Not to belittle but today we have a big match between Al-Ittihad vs Al-Hilal where both teams are currently in the top 1 and top 3 the winner of this match will secure first place, even though Al-Ittihad is playing at home that doesn't mean they are favorites we can check it based on the odds offered by the betting market. Of course, it's not easy to predict who will win but I suspect there will be a lot of goals in this match because we call it a battle of stars.

I also monitor bets for both teams to score even though the odds are 1.47 but this is a safe bet imo or over 3 goals is also not bad odds 1.87 will Al-Hilal take over the standings?  let's just wait and see how this match ends and I will ignore the bet on 1x2.

I almost forgot there was a big game today and I really wanted to bet on this game. It seems that it will be very difficult for anyone to predict which team will win this match and as you said the betting options for both teams to score goals or over goals are the most reasonable bets. If we look at the difference in odds in normal times, it is very risky because the two teams are mutually favored to win and it is possible that the match could end in a draw. Even though statistically Al-Hilal is quite strong for Al-Ittihad, the big match at the start of this season still raises question marks. So I would prefer the option of betting both teams to score goals because it is unlikely that one of these teams will only focus on defending for 90 minutes. Roll Eyes

Regarding the game between Al Ittihad and Al Hilal which is an important game in Saudi Arabia, today until the last minutes the Al Hilal fans were waiting to see the news about Neymar if today he can play in the same or not, but according to some news from Al Hilal, it's confirmed that this palyer can't play in the match against Al Ittihad.

I really want to follow more this league but i allways feel like it miss something, i dont know what. Its like the same feeling with MLS, i feel both like a farmer league like someone said.
I would be rating SPL as a better league than MLS. There are so many strong clubs in SPL compared with MLS. We have also seen so many european stars were coming to the SPL.
It was pushing the quality from SPL itself rather than MLS which was only focusing on building old barcelona at this moment. I were watching this regularly and everything is still going very well.

I hope with all this new player this change, this season its gonna be really hard to win the tournament with so good teams, we have 4/5 teams very well armed.
The came of new players were giving very big impact to the club. Ronaldo was triggering so many players started to consider saudi pro league as their next movement.
Don't underestimate unpopular team in SPL. I saw that the big club like al nassr was losing against weak clubs. The money has been evolving this league to be one of best league in the world.

Even SPL will be broadcaster to the USA as well.

Players like Neymar and Benzema were signed by Saudi clubs exactly for matches like this one. But injury woes threaten to derail their plans. Neymar is yet to make his debut for Al Hilal, and Benzema is currently out of action as a result of hamstring injury. Benzema's injury was uncovered during the match against Al Wehda, where he was substituted just before the half time. He is 35 years old and no longer young. This may result in more recovery time before he is back in action. The match BTW, will start in around 12 hours from now.

It seems to me that these players are bought mainly as a brand. This is a far-reaching strategy. Ronaldo's signing has opened up a dam of other transfers, and the league's large concentration of cool brands will keep players and fans alike interested in it. If the Saudis do not stop in their plans, then in a couple of years it will be a very interesting League. Now we see only the first wave, but then we will see qualitative changes.
Saudi has been working through a good plan since the beginning. The positive side is that they got Ronaldo otherwise they wouldn't have been so popular with the beginning. They started with branding players but changed their strategy again when they were accused of only recruiting older. Because a league can never be run by only a few senior players. If they don't change their tactics then a league like China would have ended very quickly that are assumed by many. But overall, the way the Saudi clubs are progressing, they could be one of the better leagues in the future.
Ronaldo changed everything in the League, many European stakeholders are just jealous of the Saudi Arabia pro league, the league they predicted will fail has come to stay and see no comparison to the failed China league.

Ronaldo, is the player of the month of August and still the top scorer in the league with just three games.

He is without a doubt one of the best players there and last season which he got there he was absolutely the best as not many other world class players joined. However this season that has just started is starting with many more star players that have joined different teams in the Saudi League and this of course is increasing the level of this league a lot from where it was before but I think it is to early to think that Ronaldo will continue to be the top scorer, most likely he will be but in there is also Neymar and a couple of new comers which will as I said make the quality of this league even more enjoyable.

At this moment I think the Saudi Pro League is better than MLS and of course, basically here is a luxury and that it seems cannot happen in other leagues. Because after all, the star players who play here not only get expensive salaries, but there are also other bonuses given such as luxury cars, private jets, houses, etc. Therefore, the Saudi Pro League seems to be a luxury that is rarely found in other leagues out there, including Europe. But yes, even though the Saudi Pro League is all about luxury but still, football developments are still going to happen in Europe to improve the quality of every player too of course.

PIF Investing in the football industry by bringing in more European star players seems like a very smart move. Because yes, we ourselves can see how the popularity of the Arab League is now starting to increase very rapidly. And of course this will bring quite large profits for the Arab League and also for the PIF.

In the past, not many Europeans even watched Arab football. But now that CR7 has joined the Arab club (Al-nassr), I'm pretty sure that since then many Europeans have also watched Arab league football. And this season the clubs in the SPL competition brought in more European football stars. So that the popularity of SPL is getting higher. And no doubt next season it will be even more popular.

