Hi philipma1957,

50 Cards with 80x40x0,4mm or 100x60x0,4mm (single side) depending on availabilty  ~ 150$
50 Cards to make manual a hole in one corner per card, depending on time  ~ 60$
50 Cards marking a individual text (single side) ~ 50$
Shipping depending on your destination ~25-50$

If you can drill the holes per card by your own, that reduce the cost a little bit.
this is a rough estimate.

It sounds you will save your seed words on that cards.

another idea would be, I laser all the cards with the same matrix / table.
a line with letters and the possibility with a hammer and center punch to mark the letters in four lines under the letters.
anyone can do this by themselves, i can also send hammer and center punch.
Then you do not need to tell me your secret seed words Wink

That Matrix / Table as a short excample and than you can mark your letters on the cards by your own with a hammer and punch

Willi

You can really use stainless steel / V2A that material has no corrosion and cost not so much.
That cards are business cards that can marked /graved with a laser and you can write a really small size text. Here are a example for that cards.

Best regards,
Willi

How much for 50 cards all with a hole punched in one corner

first card has:

One

next 49 cards have 4 letters each

The artist Klimt used platinum in his artworks to simulate silver given silver tarnishes over time.  Might make for a very expensive back up.

I just remembered I have a few hundred of these small 999FS tablets of pure silver laying around. look at the size and let me know how small you can engrave. Its okay if you have to use a 45x loop to read. It would make it all the more fun to read.  Grin  25mmx45mmx2mm

Can you make something like this but on thinner sheets of metal or precious metals?
This is not a problem on thinner stainless steel. Copper is impossible to process with my laser. Brass and Aluminum works, too. What material specifically did you have in mind?

Best regards,
Willi

I would have never seen this response, if i didn't search it out.

The oldest known book in existence is made with gold pages (500BC time frame), silver ones exist as well from the same time period, such as King Darius's tomb. This doesn't included clay tablets. With that said I'm looking for an epic way to store public addresses for long periods of time. Engraving them into silver sheets might be a great way to do it and make a treasure in and of itself. We can call it "The Book of Keys"

I can't use steel or anything that rust or corrodes easily, especially in humid wet environments or submerged under water for long periods of time. We all know how often we lose items in "boating" accidents in the Caribbean haha! I would like to know the size of any micro engraving you can produce. List will be of thousands of different denominations of physical bitcoins/ altcoins public addresses. Probably should include the bitcoin whitepaper as well.

I have piles of silver spoons and forks just laying around. I can have them made into small sheets of metal for engraving. Similarly to the pictures provided. Would also need holes drilled to hold the pages together with "D" rings. So the purity of the sheets will be anywhere from .800 - .950 purity of Silver.

Happy birthday, first Bitcoin block.
Flawless timing, and I like this a lot, looks really cool.

10x10 cm seems a little bit tiny for putting it up on display, still debating if I should get one or not.

Is it possible to create a bigger 15x15 or maybe even 20x20 version?
I would want one, given still reasonably priced and as a limited edition (maybe 21?).
If you add a personal touch / design, this could sell quite well here. Just my guess and thoughts.
Maybe some other collectors agree / have other suggestions?

sorry can only make 100x100 mm. have at the moment only 100x100 plates.
Will take a look to get 150er

Personal design with your own text is no problem PM me for a private offer.

yesterday a sold all my 10 plates what i have in stock, now i have 100x100x4mm for $37 in stock or i hope i get the 6mm ones back in 1-2 week.

Best regards,
Willi

UPDATE:

my supplier has max. 120x120x6mm
Is this an option, then I would order them

Unfortunately my fiber laser can only 100x100mm

the funny thing about this address is how some block explorers do not show the initial 50 BTC

for example, mempool.space and blockstream shows its balance as ‎18.55982773 BTC while btc.com, blockchair and blockchain.com shows it as 68.56982773 BTC
