Hello SkRRJyTC,

Early on in the tournament, MrRoll doubled up against you with a ridiculously bad hand. After that you cursed him out in the chat and folded every hand to have Crosby eliminated first. You have accused MrRoll in that tournament of colluding with Crosby and he replied: “No, I just don't want you to make the money after scolding me like that”. You replied: “I will never play against you again”.

The main question here is whether this play (folding to a sit-out player) is collusive or not. After reviewing the matter internally, we feel this play was not collusive given the situation described above. He targeted you to get you out first and adjusted his play, and could have achieved this with anyone sitting out.

You adjusted your strategy to get Crosby out first and take 2nd place. You adjusted your strategy solely to get Crosby out before getting eliminated yourself. To us this is all perfectly legal play, as we can’t force a player to raise into an a sit-out, just like we can’t force a player to play his good hands like AJ and 99 instead of folding them because they believe to have a better chance of making the money.

For collusion, 2 players have to be working together to gain an unfair advantage over an opponent, so the question is whether Crosby and MrRoll were colluding, and our opinion and conclusion is that they were not.

We hope this satisfies any similar questions and/or concerns.

Thanks and good luck at the tables!

I just saw this post, but I want to point out that this strategy doesn't necessarily mean that the player wanted the afk player to make the money.  If first was a larger prize than second and you were continually folding your hands and giving him chips, he is able to sustain that dynamic by folding to the afk player.  He is able to continue collecting your chips virtually guaranteeing him first place.

I would say this is more likely than the possibility that he was blatantly cheating and wanted his friend or confederate to win.

The first prize was larger than the second prize and I do understand that beating an afk is easier than beating a real player, but at the time he has 10k chips or something and both the afk and I were getting forced all in by the 150 blinds.  He was going to win first either way.

Dont play with MrRoll.

Since there were 3 players remaining in the 2.5K and the top 2 got paid, I folded most of my hands knowing I hand more money than the afk at our table.

MrRoll took our blinds for 15 minutes or so before folding to the afk when he was forced all in.  I dont know why MrRoll wanted the afk player to be payed.  Perhaps the afk payed him?  Perhaps the afk was his account?

He clearly acted against self interest in favor of an afk, is this collusion or something else?
We will investigate.

Have there been any findings?

Nice cash games going on!

Cash game action is finally picking up, multi-tables/stakes 1-2 up to 25/50 every day...

Still, usually just 3-4 handed action! Hopefully we can get some full tables going soon, no reason not to, especially with the new hourly 500's and turbos.

That was a default message by our software, we recently activated the cash points system which people will be able to cash out for prizes and real chips in the future.

We will be changing the default message on our software so that it does not throw this out to all our customers...

Sorry for the spam!

The good news is that the points are activated Smiley.

To stop the ever returning questions from players about chopping prize pools, disabling others from late registration, we have decided to set the minimum number of entrants for all our tournaments to 3 players.

Besides that, due to the many request from our players, we have brought back the Hourly 500 Gtd, with a buyin of s110.

Good luck at the tables!

We are looking into this issue.

We have been doing some upgrades on the server and this seemed to have knocked out our player panel page.

Please allow us some time and we will update you all when this is fixed.

Thank you.
