In fact, I just found out that Gerrard is in the Saudi Arabian League. It seems that the last I knew he was the coach of Aston Villa. I don't know if he went to Arabia because of Money? Or did he not get a new club?
I don’t know if Gerrard didn’t get a new club, but I think he went there because of the money that they will be paying him. The amount of money that the Saudi League is offering players and coaches is an amount that will be kind of difficult for everyone to reject. Maybe Gerrard didn’t get any club that would pay him a reasonable amount of money, and he saw Al Ettifaq's offer that they would be paying him a good amount of money, and he decided to accept it. I don’t blame any player or coach that goes to the Saudi League, everyone really needs money, and you will go for the offer that will pay you most.
Steven Gerrard fail to find any better club in Europe, so he moved here in this Saudi League for the revival of his career which is surely good move from him because here he can take good positive turn for his career even this all is not easy because completely different conditions and atmosphere but still a good job for him with good salary is also available the start of his job is good as his team able to won first two games and now have first lost in fourth round, but he is looking for the development of his team which can bring better results for the future.

Now it's not all about money quality is also improved with many quality young players are also moving which is bringing good development and if they keep things on this way most chances this league could be in better position and have better quality in coming years as well.

Indeed, this is clear evidence that Saudi Arabia is very serious about football and not only bringing in big players from Europe, even coaches who have big names in Europe will be recruited by the Arab League. The move by the Saudi Arabian League team to appoint Roberto Mancini as the new coach shows their commitment to the development of football in their country. Football does have a global appeal and can connect different cultures and countries. Saudi Arabia's decision to take a similar approach with leading countries on multiple continents can serve as inspiration for other countries. Hopefully this positive step like that taken by Saudi Arabia can be followed by other countries, so that football can become an even more powerful tool to unite and inspire future generations.
@Warkop remember the time when people were joking about Ronaldo’s move and now all are crazily following him and suddenly it’s really okay to leave and play in SPL. Furthermore I believe that it’s shared here but I’ll share it once more that clubs from SPL maybe eligible to participate in the Champions League soon and if that happens then European clubs will definitely lose their charm.
Even this is completely different topic to talk and surely going to have big impact on Champions League as well even this will be negative because with tactics like this surely they could be on backlash and things will be brought down many positive aspects of this prestigious league with it's all too early how things will be gone and can UEFA authorities allow this all or it's just personal view of SPL officials because most chances they will be not accepted any offer like this.

As we have few examples which are given in this article it's all completely different story but right now we have to wait for the last move from these both parties about this all.

Saudi League having good history but first time they are spending huge funds like they spend in last few months and with mutual understanding mostly feeling it's not for the UEFA they are going to be big for the World Cup hosting which is also not easy, but all is done good for the development of this game.

I think Gerrard needs to work more and dont talk and dont demand for players, yesterday game was really bad for him and his players, and he doesnt have a bad team.

You cant have only 34% of possesion. I know Al Hilal its a mega team now, but come on you have some good players. So like i said put to work.

Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad again bagged an additional 3 points after successfully beating their opponents last night and especially for Al-Ittihad even though they won but he lost the figure of Karim Benzema who was injured in the first half and still don't know when he will be able to strengthen Al -Ittihad later. Apart from that, Al-Ittihad now leads the top of the standings with 12 points and is only two points away from Al-Hilal, who has collected 10 points from 4 matches.

Elsewhere today there will also be an exciting match from one of the big teams in the Saudi league which is still quite down, namely Al-Nassr and they will face quite the opponent Al-Shahab. Even though in this match Al-Nassr is so favored because last week they managed to win with a big score, they cannot be careless in the slightest and after all, every match will always produce important points to take them to the top of the standings. Ronaldo and Mane are expected to be the key to winning again for Al-Nassr after last week they both scored a hat trick and brace. My prediction 2-0 is enough for Al-Nassr especially since this is a home game they have to win.
Benzema injury is very detrimental to Al Ittihad, because in the future Al Ittihad will meet the runner up in the Al Hilal standings. There has been no word yet on Benzema injury, and whether he will be able to return to action next week. Benzema has become a key figure this season in Al Ittihad attack line, contributing two assists and one goal. There is news that Neymar will make his debut with Al Hilal in the meeting against Al Ittihad, this will be interesting to watch.

