its not like he is terrorist or something., he is inventor of btc, yes, but what harm have btc done to society ?

Not "caught" but, if anything, "identified". SN is not a criminal (as far as I know).

Don't know anything about an author of this blog post, but smells like a cheap click-bait. He took on an interesting topic of stylometry, but decided to spice it up for extra views with the classic "my anonymous source tells me" bullshit. How likely it is for some irrelevant, small-time entrepreneur/blogger to have a source in DHS? Exactly.

Anyhow, even if the author made this shit up, if the 'stylometry' is an efficient tool, then NSA tracking SN is a perfectly feasible scenario. But even if, they can't reveal his identity, unless he's accused of committing a crime (or unless someone leaks the info).
