Yes, I also haven't heard anything that could confirm that their relationship is not good. It's true that currently Benzema hasn't shown anything extraordinary, but don't just blame him because what I see is that their overall performance doesn't show anything good, it would be unwise to only blame himself, even though the club itself can't show anything very good. Good.
I have said this many times, that no matter how good the players are, they will not be able to move alone, they are a unit that is part of a team, so teamwork is really needed here. If you just blame the players when the club experiences failure, then that is something that is very easy to do. In fact, in my opinion, blaming the coach must be on a strong basis and cannot only be seen from one side.
I once read that the relationship was not good but that was with the old coach of Ittihad FC Nuno Espirito Santos because Nuno wanted the club to buy young players, not players who were quite old like Karim Benzema, It was even reported that Benzema asked his agent to find him another club but slowly everything became good again because there was a change of coach but unfortunately, it did not improve the condition of the team performance which was getting worse, and as the defending champion the performance was very bad because they had suffered six defeats and could only be ranked seventh, of the four clubs belonging to PIF Ittihad FC was the one who performed the bad while three others managed to occupy first to third positions in the standings.

While Al Hilal is getting perfect results in Saudi Arabia and they had good performance and there is a huge gap between them and other people, but it seems they are close to hiring another player and Renan Lodi the player of Marseille is linked to this team.
This 25-year-old player will close around 25 million euros.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Al-Hilal's agreement with Lyon to recruit Renan Lodi has been reached and Renan Lodi will be at Al-Hilal until 2027. It is quite a long contract and the cost is around 20 million euros. I think Al-Hilal is already very good with the depth of their current squad but of course they also want to add other European player options and maybe Renan Lodi could be a solution for that.

Renan Lodi's status is actually a loan but Al-Hilal has a full obligation to buy the clause later. I think that's not a problem for an elite Saudi league club like Al-Hilal and they will definitely be paid if Renan Lodi's performance is so promising.

When Benzema went there at the beginning of the year, I didn't really believe him when he said he didn't go there for the money. This is clear for the money that goes to Saudi Arabia. If he expected a place like France, he was wrong. Culture and Geography are difficult for people who are not used to it. I read that he wanted to leave the team during the break, but I don't think there will be a team that will pay him a transfer fee. I heard that many European players will leave the SPL. It must be a difficult situation.
At least, several other European players are also reportedly uncomfortable settling in Saudi and therefore, several other players such as Henderson, Firminho and several other playersare also rumored to be leaving in this January transfer window . But indeed, about Benzema unprofessional behavior, such as often not coming to training sessions, also made the team end up not liking Benzema methods like that. Because after all, Benzema is the team captain and as such, Benzema should remain professional and not do silly, childish things like that.
One thing is pretty sure Gulf conditions are never been easy for playing soccer specially for the player from UEFA because they have too many difficulties to adjust here with many other problems are also involved in this all but for the sack of money we have many players came here and now having problems but most chances they will complete their contracts then we can have updates about their future with as Saudi League organizers are doing they will surely do something for this all because now their eyes are on 2034 and this is surely going to be achieved as well.

Karim Benzema is surely doing many things which are creating problems for him and his club as well, but currently he is also not going to do anything just wait and watch for the end of his contract and then leave simple option for the all parties and who is coming next it's also not clear with they will try to bring more players for this league and improvement of the quality as well.

I know for sure this is Al Hilal's goal to lock in a stronger defense even though Renan Lodi didn't have an extraordinary performance at Marseille but all that will change if Renan Lodi accepts an offer from Al Hilal, he will definitely become a very reliable defender at Al Hilarious.
€25 million is not a big amount for Al Hilal because this club will continue to look for talented players to strengthen its performance and win titles in the Saudi pro league and wants to dominate several seasons so Al Hilal's current efforts are only to improve performance in the long term.
Maybe lately Al Hilal will only buy defenders because currently Al Hilal's attack line is quite perfect with the presence of Mitrovic and I'm sure Al Hilal is doing this because soon they will face Inter Miami so as the leader of the Saudi pro league Al Hilal is trying to provide the best and even though it is only a friendly match but this will be proof that the Saudi Pro League is a more popular league.

Bezema is clearly behaving in a very unprofesional way, and is very sad seeing this from a 35+ years old player, but we already know surely is because he wants to force a comeback to X team in europe, anyways is a bad behavior for his companions and the whole team including coach.