For Al Nassr, I agree with your prediction, seeing their big win last week, it is very likely that Ronaldo and his friends will be able to secure full points again.

In the three matches they have played so far, actually Al Shabab also only got two draws and one defeat. With these results, it is certainly difficult for Al Shabab to be able to hold Al Nassr to a draw in this match because after all, Al Shabab will also be playing away. What's more, Al Nassr still has to quickly get up and improve his position in the Saudi Pro League standings and with a target like that, of course Al Nassr has the full target of winning. Because maybe, with the previous victory with 5-0 it will make Al Nassr performance more consistent to get a win in every match.

In the last match on July 29, the two teams only play drew without goals but Al Nassr did not play with the main squad, Talisca in as a substitute in the 46th minute while Ronaldo in the 62nd minute replaced Abdulfattah but still no goals. For this match we have to wait for the lineup and make sure Ronaldo & Talisca are in lineup if both players wait on the bench then I doubt Al Nassr will win, there is a possibility both teams will draw like in the last match. Less than 1 hour this match will start and the lineup usually appears 10-20 minutes before the match starts so let's wait.

Al Nassr vs Al Sabab This match will be played exceptionally well between the two teams. We know Al Nassr is a strong enough team in this match but if they don't perform well in the match then there is a possibility of a draw. We have seen Al Nassr lose two and win one of their three matches at the start of the new season. Accordingly, if Al Nassr's players cannot perform well in today's match, then it will be difficult to win today's match. But in today's match they are most likely to win Al Nassr has more supporters on various gambling platforms and according to betting odds, Al Nassr is likely to win.

It seems there is bad news for Al Ittihad and their fans because Karim Benzema one of the most important players in Al Ittihad is injured and his situation is still unknown for the next games. Today Al Ittihad won the game against Al Wahda but in the first half Benzema got injured and he had to leave the game.
Since the next game against Al Hilal can be a head game for Al Ittihad, that's important for them to have this player.
Even this is big news but still having not big impact on Al Ittihad because they already have few big names which can perform in absence of Karim Benzema with their next big game needs full strength for the better result as they have to face Al Hilal which beats them in ACCC few weeks back, but hopefully things will be much better for them.
Currently, we have four teams on same level with Karim Benzema was just for the purpose of intention from the fans instead of the having any playing impact because we all know Al Ittihad is defending champions of the Saudi League which they won without Karim Benzema.

Their defense is impressive as they concede no goal and score 12 goals and Karim Benzema contribution is only just one goal from these 12 goals their attack is capable of giving his best without this star player.

Gerrard could have wanted a new atmosphere, in addition to the large nominal salary he received. maybe he can also develop his coaching potential, starting from a team that is not very well known and becoming a team that is able to compete in the top flight of the Saudi Pro League. for sure, every coach has its own mission and ambitions. or maybe it could be, if Gerrard doesn't have many offers from clubs competing in the European League. then, an offer came from the club from this League. and in the end, he became coach of Al Ettifaq.

Gerrard, has brought his team in this competition to be ranked 5th. Al Ettifaq has played 4 matches, won 2 times, drew one, lost one time against Al Hilal. and now, Gerrard needs some newcomers to deepen his squad. it would be very reasonable, because if Gerrard wants to lead Al Ettifaq to finish in the top four of the Saudi Pro League or at least be able to compete with the top teams in this league, he definitely needs players that fit the needs of his team.
well, maybe because Al Ettifaq doesn't really have abundant financial resources like the four clubs that were acquired by PIF. there are not many choices, he is more targeting local players, yes as it is rumored that Gerrard wants to bring in Mohammed Alowais. moreover, now Al Hilal already has Bono as their main goalkeeper. most likely, if Al Ettifaq can bring in Alowais.

