It really isn't.I think it is a great idea, even if the sock puppets rule the show around here.
The poll is useless because nothing prevents you from creating accounts just to vote on it (e.g. high percentage of under 10%).I voted 80% because I feel more can be done to communicate better with the community. The lack of communication and transparency is one of the contributing factors causing all the confusion.
This seems reasonable albeit I'd argue that this 'lack of transparency' is not a valid argument. I'm guessing most of their work is transparent (open source), you just might be looking at the wrong places. Communication is being worked on (e.g. they've created a website that has useful information Bitcoin Core).
