Well, Sporting Lisbon will be the right place for him to end his career as a professional footballer. I also believe that Ronaldo will consider to return to Sporting Lisbon when his contract expires with Al Nassr.
Seeing how he loves his country, it is not impossible for us to see Ronaldo return to his childhood club, and interestingly Ronaldo will have a big chance to return to playing in the champions league if Sporting Lisbon can get a place to play in the tournament.

It would be interesting to see the greatest player of the Champions League again in this tournament and I would say that it is quite simple from the point of view that Portugal has 3 tickets to the Champions League and it should not be a big problem for Sporting to win one. But it seems to me that Ronaldo has other plans, he will play until the very end (without defining any year as his last) in Saudi Arabia and will end his career as soon as he is no longer able to play for the national team.
At his current age, I also think that Al Nasr will indeed be Ronaldo's last club in his football career. Because if he returns to his childhood club (Lisbon), Ronaldo will definitely be older than now and his performance will definitely decline too. Even if he returns to Lisbon, he has the opportunity to appear again in the Champions League, but in my opinion there is not yet a strong enough reason for that. Because in my opinion the possibility of Ronaldo returning to Lisbon is very unlikely. Apart from that, Ronaldo's contract with Al Nasr is still very long until 2025. Several news sites even say that Ronaldo wants to extend his contract with Al Nasr until 2027. So I don't know whether this information is true or not. However, what is certain is that Ronaldo still wants to play at Euro 2024 and the 2026 World Cup to defend his country, Portugal. So if you see that Ronaldo still wants to buy the Portuguese national team, it means that the main priority in Ronaldo's final career is clearly his country, Portugal. And perhaps club affairs will become less important to Ronaldo in the future. Because if you look at his satisfaction, Ronaldo is definitely quite satisfied with his career so far at several football clubs.

According to Cadena COPE, Ronaldo has told his club side in Saudi Arabia that he would like to sign a contract extension through to 2027. That deal would allow him to figure for his country at another World Cup finals that will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
https://www.goal.com/en/lists/revealed-cristiano-ronaldo-retirement-date-lionel-messi-rivalry-al-nassr-portugal-plans/blt65115e039e2ce75d#csc20d7057ef425bec
According to the latest news. Ronaldo has been asking al nassr to extend his contract till 2027 but there are many speculations are coming up said that if ronaldo is willing to retire after world cup 2026. that makes sense if he is still willing to end his career after 2026 world cup. It could become the last chance for him to participate in the world cup. I do really support his decision as long as it was good for him. I think that this rumor totally makes sense consider ronaldo is not even interesting to leave from al nassr.
it seems like that if he is still having ambition to play in the 2026 world cup before announcing his retirement in the 2027. That makes sense to see him take an action to make sure nassr will agree to extend his contract.
As far as i know if there are some speculations if al nassr may be preparaing farewell party for him.

Saudi Arabia is smart in taking advantage of existing opportunities and even though they failed to get Lionel Messi last summer, at least one of the GOATs and several other European star players are connected with the Saudi league. We know that with the influence of several names, these players can increase their exposure rapidly and what they have invested in will definitely work out according to what they want.

As you have said, with unlimited money, nothing is impossible in the world. It's just that I think in the future the standards for player prices will skyrocket if Saudi Arabia continues to give fantastic contracts to every player. I'm not sure whether this is good or not for football but of course this is a golden opportunity for star players who are close to retirement or even young stars like Mbappe to earn a lot of money. Yes, I admit that Saudi Arabia is very smart at seeing opportunities and on the other hand they have the money to make it happen.
I don't think Saudi Arabia will have an impact on increasing the prices of European players even though they currently dominate European players coming into their league. Moreover, the fees provided by the Saudi league are not too large, but the salaries they offer are many times greater than the normal salaries of players in Europe's top leagues. What determines the price of players being expensive is still the teams in Europe's top leagues and that is a fact that we know all along.

So, now every player will think about whether they would rather go to a big club with a big fee (of course here the previous club is the one who benefits from the sale) but the salary is not that big or they prefer to go to the Saudi league with a fee that is not too big (here his previous club didn't really benefit from his sale) but he gets a very large salary per season equivalent to 5 seasons in Europe's top league.

Stupid messi was not even choosing this quality league compared with garbage MLS. Does he scary to face ronaldo or what? It will be so good to have him join in al nassr's competitor. I think that messi was choosing the wrong choice by joining in MLS instead of saudi pro league.
Saudi pro league offers similar atmosphere like european competition at this moment. Im still hoping messi to change his mind someday. It will be so good to see messi vs ronaldo again like when those guys were playing for barcelona and messi.

