This amazing wallet arrived yesterday. It is massive, does look amazing and must be seen (and held) in person to be able to fully appreciate it.
Big shoutout to Sentinel for this piece of art.

I put a few items, including a Kialara bar in the picture to give an idea of the true dimensions of this thing.

Hey Kryptowerk,

Glad you finally got it in hand! Thanks for the review and feedback, it’s much appreciated.

Thanks guys!  Grin

I'll have more DIY's available towards the end of September. Just waiting on the new order of glass to arrive.

I paired mine to an opendime so I could display it without the worry of the funds being taken if this item ever gets stolen or confiscated. I put the public qr code and  hologram in the same location as sentinel just with no private key behind mine.  Thanks again for offering such an awesome item to this community

Pleasantly surprised
Almost 13oz of goodness. Cheesy
Also happy with the presentation... you didn't just wrap them in newspaper and call it a day. Smiley

Received the Sentinel Wallet today. Thank you! I cannot believe how heavy it is, and it’s bigger than I thought based on the photos. Congratulations on this finished product, it’s quite something to hold in your hands.
Good luck with the rest of your sales!

Ok, thank you to everyone that commented for the feedback. It seems there is a common consensus about the security of the keys. I know my intentions are good and I took the right precautions but I also understand the concerns from a buyers point of view.

I wanted to offer a solution and determine if this is something people would be interested in so please reply back to let me know.

I can modify these to sell as a DIY. This would entail me removing the back piece of glass, removing the tamper proof hologram/private key, and removing the public address QR code. I would then sell it like that but include a piece of glass for the back as well as a fresh hologram sticker. The buyer would then be able to generate their own keys and attach the glass.

Again, please let me know if this is something that would be of better interest.

Thanks

Decentralized Internet
I think with being new here - you may be hard pressed to find many that will be your asking price while being required to trust your key generation process. There really should be no need to have makers generating keys unless they are a known and well trusted community member.

A private key should not just be accepted as safe when you have no idea who is generating the keys.

+1 The ideal is to explain the PK generation process, not wait to be asked. What paper did you use to print the PK? Any particular weight?

Bitcoin needs you!
No argument- looks great  Smiley
But I will echo Mopar’s sentiment re: key generation.
Any more information on production process would also be handy. Thanks  Smiley

Very cool and unique piece. I am interested. However I’m curious why you created a new account for this, what is your regular forum user name? Can you provide details on how keys were generated, more information in that realm would bet very helpful and appreciated!

Edit: I see they are sold unfunded right, so wouldn’t that make these DIY?

Hello ChiBitCTy,

Thanks for the comment. I created a new account for this because I wanted it to be solely for the business side of this and the name to be that of the company so it would be easy to find and recognize. My regular account is Snowlynx which was created in February of 2021. I have done deals with that account in the collectibles section.

As for the key generation, I purchased a brand new computer that I run open source code on locally (not connected to internet and will not be) and then that computer is plugged directly into a new printer with no WiFi or Bluetooth capability. The keys are printed only once and the private key is placed under the tamper proof hologram immediately. There are no other instances of the private key anywhere.

Also, for the diy aspect yes you fund it yourself if you want too but no it is not diy in the sense you generate your own keys.