I don't even expect a player that has spent all his professional football career playing in Europe to come to Saudi Arabia and automatically replicate his performances in Europe even when we've seen players that's quickly adapted to conditions of the league. Player like Cristiano Ronaldo adapted quickly but shouldn't be used as a yardstick to determine the performance of other former European based players. That being said, we must tell ourselves the truth concerning some of the behaviors of Karim Benzema that are not professional enough for a player of his status and calibre. According to some reports in Saudi Arabia, the former France international doesn't report to trainings as much as he's expected to abd that's actually not a good thing

Lately, I rarely follow any developments in news rumors or player transfers. so, I only refer to the sources you said in this thread. if that is true, in other words Neymar's removal for the 2023-24 season will or has already been done. in this way, Al Hilal can still increase the quota of foreign players they bring in. well, we know very well that until now Al Hilal remains firmly at the top of the Saudi Pro League standings. the team squad managed by Jorge Jesus always plays quite impressive matches, it could be said that Mitrovic and his colleagues are in the on fire phase. Basically Al Hilal plays solid, disciplined and strong teamwork. plus, it is supported by players who are competent in their respective positions.

However, it seems that the club management is not satisfied with what their team has displayed throughout their matches this season. with Neymar absent due to a long injury, the club and coach seem to have made a unanimous decision to drop Neymar for this season. therefore, Renan Lodi seems to be their target. Regardless of whether there is mediation between Al Hilal, the players and Marseille, Renan Lodi seems to be the target player that the team needs for Al Hilal. also, considering that this Marseille player is capable of playing in several positions. but it seems, if this rumor is true and an agreement is reached, it seems that Renan Lodi will be positioned as a defender by the Al Hilal coach. in this way, it is hoped that this team will become stronger according to the coach and club management. Anyway, let's just talk about the next developments, especially since I haven't confirmed the validity of Al Hilal's plans with one of the players from Marseille.

How great and competitive the depth of the Al Nassr squad with Ronaldo is, so far they have not been able to overtake their rival team at the top of the Saudi Pro League standings. seven points adrift, it must be a challenge for Al Nassr to reduce the points gap from its rival team. which means that after this competition is held again, Al Nassr must maximize every match they play by winning. plus, overthrowing Al Hilal in the second meeting this season. however, if Al Hilal remains consistent throughout the match, it will be difficult for Al Nassr to reduce points and even overtake the ranking of its rival team. moreover, if Al Hilal is able to overthrow Al Nassr in the second meeting. thus, it is certain that the Saudi Pro League trophy belongs to the rival. Pm

However, don't worry too much for Ronaldo fans and maybe Al Nassr fans. after all, this competition still has a lot of matches left for each team to play until the end of the season. as I said at the beginning, Ronaldo and his colleagues must bring Al Nassr consistently in every match by winning..while waiting for Al Hilal to slip. if Al Hilal slips in their match, this will be a big problem for them. because, Al Nassr has the potential to reduce the difference in points and overthrow Al Hilal at Al Nassr's own headquarters in the final meeting.
By the way, Al Nassr will play matches against Inter Miami and Al Hilal in the Riyadh Season Cup title. well, this match will bring Ronaldo and Messi together again. apart from that, the match against Al Hilal can be a benchmark for Luiz Castro for his squad. to be honest, I'm not really sure if this match will be an exciting fight or not. what is certain is that Ronaldo and Messi will meet on the field to compete.
Al Nassr squad is real having great depth especially as they’ve been able to still maintain 2nd position after quite a number of matches. Yes and Al Hilal side must be commended too for staying 7 points a drift of Al Nassr.Consistency os what’s required from this Al Nassr team if they’ll want to overthrow Al Hilal and go top of the table. Al Hilal might falter at some points and if Al Nassr isn’t consistent then I think it’ll be doom for them because they might not have any other chance to surpass them.

Ronaldo and Messi reunion on the same pitch is one match that still sells quite well and we’ll all look up to it; I think Al Nassr can build on that match to strengthen the team and make the team more fierce though I know Al Nassr will have the better share of the match, cause they got a better squad than Inter Miami, despite the presence of Messi and Suarez. in the team.

Ronaldo's performances at Al Nassr are impressive and puzzling. Thats incredible for a 38-year-old to score 20 goals and assist 9 in 18 games. Its more than his Saudi league experience, I think. Ronaldo's top league stints show he adapts quickly. Although significant, his age feels like a number to him.