Both players competed against each other for years in the Spanish La Liga. That's why I don't think Messi is running away from Ronaldo, but it would be best if they competed again in the same league. However, I agree with your view that MLS is a worse league than the SPL in terms of quality of competition. The teams in the SPL have made some great signings this season. If Messi had joined this league, he would have played in a better league and the quality of the SPL would have improved. Anyway, Messi and Ronaldo's rivalry is almost over. Now we should focus on the rivalries between younger players.
I'm a fan of Cristiano Ronaldo but I don't find it sensible to think that Lionel Messi rejected the offers from Saudi Arabian clubs and joined Major League Soccer side Inter Miami because he was avoiding to play in the same league with Cristiano Ronaldo nor was he running away from competitive football.
Lionel Messi has won everything in football and has the right to chose wherever he wants to play football and that shouldn't be attached to his rivalry with Cristiano Ronaldo. These two players has graced our screens for the past two decades and deserves to be respected in any decision they decides to take and not to be dragged.

Money is the thing that playing very important role in SPL. The oil money has let saudi pro league to recruit as many great players as possible. Saudi has a target to host world cup and that's the main reason why this country was trying to spend its unlimited money in the football. Become a host for the world cup will be also increasing the interest from public and investors to put their money on the saudi, this is already planned since a long time ago.
SPL would not be as big as now if there was no unlimited money who was supporting the league and many people are still questioning how long this league will exist with the help of money but i must say that if saudi arabia has so much money to keep this league to be even bigger.

Im waiting for more suprises to come from saudi pro league very soon. It's likely we will be seeing another big name to join in the saudi pro league.
The competition is quite competitive at this moment.

Attractive young talented players to join in the saudi pro league is far harder compared with aged players who are very close to retire. I think that we will see modric to come in SPL.
Moadric may leave from real madrid soon. SAudi pro league teams shall have anticipated modric's movement. It will be so good to see him join in SPL.
SPL will become bigger. I would like to see some legendary name to come but sadly hazard chooses to retire instead of joining in rela madrid.

Modric had offers from Saudi Arabia before but he preferred to stay in Real Madrid but in this Spanish team he could have too much chance because of his age and that's why Modric is not happy in Real Madrid.
There is a high chance for this palyer to leave Real Madrid soon even during this winter to get more chances and earn more money maybe in Saudi teams or in a team like Inter Miami.

The saudi arabian league will definitely improve the standard of their league to be better every season by building a bigger stadium and also bringing in several referees who have big names in football. I think that slowly, with many top european players joining the saudi arabian league, The saudi arabian league will certainly become more competitive every season.

They have a mission to host the world cup and remove human rights violations. With the current state of the source of wealth they are trying to expand out of the staple source of Oil. They are aware that Oil will begin to be scarce and run out. So they tried to build a football business. They are still controlling money to attract good European players. So it seems that the SPL process will be of the same quality as the European leagues.
Exactly right ! They make a lot of effort to build their various businesses. One of them is in the sports sector, the SPL will slowly but surely develop and yeah maybe have same a quality with Europa league in the future. By recruiting top Europa players as a start, they have succeeded in attracting audiences various people in the world, and I am sure that in the future they will produce a lot best players too.

Messi is a sissy, it start from Messi bribed FIFA to win 7 Ballon d'Or, win the world cup trophy and not want to compete against Ronaldo. So if you think Messi is a bad player, then you're correct, Messi is a representation of money can buy everything.

I just Inter Miami, their current position are in 14th from 15 teams lol.

Now back to Saudi Pro League, Al Nassr is slowly will become top 1, this is why Ronaldo is the best football player.

Saudi has quite lot of billionaires from the Arab royal family so it is natural that they have huge wealth and use it to have fun by investing in the Saudi team.
But this is good because Saudi football is starting to be developed by people with great power and this is the beginning of increasing the quality of Saudi football.

Even though many top European players have joined the Saudi team there are still some young players who reject offers from Saudi because they want to increase their name and popularity in European football but they are great with such players because they are more concerned with their career than chasing certain amount of money. bigger.
It just that I believe that some of the players who rejected the Saudi offer will definitely be hoping for another offer in the future because as has happened when players get older in European football they will also be marginalized.

