I do not think that they would be "tested" all that much, as long as they stay in the league then it is an achievement. I don't know if it's different in the Saudi league or not, but in most leagues at Europe if a team comes from second division to top division, staying there for a few years is an achievement, nobody expects anything else.
Maybe afterwards they may start to ask for more, but even then sometimes they just want to stay. Look at Leeds, they have gone up finally but then went back down, or Watford, goes up and down all the time. So, if it's different in Saudi league then I don't know, but if it is similar to Europe then I can say that all they have to do is stay in the league and do not drop one level below for now.
Being team that has just been promoted and in the future being able to stay in the main division for longer is success because they managed to compete and get comfortable place when starting new challenge by facing other teams that are much stronger than before.
But we don't know whether Al-Qadsiah will be able to survive longer and survive the fierce competition well in the SPL, several teams were previously expected to achieve good results but in reality they failed.
Almost every competition or league will always have several dominant teams that can never be easily beaten, this is threat to every team that is promoted to the main division because if they meet strong team it will definitely only be and it will be difficult to collect points.
If next season Al-Qadsiah is relegated then it is very likely that Nacho will lose his enthusiasm for playing well even though he gets large salary, it could be said that apart from money there are also other factors that make Nacho join Al-Qadsiah and one of them is SPL promotion.
SPL competition will become increasingly fierce, every team is trying to bring in various great European players to be able to create an increasingly sharp and strong game, this is special challenge for every team that has just joined the SPL.