To be honest I don't believe these clubs are getting back their investment because the expenses are not commensurate with the income, apart from transfer fees they also have to pay players' salaries every week and we know that the average salary of European players in the Saudi Pro League is around 20 million per season so we can calculate that it will be difficult to get profits for the club. If so, it means that PIF has other plans that we don't know, what's the point of making the League famous but not getting anything.
Well, if we talk about club income, maybe that's true. But as you said the PIF may have other plans that will definitely benefit them in some way. Because I don't think they're crazy enough to waste a lot of money if they don't see promising profit potential in something we don't know about. And as we know, the Arabs are people who have been good at doing business and trading for a long time. So there must be a strong reason behind all the money they spent to bring in these European star players.

Or maybe it's just us here who don't understand how business in this field works. But PIF seems to have a lot of funds for this. So that the hunt for players will definitely continue in the next transfer market.
For news related to PIF, which has large funds and plans to continue to attract european players, it will definitely continue to do so because the aim is very clear, namely that it wants to improve Saudi arabian football so that it becomes part of the largest football sector that has high quality players in the club.
So, if we talk about large transfers this season or the next season that has been carried out by Saudi Arabian clubs, there is nothing wrong with speculating about the transfer of European players, even to get star players from Europe.
It just that some people disagree with the transfer of European players to Saudi Arabia on the grounds that they are worried that European football will lose its fans, even though that will never happen because even though many European players have moved to Saudi Arabia, European football will still be the biggest football. in the world and has always been known for its excellent player quality.

With five goals and two assists so far, Cristiano Ronaldo has been chosen as the best player in the Saudi league for August 2023 and we know that one of these GOATs will never run out of quality. Last week's last win was also an important point because Al-Nassr could climb to 6th place in the standings after previously being at the bottom of the standings.

Congratulations on this achievement but it was never in doubt that he was going to win this award for the month of August because he was in an incredible run starting from the Arab cup champions competition that he just won with Al Nassr. Ronaldo is aging like fine wine and he keeps getting better against all the odd as he always looked unfavorable as he has complained numerous times. Ronaldo has been the key reason behind all Al Nassr victory but special shout-out has to go to players like Sadio mane that has improve Ronaldo games since his arrival at the club. The position of Al Nassr at the table was just because the season just started. They would have eventually climb up to the position they belong as they finish last season second on the table.

Players like Neymar and Benzema were signed by Saudi clubs exactly for matches like this one. But injury woes threaten to derail their plans. Neymar is an injury players which is why I still don't understand why he passed the medical without a rejection but I guess his influence was more important than his injuries because Neymar is a superstar that'll fit the Saudis program that started with signing Ronaldo and plans on signing every top aged superstar currently still playing in Europe but as for Benzema, he's going to do similar wonders Ronaldo is doing at Al Nassr when he gets over his injuries. He's a quality player and has a Ballon D'or to back that with several champions league trophy. Al-Ittihad vs Al Hilal that'll be played today mightn't feature them but it's still going to be a good match to watch. They both haven't lost a game since the start of this season so we might likely see a draw between them but I still favour Al Hilal to win.

I believe the Arab football industry is currently developing very well. Ronaldo's arrival brought media and sponsorship traction in and provided a huge flow of money. The latest news due to the arrival of Ronaldo and several big European stars makes SPL have income that has increased by 650%. Even today there are 140 countries that broadcast Arab League broadcasts. This is in contrast to 2022, the Public Investment Fund (PIF) announced an investment loss of US$11 billion.
The Arab sports industry is changing. Ronaldo's presence boosted the SPL's image. With so many big-name acquisitions, league business connections have skyrocketed. When FOX Sports buys U.S. television rights, things improve. I can't imagine how many U.S. CR7 fans would watch SPL games. According to my observations, several corporations currently promote in the Saudi Pro League. The Public Investment Fund lost money in 2022, but reforms have bumps. I expect further progress and possibly some difficulties

Last week's last win was also an important point because Al-Nassr could climb to 6th place in the standings after previously being at the bottom of the standings.

Cristiano Ronaldo's role is becoming more important every week and if he is absent it will certainly be a loss for Al-Nassr. We also still often see him playing the full 90 minutes at the age of 38 and also often being the key to victory for the team. Once again, Cristiano Ronaldo is unstoppable and we are still waiting for his further achievements, especially being the top scorer of the saudi league for this season.

Cristiano Ronaldo as we know has a very high hardworking mentality, passion for the game, winning mentality, determination to  always win and to always want to be part of the scoreline for any game.
Wherever he goes his presence is a must to be felt. His 38 ans sti making the trends after all the criticisms from European leagues and rejections he has attracted the recent movement of players from all over the whole Europe to that league.
The good thing now is that he has better teammates unlike last season around him. He has the tendency to score more goals this season
If we follow the young Cristiano Ronaldo's journey from Manchester United to now old at Al-Nassr, it's no wonder what he always achieves. As someone who is very influential to the younger generation, Cristiano Ronaldo will continue to set an example on the field by always setting new records. It's true that when Europe started to reject him, but his influence is still very much felt even now that he has created a place where all European players can earn more money. I think Cristiano Ronaldo has asked the club to sign a European player apart from him and the result is that now he is much more adaptable to players who know what he wants. It is certain that he will score more goals this season because he is supported by quality players such as Mane, Otavio and Brozovic, even now he is the current top scorer in the Saudi league.

