But even against Damac and Al-Shabab, whose positions were much lower, they were unable to defeat them. I think the Al-Ahli squad is on par with other strong teams such as Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad but that's not enough when facing a match they should be able to win.

This week Al-Ahli will face Al-Raed who are in the relegation zone and if they still get a draw in this match then they will be even further behind and also more vulnerable to being overtaken by other teams who are directly below them. In the playing time and goals scored by minutes played, they are close from each other. Sadio Mane and Milinkovic-Savic effects aren't that important comparing to the others.
To summarise, Cristiano Ronaldo is slightly better than Mitrovic for the moment but Mitrovic is advancing faster and could flip easily Cristiano Ronaldo advantage.