His competition level worries me, though. Is his skill or the league's quality helping him score? He's indeed a fantastic player, but context matters. Experience, team support, and league competition may explain his goal-scoring streak. I admire Ronaldo, but I think its necessary to have a balanced assessment of his career so far.
Since his professional career, Cristiano Ronaldo have played on five league from Portugal, Premier League, La Liga, Serie A then Saudi Pro League he has adapt well with all clubs plays and success winning domestic league with three clubs. Most important key from Cristiano Ronaldo is he can adapt well with culture, weather and atmosphere with all club have been joined since his professional career and consistency scoring many goals for every clubs joining.
Left one challenge with Cristiano Ronaldo will win domestic league tittle with Al Nassr for this season? its become second year for him but first season start well although he failed make Al Nassr winning domestic league tittle.

But this doesn't make him a super hero. He is a super hero because he was the best of the best in important leagues, but is he still a super hero when he scores goals in Saudi Arabia? I still acknowledge how good he is, but it is different when he scores in a top league or in a weak league. It is not the same.

As European clubs are packed with star players, scoring goals is the most difficult thing to do. But the clubs of Saudi Arabia are never compared with the European teams. Because if the Saudi players are left among the European players to score a goal then it will never be possible to score a goal. But Cristiano Ronaldo, as a European player, should be looked at differently as he is showing signs of age now but his running speed is still right. Cristiano Ronaldo has been insulted in many ways by European players which is why I think the Saudi League is a great honor for him.

I guess he still has a number of goals in his career that he is pursuing. He has to keep scoring if he wants to be nominated for the upcoming tournaments. The European Championship is guaranteed for him if he doesn't get any bad injury. But I would not be surprised if Ronaldo has the World Cup in the back of his head. He has these little goals like becoming the oldest top striker etc. Portugal has a respectable team and I believe he can still help the team. He is still good enough as you said and although his speed isn't quite the same, he is still dangerous enough and fast enough to score plenty of goals. He would probably feel a special push if he was up against some European top teams again (or Argentina at the World Cup).

Since earlier I have heard a lot of news about Benzema having problems with Ittihad but there doesn't seem to be any convincing confirmation and I think it's just a rumor, it wouldn't be possible if Ittihad would let Benzema go while even though he hasn't had success at Ittihad at least Benzema's reputation will be able to improve Ittihad's reputation. which is considered one of the good clubs since Benzema joined Ittihad, there are many benefits, it's just that Benzema doesn't seem to be very productive and for me this is not about a problem with the club but just not being able to build chemistry with other players.
This is only temporary information but we will have to wait and see whether this is true or false, but for me this is just a rumor because Benzema is a professional player who can maintain his reputation for a club that can pay him a big salary.

At the moment, Benzema is suspended from training with the team by the decision of head coach of Ittihad - this is official information. The reason (or occasion) was that he did not arrive with the team at the training base and apparently the head coach is not satisfied with such indiscipline (or lack of subordination), as we remember this happened even at PSG with Messi. Therefore, you should not exaggerate the significance of what is happening. On the other hand, according to rumors, Benzema will be loaned to PSG and then this decision is quite logical - why is he on the team if he still won’t help it in the championship?
It’s a confusing situation, but we’ll definitely know the details before the end of the winter transfer window - if the transfer to PSG takes place, then everything will be clear.
Thank you for providing information that is very easy for me to understand and after reading about the Benzema problem that you wrote about, I became curious and tried to find news from the media and it turned out to be true that Benzema behaved unprofessionally and did not attend the training.
This may be a logical punishment for Benzema because he is a star player who should be more professional and not take it lightly and be absent from training.
I was surprised that a lot of media linked Benzema with other clubs after problems like this occurred. Benzema was linked with PSG. I even read that MU also wanted Benzema but I hope he doesn't choose to be loaned to MU, but rather to PSG.
It's sad to hear this news but it a risk that Benzema must take so he can take this lesson to become a more professional player.

Im reading the latest news and i have found one that makes me interested to read it.

Quote
There are problems for Karim Benzema in Saudi Arabia.

