Please don't take it otherwise, but I think we should stop this hype and let him/her/them stay as he/she/they want to.

It is worth noting that in the years that have passed since the appearance of Bitcoin, several people have already claimed that they are Satoshi Nakamoto. There are even more versions in the press.

I dont think it was The Satoshi. Maybe anyone who got control of the account.
satoshi only creates bitcoin and so on has been left to his team. but right now I don't know whether the satoshi team controls all this or not. yes maybe the satoshi disappeared from the crypto world because satoshi didn't want to be searched for and asked by many people.
For many years we've been longing to see the founder of Bitcoin, who have brought this extraordinary technology that creates a different approach into bringing quality of living. This identity of this person has been very puzzling. However, if Satoshi prefers not to reveal himself, we must respect his decision and value his privacy. We should thank him instead of this innovation that he offered, and do our part to continually support it inorder for it to prosper and survive despite issues and controversies.

Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!

why would satoshi come out this time?

if i were him i would just enjoy the life after all he introduced everything to the crypto users already, developers began exploring and have come up other crypto innovations thru his initial works. it would only create more trouble if he comes out this time and he understood this.

Since his original email address has been hacked for several years all of his other accounts will fair game too. There's zero question this is a load of bilge, as was the Dorian Nakamoto post.

Why would you break several years of silence over that?

Perhaps Craig Wright bought the account (and the Satoshi Twitter account that likes to delete its tweets) to coordinate a publicity stunt for SV...

I wonder what the significance of adding that Brazilian dude as a P2P Foundation friend was... In any case, the whole things reeks of shenanigans and of course none of it has anything to do with Real Satoshi.

Nobody can actually sign a message from an address known (or almost certainly known) to be owned by Satoshi (private keys stored as metadata in the blockchain don't coint). Until this happens, Satoshi isn't back.

The Second Coming of Satoshi Nakamoto has finally occurred...
Several long-term hodlers pointed out that the poster was unlikely to be the “real” Satoshi Nakamoto....

this is the dumbest article that they could have written! started with saying it is satoshi when it obviously is not! and then saying "long term holders" pointed out he is not! what does that even mean? why do you need a long term holder to know whether some random comment posted on the internet doesn't belong to Satoshi? doesn't matter what account it comes from and where it is posted. if Satoshi wanted to come out, he wouldn't come out on a centralized platform that has been hacked. he would come out using decentralized methods which people can easily verify eg. signing a message from one of his keys.

I hope that day does not come hehehe. Visualize someone signing a message from a private key that holds the billions in bitcoin that can destroy the whole market. He would become a threat.

He won't shows up. But I think we need an improvments on Bitcoin network. And he may not shows up, but he/she still can help in somehow to BTC. We and BTC need a help.

bitcoin is decentralized and because of that it doesn't need some authority figure to "help" with its improvement. in fact one of the main reasons why Satoshi left must be this, he didn't want to be that authority figure whom everyone looks up to instead of using their own judgement and making bitcoin more decentralized.

His account was probably hacked by the US secret service and now that the bitcoin market has crashed, they are going to crash it even more by bringing satoshi to life and hinting he will sell his coins

Many people speculate that its satoshi nakamoto but many people think his account hacked. I am better not speculating anything, i am just hoping market recovery soon

I don't believe anything in what you just posted, it's obvious that Satoshi's account was hacked. There is nothing special about his account, his account is the same with that of other users using the platform and if their accounts can get hacked then why won't Satoshi's account be able to get hacked

Litecoin has a Charlie Lee, and Bitcoin has a Satoshi Nakamoto. The identity of Satoshi does not need to be known for Bitcoin to succeed. I wouldn't even want to know.

He won't shows up. But I think we need an improvments on Bitcoin network.
Bitcoin has already been improved, and is still being improved as we speak; the next release of the Core client will bring even more features to the table allowing Bitcoin's throughput to increase. Also don't forget the ongoing development of LN that no one here seems to care about. If you only focus on price action, you'll keep missing out on developments.

We and BTC need a help.
Who is we? You? Bitcoin doesn't need help. People need it, mainly to understand that developments take time, and that Bitcoin isn't a centralized platform you can scale endlessly on-chain.

we should be concentrating on multiple groups and teams using consensus. not thinking about centralising code decisions
That doesn't work. At some point you'll see the groups and teams you are referring to run into a wide variety of disagreements on various levels, to later on split and cause more harm than good.

Bitcoin's current team of developers have done an exceptional job making sure development goes the right way, and that consistently. Admittedly, it's a bit too conservative in my book, but things are as they are.

Satoshi, with all due respect, has no role in this industry anymore aside from being a massive whale due to the coins we assume he owns. It's better like this. People should stop caring about him.

There are always big plans and usually we would never know about any of them. The big powers always makes big plans and small fishes like us always have to eat what they give us. If he made the reappearance now, they are having or doing something right now. But i would never think that Mr. Satoshi would come out..

satoshi doesnt need to turn up

bitcoin already has a centralsied power house making decisions on the upgrades. and if satoshi did turn up firstly that power house wont just give him back the reigns. secondly we dont need on person or one group. we should be concentrating on multiple groups and teams using consensus. not thinking about centralising code decisions

hense why is satoshi was to just genuinely him write a message. to write a actual meaningful message.

this drama is just some hacker or disgruntled ex employee of p2pf who wrote a message

My first question is, what was Satoshi's last post in P2P Foundation's forum before posting the word nour? Was it I am not Dorian?

Also, how high is the possibility that his account in the P2P Foundation is hacked?

The Second Coming of Satoshi Nakamoto has finally occurred, and the result is…. unexpected. In a twist worthy of Douglas Adams, the creator of Bitcoin logged into to an obscure web forum to leave a cryptic, one-word epistle:

“Nour”

Several long-term hodlers pointed out that the poster was unlikely to be the “real” Satoshi Nakamoto, whose email provider was hacked in 2014. But those Grinches didn’t stop the internet from donning its tinfoil hat to decipher the secret message.

Some noticed that it’s kind of like “Noor,” which is Arabic for “light” and true believers in Litecoin forums wondered if perhaps the Creator had forgiven Charlie Lee. Others wondered if Satoshi might be plugging the Lightning Network, the elaborate scaling solution built on the software designs of Rube Goldberg.

It’s also possible that Satoshi is offering a clue to his shocking true identity: in which case, Nouriel Roubini – ‘Dr Doom’ – has been engaged in a double-bluff so cunning, you could brush your teeth with it.

The reclusive Bitcoin creator also took the time to make a friend: a heretofore unknown Brazilian marketing specialist by the name of Wagner Tamanaha.

I know that when Satoshi finally shows up I know there would be a lot of people that would surround him and ask questions.
