Al Nassr management must evaluate their squad. It is impossible if they will keep playing like this season. Al Nassr has the money to buy new players, they must try to strengthen their squad. If we look at the stats, Al Nassr already have strong attackers but they have no strong midfielders and defenders. In the next transfer windows, no doubt Al Nassr must try to sign few players to improve the quality of their defense and midfield line. Sure, it will be always not easy to compete for the title although Al Nassr has improved their squad. But the chance should be higher if Al Nassr improves their weakness.

Besides the quality of the coach, the ages of star players in the team can have a big influence. If we look at the squad quality, Al Hilal actually has better players if we consider the ages. Al Hilal star players are in their prime ages (all of them are below 30 years old), but Al Nassr star players look quite old. This can be one of the reasons why it looks quite difficult for Al Nassr to compete with Al Hilal. The physical of younger players must be stronger than older players.

Besides hiring a better coach, I expect Al Nassr will sign younger European players in the next transfer windows.

Sometimes teams can have bad days, even if they are good, I remember a game when one of the teams shot 32 times, 11 on goal, and scored none, and the other team had one shot, one goal and won the game. This isn't really that unlikely and happened quite commonly in the world of football.

This season has indeed been a miserable season for Al Nassr after all their failures, Al Nassr who have spent a lot of money to recruit European star players, but instead they had to experience failure to compete in the Asian Champions League and also SPL this season just because the team contains mostly local Saudi Arabian players, this season Al Hillal was able to continue to dominate Al Nassr and even they did not give a chance for Al Nassr to win even over Al Hillal this season even when victory is in front of their eyes like their last game.

This season Al Hillal managed to win the championship trophy without any tough competition from Al Nassr, but I think there is still a chance for Al Nassr this season to end the season with championship trophy if they can win the final of the King Saudi Cup, but for now of course it is very difficult and requires hard work from Al Nassr to be able to win the championship trophy because the opponent they face is Al Hillal and of course it looks like Al Hillal will again give failure to Al Nassr in the final later.
So far in my opinion, Ronaldo is still better and much better than Mitrovic, at his age now Ronaldo is still able to show extraordinary ability as a world-level attacker.

Hahaha man poor Al Nasr they cant win a single game against al Hilal and more painful for them is how this happen, a tie in a 90+10 minutes from a  penalty is very painful.

Mitrovic ending the season with 27 goals and Cristiano Ronaldo with 33 is really big for the serbian player, what a foward he is.

SPL is complicated and probably not what we expected. Al Hilal are excellent team and cooperative when it comes to competitive race. They have dominated the league right from day one and we just watch Al Nassr who happen to be their preeminent rival pushing themselves harder but still manage to missed out because they failed to win fewer games fixtures. Next season is probably another opportunity for Al Nassr and they're doing their best to hookup with the elevated standards of Al Hilal.

I understand what it is for a club to be more dominant than the others in their domestic leagues, it will always be that club that will win the league and it is the same thing happening in SPL. Al Hilal is more stronger than Al Nassr in the league and that is why you see it that no matter how Ronaldo and his team tries their best, they will end up in second position.

If only Al Nassr can bring more quality players to strengthen the team so that they can be as strong as Al Hilal or even more stronger. Ronaldo is a great player and he keeps on making his club proud by scoring goals and displaying his wonderful performance at this age. Cristiano Ronaldo has done very well for the job he was hired to do, he has scored alot of goals and helped Al nassr many times to win games that we thought they would not be able to win because they were losing but after the goals being scored or assisted by Ronaldo, Al nassr were able to win the games but Al-Hilal has being a better team than Al nassr this season and this is why they are the champions of their league. Consider Al Nassr to be Arsenal this season in the premier league. Arsenal losing the title race is not because they played bad but because Manchester city were just the better team and this is what is happening in the Saudi pro league with Al-Hilal. Next season we might see Al Nassr lift the title but they have to be more determined than how they were this season to achieve that victory.

The title race was main for elite teams that have consistent stellar performance. Frustrating to see Al Nassr not winning their league title again, this time they were really close. Saudi Pro League was entertaining and competitive but the expected club, Al Nassr failed to win after fighting a lengthy path with Al Hilal. Al Nassr missed out on the SPL title because they weren't good enough to compete with Al Hilal that have everything within their possession to ascertain winning.
