If I was Satoshi I would be hiding.

Satoshi is RuPaul. I have proof. Have you ever seen them appear together anywhere? I thought not! They can't because they are the same person. Obviously Satoshi must be RuPaul.

why does everyone want to expose satoshi so much? if you respect him for being the founder of bitcoins, of which you probably have benefited from financially, why would you go against his obvious wish.. and try to expose him?

i for one wouldn't waste my time on trying to reveal him. i mean, if you were even successful, what would be the point? how would that change anything for the better?

satoshi, in the end, had a vested interest in being the founder of bitcoin... but that doesn't matter, i appreciate his contributions. and by honoring that, i think everybody should just lay off.

we can all agree that there is a >0% chance that one/all three members of AHA are Satoshi. If Satoshi did not want to be identified he wouldn't narrow things down by using such a name that implies he is of some Japanese descent.

I once worked on a project with two others and although the details of the project are relevant, we had our individual alias's and a 3-in-one name that we all created. We pretty much wanted a mysterious public figure at the top to create an allure type. It worked very well.

Between the 4 of them, 1 has 50% of the coins, (The head figure), the rest split up evenly a smaller portion, the other 50% of the combined total. This allows the three to be major influences and spokespeople for the currency yet maintain a much higher power then it appears. The odds of this is still very slim, but seems like something I would have done to gain more out of the whole technology/currency. They are all smart enough that we can assume they can pull this off. 1, 2, or all 3 of them are more likely to be Satoshi then anyone else on the planet in my opinion. Yet these chances may still be <1%, 0.01%, etc.

Who cares though, I think the anonymity is best for the currency to succeed.

Why was my comment deleted from this thread? I didn't identify who Satoshi was at all, all I did was give him helpful info in his quest...

Not a proof, but if you play with ''satoshi nakamoto'' letters you arrive at ''so a man took a shit'' phrase (discovered by someone in another thread).

This phrase matches Bush's mentality.

I think at this point, even if the real Satoshi came forward with proof of who they are no one would believe them.

All he has to do is sign a message using the private key for 1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa.
Or someone who somehow stole his private key.

I agree, we would never believe him.
And that's good, it means his plan is working.
Assuming this was his plan.

The only reason to identify Satoshi is to use his humanity to discredit Bitcoin.

It will be like claiming that the Pthagorean theorum is not sound because Pthagoreus slept with whores.

Yeah, well, he was only an asshole if he paid in fiat, and everyone knows Pythagoras used bitcoin. Err... Buttcoin... umm... something like that anyways... Cheesy
