Samsung Galaxy J5 is better for me
I think both are pretty good, depending on the usage and interest of each user

Pretty good for the price. J7 is obviously better but a bit more expensive as well.
I really don't think j series any phone is good.
Samsung Galaxy S9 will cost you $800. Samsung S series costs are $500 to $800.
Samsung J series are good when you can buy them for sell than $300.

Samsung phones are very good but the problem is the battery. It doesnt last long after charging especially when you on data
I have used Galaxy J7 for some time it is a good phone have good features and it is also at a very affordable price. After using it for some time I changed it because I was wanting a phone with bigger Features so I purchased iPhone X after that as I love iPhone the most.
