I do not think that it is possible, because Bitcoin price is flactuating, it goes  UP and down. It takes time also to wait for the good price to sell it or exchange to local currencies. If we get Bitcoin salary, maybe that time , we already gonna use it in all kinds of payments regardless that local currency.

Yes, I am very willing to be paid by bitcoins but just a part of it because not all merchants here in my country accept it and I can't spend it for my daily basic needs. Bitcoin is still a very young digital currency and government can't deduct tax from it so it's one of the good advantage of having my salary paid in bitcoins.

It is a bit hard because bitcoin.is volatile meaning the value is not fixed . it will affect the amount.of salary of one person. eepecially if it will decrease after you have recieved you salary. I think it is better to convert it to cash first.
So far, bitcoin is not that much acceptable by so many people that we should go for something like this. We can do that but only when the governments take such constructive steps which can then result in the legalization of the bitcoin and that the ones who are willing to pay their employees a salary in the form of the bitcoins have this guarantee that they are authorizing to do so.

Because of big volatility of BTC such variant will suit almost to nobody.
When BTC will has low price - employees will be unhappy, when BTC will has high price - workers (business owners) will be sorry to pay a lot of money.

If the price of BTC is stable, I am willing to accept BTC's salary!

Otherwise, my salary will be lost, and no one is willing to admit the risk!

Nice experiment , only people can see the future will accept the crypto currency , smart people love crypto currency , only some ordinary guy still not believe in cryptocurrency , but in one condition , the company which paying salary with crypto currency will not pay the salary with their own selfmade crypto currency , must pay in top 10 altcoins

Its must be very nice if we doing our job and paid with bitcoin. Bitcoin is very liquid, so if we want to buy anything we need, we can selling our bitcoin and convert it to fiat for daily spend. Rest of it, will hold it as investment

It is not reasonable to use cryptocurrency to pay salaries. At this stage, cryptocurrency is a risky investment product, but salary needs to be stable.

Thanks but no thanks. I would like my salary paid in fiat and then if I want to invest in crypto I will buy it myself. Have you seen the latest episode of Silicon Valley? It's hilarious how many times Bitcoin was not profitable to mine in a day!  Grin

People in signature campaigns will know, getting paid in crypto is not all it's cracked up to be. The coins you get paid in a week can either be up 30% or down 30% in any given week. Lately it's been down trending, so that $100/week or whatever often turns out to be far less than what you think.

No way would I do that with a huge sum of money that I relied on.

I think we still have a ways to go before people in our current generation take cryptocurrency as a form of salary when most people are still trying to grasp what a bitcoin is and how it works. The younger generation will definitely be more likely to accept this.

I dont think I will embrace it. To me salary has to be in fiat. Easier to use and to be taxed with stable value. Because most people has to pay their monthly debt and it wont be wise to do when the price drops as of now.
Crypto as investment is still the best choice to me personally
