That's great news for an alt! Interaction between a normal phone user and crypto will increase with this partnership. I hope other phone manufacturers follow Gemini's and Samsung's example. Integration in phones and direct usage equal key factors.

This would be very helpful for newcomers, we still don't have an easy solution how to buy cryptocurrencies, now when they have pre-installed app in their phone, it will be very easy to buy their first Bitcoins.
You can't generalized that will be very helpful for the newcomers as it will be only available for Samsung flagship phone. That means another brand can't do the same as what did by Samsung and gemini.
It will very help full to attract the new adopters from the Samsung users.

Its a race to compete all other exchanges to gain clients, not a race of cryptocurrency adoption. Not everyone is really comfortable in trading while on mobile phones ance certainly not using Samsung phones as well. Binance chose brave browser for its also a popular browser these days.

But for someone who is concern more about privacy and comfort. I think Samsung picked the wrong partner here. Ift might surprise us all if you wait awhile who will partner up with Huawei.

There are so many Samsung phones sold around the world at least a small percentage of that is going to be influenced to use this new wallet or trading that is developed by Samsung. This is a great move by Gemini having a partnership with a giant smartphone company as the development continues this could be popular because cashless transactions are also becoming a big trend around the world. In my opinion. it was not really a bad picked by Samsung Gemini is not really a bad exchange at all and might have potential. Considering Huawei a lot of people are already off in the brand since there are conflicts with google it could still be a great wallet if develop in a Huawei phone.

Maybe so. Samsung is gathering partners of different businesses such as a network TRON and then an exchange like Gemini. It's not an exchange that most of us here in the forum are using actually but they care to partner up.  Any phone that has the capability to install wallets can be used for cashless transactions though, its where we are going for sure so good for Samsung.  Huawei seem not partnering yet with blockchain companies but Chinese has its own Huawei Store and this Huawei Store can even be installed on a Samsung phone, that big advantage.

This partnership with Gemini for the Samsung and for Gemini both will enjoy their demand in the economy. But the Gemini will get more popularity as the biggest brand Samsung directly offer it's platform for the Gemini.

Studio1one it's true, Samsung is integrating crypto-currencies for some time already, and now they
partnered with exchange, it would be interesting what will be the next. When giant like Samsung is
doing this, we know we are a step closer to mass adoption.
Apple is the biggest, I would like to see them joining too, but I believe there are others who will
join before Apple. And when Apple joins in one moment it will be huge, like everything else they are
doing!

Yea because of samsung and its partnerships we will see a huge amount of new users flowing into crypto space. Which would in turn increase the market cap of crypto space.

This is most certainly a huge development and one that will help push the adoption of crypto to the mainstream sector. Samsung already has a huge market and customer base and this makes it absolutely easy to have more viewers and users getting to know about cryptocurrency and possibly getting them on board or interested in what crypto has to offer. This partnership could also mean samsung getting to adopt crypto payments.
Definitely this shows that afootion is just coming up at a global scale but before we go into a euphoric state regarding this news we should also see stats regarding samsungs crypto wallet which is coming in its topline smartphones since last 2-3 years so what is the impact of it? Any positive impact on market or user growth? I think their wallet usage and active transactions were very very low, not many users showed interest in using their wallet this is perhaps because people do not want their portfolio to get lost with their phones and also people like to have private wallet with private keys.

GEMINI developers are really great...
We all know that Samsung is a top brand and because of the good reputation they have it is definitely very difficult to work together with Samsung, I smell the mass adoption of cryptocurrencies will occur in the next few decades. Grin

HTC come with the first crypto friendly mobilephone, but they did one mistake, they focused on very small group of crypto enthusiasts, but Samsung will offer it to everyone!  Smiley
That's one of the many mistakes of HTC, I consider HTC to have a bad marketing strategy that makes them fall behind their competitors. Having a phone that has a part of cryptocurrency is one of a good features for us, cryptocurrency users.

Companies are trying new things to put in their technology and it is good for Samsung to offer a part of cryptocurrency in their phones. It's a good move in Gemini partnering up with Samsung because Samsung is one of the biggest phone companies existing today. Users do have different choices about their exchange bias and this adaptation I think is to spread awareness and gain new users to download their app via Samsung galaxy store.

So Samsung has integrated Gemini mobile app into Galaxy wallet, or what? How is this different from Gemini wallet&exchange installed on my iPhone? The key question is  which from two mobile OSes  is  more security to use when dealing with cryptocurrency  and not in choosing between integrated or standallone app. I'm still preferring to have the latter on my iPhone.

Good point, I think for us crypto users, regardless of what phone we are using, security comes first, specially that if our phone are always online, chances are, hackers can steal our crypto's without us knowing.

This is just good as a hype, for Samsung and Gemini though, so I don't see any difference at all. Just go to Gemini app and then trade, regardless if you are a Samsung or Iphone user here.

Thats great news! And this is another recent Samsung initiative in the field of cryptocurrencies. Last month, Tron dapps arrived in the Samsung App Store: https://cointelegraph.com/news/tron-dapps-arrive-on-the-samsung-app-store
It's very good that giants like Samsung are seriously interested in blockchain-based projects. I hope that other companies follow in the footsteps of Samsung. Thanks to this, the entire cryptographic environment will benefit. Im sure that pioneering companies like Samsung will also benefit a lot. Win-win situation.

Looks like Samsung is going all in on blockchain tech 'coz they have integrated lot of crypto projects in their flagship phone.

Now eagerly waiting for apple to announce something similar lol.