The player, according to MARCA, has not shown up for Al-Ittihad's pre-season training camp and, by order of the coach, will not participate in the Dunao tour that the team will depart for on Sunday.
https://www.marca.com/en/football/2024/01/13/65a2ff0c268e3e92528b45a5.html

Is this a signal if benzema will be going back to the european league again? It seems that Benzema and Ittihad are experiencing a significant decline in their relationship. I meant he was losing his confidence to play in the saudi pro league. It will be wasting a lot of money and time for saudi pro league to recruit him in the club. There will be so many speculations about him to join in the eurpean club again. I think that the club has lost their respects to him caused by it's a common knowledge if benzema has bad relationship with ittihad.

It will be so bad for SPL to lose him as one who brought the popularity of SPL to go up. This will become another mistake being made by ittihad caused by that. It will be affecting

The Saudi Pro League is a new chapter in Cristiano Ronaldo's career, but it raises worries about his competition. Although amazing, scoring goals in the Saudi league is different from those top European leagues. Europe's teams and players are better, and Ronaldo's success there made him a global football sensation. He is extraordinary for his age in fitness and performance. This indicates that, although being older than in Europe, he still has the skills and drive to succeed. He boosts the Saudi league's football scene and shows his continued popularity as a player.

I did hear rumors about the possibility of Benzema leaving Al-Ittihad, but according to the news circulating, it was because of Benzema's less than harmonious relationship with his new coach, Marcelo Gallardo. Benzema is also reportedly often absent when training with Al-Ittihad and if this is true then it does not reflect well on him as one of the great players in the world.

I think as someone who has a lot of experience he should set a good example to his colleagues instead of avoiding them. Maybe on the other hand, Benzema is not very comfortable with this competition and if that is true then Al-Ittihad has made a mistake in making a big investment in one of the Ballon D'or winners.

Apart from that, I also discussed here that Al-Ittihad is hunting for other European players and Angel Correa (Atletico Madrid) who is predicted to be Benzema's replacement if it is true that Benzema will leave.
There are many complaints about Benzema in Al-Ittihad, he has been accused more than once of being lazy and not interacting well with the team, but 15+6 in 24 matches is a good result. You see, each player is different, Ronaldo and Mane have settled in very well, but Benzema doesn’t like this championship.

There are rumors that he may return to Europe, but so far the talk is only about Manchester United. Whether this is possible is not clear, but so far Benzema is not training with the team, he has a mini vacation, and what will happen next is not yet known.

Benzema has become the main causes from all the problems in al ittihad and it has become the main reason why benzema was trying to leave from there. It seems like that the club doesn't have a good environment that can convince him to stay.
I think that if benzela will leave from saudi pro league is going to hurt the reputation of the league. We have seen that many times benzema has tried to do his best, but it seems the club never tried to hear him or i may be wrong about this.
Benzema is good player but since the club can't give him good environment and he will be losing his confidence to stay much longer in the club. This is gonna be a setback for SPL if he will leave from saudi pro league.
This league got the hype caused by so many major players were coming to the club but i can't iamgine if benzema will be leaving from there. It's going to be another disaster for the club.

There are rumors that he may return to Europe, but so far the talk is only about Manchester United. Whether this is possible is not clear, but so far Benzema is not training with the team, he has a mini vacation, and what will happen next is not yet known.

We have the best thing from Cristiano Ronaldo is his ability to adjust which helps him for keeping things at the very high level, and he is one of the most watched sports star and his all things are going to favor his lifestyle and other fitness which is currently ideal for the new generation, and he is also doing his best for the staying in the best shape which is never been easy but still good in 22 years of his professional career we have no negativity from him which make hi one of the most loveable sportsperson and surely many achievements are waiting for him in coming years with he is at the age of 38 still doing good job and have fair enough chance for the staying into better.

Hopefully here in Saudi League he will be able to make his mark even currently they are not good as they wanted, but we can expect he could be better and surely at the top in coming season.

@doomloop when Ronaldo joined no one really knew how difficult the league would be and when he initially struggled everyone said that he was done but he didn’t give up and post that he’s never looked back. Furthermore from the time of his joining this league has got many high profile player’s which has increased the league’s difficulty level and hence we can no longer say that he’s scoring because this is an easy league.
As already mentioned, many times we have Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most favorite role models around the world with his fitness and life is also having great things to follow he is working on his fitness and other aspects of life which are bringing amazing changes even now he is 38+ but still he is impressive and doing much better from many stars which are at their prime.

If anyone want to live long with super fitness he needs to work on us because this is the best way for having healthy and good life with having a sports career needs more responsibility because now you are doing things for a generation which is following you and going to adopt your all positive and negative things.