Al Tai vs Abha match today is expected to be an attacking full game between the two teams. Especially both the teams are strong enough and the winner of today's match, both teams will perform well on the field. Although there is a lot of difference in the points table between the two teams, Abha is at the 8th position in the points table with 6 points. On the other hand, Al Tai is at the 14th position in the points table with 3 points, so today's match will be a good game between the two teams. Although Al Tai has a higher chance of winning if he follows the betting avoidance across various casino platforms, it is difficult to say which team will win. However, as today's match will be a good attack between the two teams, it is not sure which team will win the match and collect the points in the points table.

Alnassr started the season not well, they tasted 2 consecutive defeats, but they can rise in the 3rd and 4th matches. This is common for all clubs, not just for Alnassr, after all, even though they are 2 matches behind or equivalent to 6 points they still have a great opportunity to catch up with that, especially they also still haven't met a club that is at the top of the standings and that could be one of their opportunities to reduce the distance of points when they meet later.
Entering week 5 and there are still many opportunities, and I'm not talking for alnassr alone but for all clubs that are competing.

Exactly we have to lock the match schedule between Al-Nassr vs Al-Ahli on September 23 as well as an opportunity for Al-Nassr to cut the point difference
It's just that I'm a little worried because Al-Nassr's match schedule is quite busy for example, on September 19 Al-Nassr must play in the Asian Champions League
then 4 days after that they will face Al-Ahli then the King Cup tournament is waiting for the next 3 days obviously it will drain the player's stamina.

If Ronaldo and Sadio Mane are always in the lineup, of course we don't need to worry but what if one of them gets injured, of course it would be a problem
The Coach must be able to arrange the schedule appropriately or managing the playing time of important players.

Of course they will still target some players as long as they still have the opportunity to do so.
The arrival of famous players makes the name of the league more elevated and there is also another thing that is obtained is that the competition is getting more competitive again. That's definitely one of the interesting things for us, especially for me to see what they (expensive players) can do in this SPL.
I'd like to see them be consistent with this, by which I mean that the movements of the Arab clubs are not just a few moments, but a long-term program that they are doing. I'm already thinking about the players who will be coming to the SPL in the coming season.  Grin
Of course, SPL clubs still have the opportunity to recruit players until 20 September. They can still do it when the European transfer market closes tomorrow, this is what Jurgen Klopp questioned some time ago. Sure enough, we are all curious about how players like Neymar, Fermino, Benzema and other former European players will perform until the end of the season.

Overall I think they can make a significant impact for the club, but so far Al Ittihad and Al Ahli are the two strongest clubs in the SPL this season. Al Nassr is still 6 points behind them and occupies 6th position in the standings.

At the age of 38 years, most of the football greats we know had already retired from playing professional football but Cristiano Ronaldo us still somewhere in the Middle East playing football with the hunger to score goals and win matches like that of a player in his early 20s.
Having scored 5 goals in three league appearances in the month of August, Cristiano Ronaldo rightly deserves his Saudi Pro League player of the month award. I believe that with his current form, he's gonna fire Al Nassr to the top of the league table in few league matches from now.
It's pretty remarkable that Cristiano, who is 38 years old, is outperforming everyone. He's already leading in both goals and assists in this season. He's scored 5 goals and provided 2 assists in just 3 league games. Throughout his time in the Saudi League, he's been exceptional, and this is actually the second time he's receiving this award. He managed to recover his form by scoring a hat trick against Al Fateh and also scoring twice against Al Shabab in the following league match. Hopefully, he can keep creating more records for himself.

Injuries should be expected consistently in a league that is attracting older players. Ronaldo, Messi and Ibrahimovic, Modric are exceptional players who experience limited injuries but players like Benzema and Neymar are injury-prone players. One of the advantages of the Saudi Professional League is that they play fewer games compared to the European leagues. These players will play fewer games and have more time to rest which will improve their health condition.

LOL... I don't think that he is that interested in either stocks or the Ballon d'Or. His main issue was that family members were opposed to staying in Saudi Arabia for extended periods.

https://www.goal.com/en-in/news/lionel-messi-wife-antonela-roccuzzo-hesitant-move-middle-east/bltfaf171e72e65c50c

His wife (Antonela Roccuzzo) made it clear that she is not open to relocating to middle-east. Messi had the option of leaving the family behind in Europe and moving to Saudi, but in the end he chose against it. Roccuzzo was concerned that their three young children may not get adequate care in Middle East.

Not everybody can cope in the Saudi society. America is freer than the Middle East and Messi and his family are used to European society. I just wonder how Neymar will be able to adjust to life in Saudi Arabia considering his clubbing and drinking lifestyle. Regarding the children, I think they can get the best European education in Saudi. Maybe she has other concerns about their upbringing. I also think that Messi moved to the US because they offered equal or something close to what Saudi offered financially.
