They were hoping to beat Al Ain and be in the final match we were usually because Al Hilal is the most successful team in the AFC Champions League. But the result they got in the first leg made Al Hilal far from this goal.
Now the only thing is they can get the Saudi League title.

There is a possibility that we are going to end up with Al Nassr getting that cup, it is not going to be all that easy, but we could still see it happen and I think we should be considering this as something much better in the end.

After all it is at least a cup and I remember him winning a cup last season as well, don't remember the name of it but he did win something there and this year if he wins this as well then it means it would be two cups in two years and that's not too bad. The club just achieved the aim of signing the Portuguese international because they gained publicity and have been competitive in the league. The Saudi Arabian King Cup is the only chance left for Ronaldo to give trophy to Al Nassr fans, after they were eliminated in the Asian Champions League and it is also impossible to win the league trophy at the moment, so I think for now Al Nassr should target the Saudi Arabian King Cup trophy as the only trophy they should get. I personally am quite sure that Al Nassr could have reached the final of the Saudi Arabian King Cup even without Ronaldo, but it was the final that made me a little surprised because I might have to meet Al Hillal who are Currently Unbeaten in the league.
Not too bad for Al Nassr if can win King Cup of Champion for this season, after eliminating from AFC Champion League and little possibility for winning domestic league. But in the semifinal teams left still has Al Hilal as stronger opponent teams for Al Nassr and make them loss opportunity for winning Saudi Super Cup after eliminating in semifinal round. Seems not difficult for Al Nassr reach the final round in King Cup of Championship but if Al Hilal success beating Al Ittihad in semifinal round both team will face each other and Al Hilal still with winning dominance result in this season against Al Nassr. Only one team can beat Al Hilal in this season is Al Ain in AFC Champion League, in domestic league there are not any teams can beating Al Hilal keep unbeaten until playing 28 mathces.
I am very well aware that maybe it will be a different result, but still we will predict based on what they have experienced this season every time they meet Al Hilal.
In this semifinal they will face Al Khaleej, they have a better opportunity, they should be able to end the match with a win and ensure themselves of being in the final. If they are really in the final, then they have to prepare everything, because their chances of facing Al Hilal are very big. They also definitely don't want to be defeated by Al Hilal again for the umpteenth time.