Stable090 You're not current with things happening in Football world, Gerrard signed for Al Ettifag over two months today and you are not aware. Funny guy,
I don’t really know. Maybe you can point out where I said I don’t know that Gerrard has been signed by Al Ettifag. If you notice the post, you will see that I quoted @Luzin, who said he doesn't know that Gerrard is now in Al Ettifag. I think next time it’s better to go through a post and understand what the person is saying before making further contributions.

Saudi Arabia pro league offer is better than Euro and they have a good conditions for players. Let me known that not all players in the Saudi Arabia pro league are here just for the funds , some players are tried of European football and they want to be part of a new era of the Saudi Arabia pro league development.
Which player do you think went to the Saudi League because they were tired of European football? We should be honest, some players might not leave because of money, but I can say a higher percentage of players that went to the Saudi League did so because of the amount they were going to be paid. Most of the players that went there are already getting old, but I can still say they went there because of the amount of money they offered them.

Saudi Arabian League is attracting big names from major European leagues with offers of huge salaries. Coach Steven Gerrard was sacked by Aston Villa in October last year. He received a few suggestions but turned them all down. However, Gerrard changed his mind and signed with the Al-Ettifaq club. If money attracted Gerrard, it doesn't matter, and the important thing is that Gerrard is still doing what he loves.

Steven Gerrard the coach of Al Ettifaq is trying to hire more players in this transfer window and this time they need a goalkeeper for their team, That's why Steven Gerrard asked the team to hire Mohammed Alowais from Al Hilal, since in Al Hilal they got other goalkeepers there is a high chance for Mohammed Alowais to leave this team and join a team where he can have more chance to play.

Always expect the best from these Saudi clubs. Saudi Pro League becoming more interesting by the day, everyone picks interest in the league because it's competitive. The new boss is trying everything he could to manage the team. Steven Gerrard was appointed by the board because they believe in him to do a great job for Al Ettifaq this new season. It's quite an impression on the team, they are really progressing to next phase in their game performance. The club will add more players to the squad this summer inother to enchance their performance.

In a few days, the Saudi league is going to be one of the best leagues in the world and everyone in the football world often has the same idea about this. It is really difficult to deny the way the Saudi league is showing players and coaches with the baskets of money. Many are already playing in Saudi clubs. Moreover, one after another, the world's best players are moving towards the Saudi league, along with the world-renowned coaches are also making their wish to go there.

In the meantime, we have learned that Roberto Mancini has announced that he will leave his job as Italy coach and go to Saudi Arabia. Although his decision seemed to be a rumor at first, the truth was no longer suppressed. In this way, if the players and coaches all rush to the Saudi League, why won't the Saudi League reached to the top?

I've heard that right after stepping down from the Italy job, Roberto Mancini has been appointed as the new coach of Saudi Arabia. It seems Saudi Arabia has a solid plan to improve its football. Football is a worldwide sport, not limited to Europe alone. Kudos to Saudi Arabia for this move. It would indeed be great if the other top 3 or 4 countries from each continent outside of Europe could take a similar approach.

I don't know, whether Mohammed Al-Owais is a decent player for Al Ettifaq. Because it seems, Mohammed Al-Owais also not a goalkeeper who gets much playing time at Al Hilal anyway. But indeed, if Mohammed Al-Owais is a decent goalkeeper to be Al Ettifaq main goalkeeper, then at least it could be the right choice for Mohammed Al-Owais to leave.  Due to the fact that Al Hilal also has a main goalkeeper and what's more, Al Hilal has also succeeded to brought in great goalkeeper like Bono who he got from Sevilla. Therefore, Mohammed Al-Owais would be better off leaving to get a better chance of playing at Al Ettifaq to become the main goalkeeper.

Of course, the transfer opportunity is still open, he can take advantage of the moment these few days to immediately buy new players including the goalkeeper. But today's game Gerrard lost and this is the first for 4 games. Al-Ettifaq lost 0-2 to Al Hilal.
