It doesn't really matter what innovations Samsung comes up with for their mining software, the pace of difficulty seems to outpace the improvements in hash rate, so there will be no benefit in terms of throughput. The only thing this will do is change the game for the hashing race, so in reality there's no net gain, other than increased lining for Samsung's pocket.
Surprised they haven't jumped on the bandwagon and produce a blockchain phone like all the other tech savvy startups these days. Wish they would focus on improving the software of their mobile devices than sticking their nose into yet another business.

Bitcoin must be happy news for users that Samsung has actually entered the Crypto and received similar identities of their company and they have to submit it to other companies.
That mining chips from Samsung will cost twice as much as the rest, will be medium quality and maybe will explode. I don't trust Samsung.

Sadly, scaling is our problem. Improvements will attract more people and will increase workload of block chain proportionally.

Since Samsung has now entered the cryptocurrency world I think the other competitor in smartphone technology will also enter in cryptocurrency world, because almost worldwide are now embracing cryptocurrency. Everyone are now looking for a better and excellent mining software.
It is certainly a very god news for bitcoin users. This will not only push up the prices but will encourage other companies to take the same route.
I know they are planning to make mining hardware that is specially designed only for cryptocurrency mining (preferably altcoin mining) for cryptocurrency miners stop buying graphics card (which is originally designed for gaming) so that the price of GPUs will be back to normal again and it will be good news for people who wants to build a gaming pc.

This is great for each and every one that Samsung has now entered the cryptocurrency world. I am glad that Samsung did this because this is a good decision for them, I am pretty much sure that Samsung will be more strong and profitable company now. For the bitcoin users this will surely affect a lot, because this will surely increase the capability of all crypto currency. With this also the numbers of users will also increase because for sure more people will be attracted with crypto currency because of its additional capability. Not really as their manufacturer is from China either.These big corporations are trying to centralize cryptocurrency and you can bet they will try to obsolete the currencies that are not in their control even if slowly.

It's not a good idea to mine in phone or tablet because we know they have big percentage their phone overheat because mining for the computer only and even this devuce needs support like ventilation. But in this news if samsung support crypto it is good to price.