Ambitious and always able to prove it is a character that Ronaldo has. But with his statements like Fabrizio said, it seems like his ambition level has decreased, I don't know why but I'm sure it's related to his age. Indeed, at his age, enjoying the latter part of his career is a must. I mean his contribution to a big club, not even just for his club Al Nassr but for the continuity of the League as well. Because it cannot be denied, the rise in popularity of the Arab League that we see now is indirectly inseparable from the role of Ronaldo who accepted Al Nassr's offer at first.
Considering these teams have begun introducing within European stars, the SPL is expected to grow into an exceptional and formidable League in many years to come. Some teams initially protested the move, but when the high price was mentioned, they were unable to turn down and were convinced to accept. Al Nassr has finally opened the golden path. By choosing to sign Cristiano Ronaldo as a free agent, they made a significant choice. The Knights of Najd prioritized his presence since they were starting to perform effectively and put forward an exceptional showing on the field. Cristiano Ronaldo was adored by Al Nassr supporters because he was important in raising the club's caliber and positioning them in the forefront of the SPL title race.

Talking about protests or rejection from some circles, I think it will always be there, especially we don't know what their internals are like, what we know about the SPL is the outline, we don't really highlight their federation or internal things. It's normal in football, because in my country also domestic football goes like that, there are always pros and cons that are not known to the general public especially between countries. One more thing, their popularity has only happened recently, unlike the top European league which has been a very popular league for years.

Now he is 38 years old, and that is an old age for a football player, many players decide to retire even with an age below Ronaldo, but not a few players are still playing even with an age above Ronaldo now. But at his age he is still very fit in my opinion, yes although there is a lot of decline, especially in terms of speed, but in finishing he is still very okay, especially if we talk about him mentally. I think he is a player who has a very good mentality, even in my opinion he is number 1 in terms of mentality.

I don't think wrong with Lionel Messi not choose Saudi Pro League and prefer for playing with Inter Miami in Major League Soccer or MLS, but have bad or disappointed decision because Lionel Messi will not play in competitive football more than three months later after Inter Miami failed qualify to playoff round. Actually its not moment for fighting or competition between Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo must playing in the same competition, both players still have opportunity with fighting each other on World Cup 2026 if not retired from national team.

Lionel Messi have show he has best achievement than Cristiano Ronaldo after winning FIFA World Cup 2022 trophy with Cristiano Ronaldo have poor performance with his national team.

SPL has gotten huge attention with the signing of many important players but they need to do more. The league should also attract young talented players. Many players will not go the Saudi Arabia because the standard of football is still low. The league needs to improve the pay of not just these superstars but also emerging players this will help to attract more young players.

Money is not the only tool that is used to control football, politics is a major tool. An example in the case of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich. He helped to build one of the most successful clubs in England but the UK government stylishly took the club from him using political means. I am afraid that the investment from the Arab world in Europe might not be safe.
The Saudi Arabian league takes time in the development of their league to attract many talented players to join their teams. The saudi arabian league has only been acting aggressively for two seasons in bringing in top European players, But they are already able to compete with top-ranked european teams in the hunt for the signature of top european players. I am sure that the saudi arabian league will slowly become an attraction for young european players to join them in the coming season.

The paradigm is already changing and it is so obvious to everyone and including the Europeans. Before now the Europeans uses the world best players to control football just like what they did with Ronaldo and Messi in Laliga for so many seasons. If Saudi Arabia has learnt how to buy important players despite their age, they are one step closer to thin down the competition line.

True, and at the end of the day, that is what Europe has been doing in the past. Basically using their money to attract great players into their leagues.

There is a small difference though, that is that the local talent in Europe is already at a great level, which is not true in the Middle East.

Maybe it will just take more money, but it is hard to imagine to basically buy an entire league worth of players. Even the US is trying to do something like that, and they are not even close.

But yeah, unlimited money does have its benefits, and maybe they can pull it off.

I think the Arab world is giving more attention to Footblall.

I am seeing a take over of Football interests from Europe as concerns are now heightened from the Saudis. More resources being pumped into the game and even offers rolling in to buy Manchester United with a whooping sum of money. This only tells me one thing, the game of soccer is about to change hands

It's funny seeing most Europeans complaining about the rise of players leaving top European Leagues for the Saudi Arabian League. They literally did the same thing years ago.
They attracted alll of African finest, Asians, North and South American finest footballers to build around.

They shouldn't take free will from players, allow this players to take them choice. They want to move outta Europe? They shouldn't be stopped. The take over of Manchester United so difficult. I doubt they're interested in the take over anymore. The glazers seems to be making it all difficult for them.

Al-Taawoun and Al-Ittihad both actually experienced the same increase. Especially Al-Taawoun who seems to be getting stronger this season. But Al-ittihad, which also has many European star players, will definitely be stronger than last season.
Agree that Al Taawoun is better this season than last season, but for Ittihad I don't think so because last season as a whole Ittihad only suffered two defeats in the league but this season, where the match will only enter the 10th week, they have already experienced one defeat and it looks like that too It will be possible to lose again when facing Al Nassr or another strong team so I predict that Ittihad will not be able to defend its championship title, and the European players they bought don't really influence them to be better this season.
