There is currently no way for the Saudi Professional League to make a profit of course their expenses are much greater only in that way they can attract the world's attention,
The amount of money being spent by Saudi league getting new players and coaches is pretty high, I don’t really know how they are going to make profit immediately, but I don’t think so, but in a long run, am sure they will be making good profit. Owners of all those clubs are really rich so am sure they will be able to manage those clubs before they start making profit. Saudi league is getting people’s attention already and that’s what they want, most people that don’t even know that their league exists before now knows about Saudi league, people are starting to talk about the quality players which they bought and the way they are spending money on players, but am sure Saudi league will see changes in their league very soon, attention will be shifted to their league.

Do you think they want to compete with popular leagues like the Premier League or Serie A? I think not, because there is no way to compete with them. One thing that makes me curious is, how long this League will last with top players because I don't think they're in the football business.
Everyone was curious when the see Saudi league spending money on player’s, I do think they are trying to compete with other leagues because I know is not possible, but they also just want to stay relevant and they want to be mentioned always, they want their league to be a little bit popular. We all know that Saudi those not really have interest in football before but am also surprise why they are trying to shift attention into football.

Saudi Professional League is moving in the right direction. During the last 2-3 months they have signed a number of quality players from various European leagues. There were a few let downs, like Messi moving to Inter Miami after rejecting the offer from Al Hilal, but in general they are moving in the right direction. And I can see that a lot of people are unhappy. Not just the management of the European clubs, but also many of the fans. I was going through the Daily Mail article regarding the move by Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. The comments section was full of hate filled posts by English football fans.
Of course, we may expect obstinate attitudes from English supporters, who are vehemently opposed to their players transferring to the Saudi team. It is obvious that Saudi Arabia is utilizing their resources to attract players here, not because these players want to participate, but because they are enticed by the huge payments on provide, which they are unwilling to turn down. Saudi Arabian league is growing more popular in the football world, and everything is moving at a breakneck pace. A lot has been accomplished by these clubs in a short period of time.

Let's see how it will be going on. I saw the latest update from him. Henderson already agreed in verbal agreement with ettifaq. His salary gonna be increase 5 times compared with his salary in liverpool. He has told klopp regarding his decision and klopp has been approving his hope to leave from the club and join in the ettifaq to play under steven gerrard. Just because he was captain of liverpool and it doesn't mean his movement to the ettifaq is inevitable.

I think that fabinho is gonna try to follow his movement to leave from liverpool and join in saudi club. Saudi's offer is very lucrative, and it's very hard to reject it. I will never pay Henderson 5 times more compared with his salary in liverpool.
Good luck to henderson in ettifaq. Saudi clubs are aiming more players from liverpool.

Jordan Henderson as an Englishman and also the club captain of a big club like Liverpool would definitely find it difficult to leave the English Premier League club and join a Saudi Arabian League despite the fact that his playing career is dwindling down
If he could ever consider moving to SPL, it'll definitely happen because of influence of current Al-Ettifaq's manager Stephen Gerrard. The transfer window isn't yet over so this might be one the surprise moves of the summer

No one knows how long they'll last, but at the rate they're going, if they can stay up, I'm confident they'll last a very long time with this. You might think they weren't in the football business before now, but I believe they know what they're after and are searching for any and all means to get there, which could be why they're so interested in European players and enticing some of them with big money. If they keep this up and sign more good European players, the league may be able to compete with the Premier League and other European domestic leagues.

The Saudi Arabian League deserves all the attention it's getting from world football audience and that's is because of the huge investment that was put in place to bring the finest footballers from Europe to the Middle East.
The organisers of the league surely knows that to retain the attention they're currently enjoying, they'll have to match their expenses with success and that they must surely do

I don’t think the Saudi league would always be a circus show. Admittedly, it’s not as competitive as the premier league and perhaps it may never be but that doesn’t mean it’s not competitive with no sports values. Yeah, big and popular players from other leagues probably move over there during the final moments of their careers or to earn some more money. The arrival of those big players would increase the fan base of those clubs and bring in more people willing to watch and talk about those games. We’re talking about them right now lol.
It will probably never be as competitive or as watched as the premier league and other top leagues, but they’re slowly building their fan base as well as their audience.
world football audiences are currently trying hard to adapt to the saudi arabia league because there are many big names who have moved there, as al nassr said when buying cristiano ronaldo, their main target is not the champion but the world spotlight, saudi arabia league since buying many of the world's top players, getting extraordinary attention from the fans, the Arab league audience skyrocketed quickly but the prestige of the leagues in Europe can never be matched, it has stuck in the ears of many people that clubs from leagues in Europe are far more attractive than on other continents.

I try to see from the other side that Steven Gerrard is very keen to recruit players, by recruiting his former teammate at Liverpool it will make it easier for Gerrard to convey his wishes through Henderson in other words Henderson is an extension of his tactics when Al Ettifaq is playing. Of course, with a wealth of experience at Liverpool, it will make a difference in the Al Ettifaq squad next season.

Reportedly an oral agreement has been made and it is true that he will be on a contract with a two-year period plus the option of one year. Gerrard has got what he wanted from Al Ettifaq by recruiting Jordan Henderson. The transfer market hasn't closed yet maybe there will be another surprise from the SPL.

Referring to the history of the Al Ettifaq club, this club has always created talent and young talents through the academy they have. maybe, that's why most of Al Ettifaq's players are dominated by local players. it's just that the core strikers they have are not local players. The appointment of Steven Gerrard as their new coach is expected to boost the team's performance plus improve the quality of the local players they have. however, it seems that Gerrard needs some newcomers who also play in Europe's top leagues. for now, Gerrard wants Henderson to join Al Ettifaq.

As you said, Henderson can be counted on by Gerrard to strengthen his team plus his experience. yes, i agree with what you said for Henderson.
Referring to reports submitted by Romano, Al Ettifaq pushed to sign Jordan Herderson, the coach wants him and the contract proposal is now huge, still waiting from the player. in other reports, a deal was described as "in progress" by a source close to the negotiations. Hendo will speak to Klopp today.
IMO, it is very likely that Al Ettifaq will bring Jordan Henderson to the Saudi Pro League.

Sergej Milinković-Savić has been at Al-Hilal headquarters to sign a contract for 3 years and with this he officially becomes Al-Hilal's player from next season. The fee was announced to be around 40 million euros from Lazio and there is still no information regarding the salary per season, what is certain is that the nominal is very large like Ruben Neves or Kalidou Koulibally.

Increasingly impatient to see the team fight in the saudi league with their star players starting next season and currently the saudi league team seems to never run out of funds to sign some star players. I think we will still be surprised with new recruits especially for Al-Hilal who are currently working hard to make that happen.
Al-Hilal has not stopped bringing in several European players to strengthen the team for next season and they still have several names that are still the priority to bring in this season. The arrival of Sergej Milinković-Savić will make Al-Hilal's strength even more dominant and they seem to be trying to build a squad of former European players next season. The Saudi Arabian league is full of business and they have overtaken MLM as one of the clubs that have frequently signed European players in previous seasons.

It seems they are in business to promote the Saudi Arabian League to the world. Having a lot of funds to bring in European players will make the Saudi Arabian League even more popular and club owners will definitely make a lot of money from this project they are running and it will be interesting to see how the League goes next season.

Some people has speculate David De Gea future that after 12 years playing with Manchester United finally he will look for new clubs and recently he got several offers from Turkish team Fenerbahce and the latest is from Al Nassr that this team will attempts to gets De Gea with 250.000 per week salary and Al Nassr hopes De Gea will considering this offers and during play with Manchester United De Gea has playing 545 matches and 190 cleansheet so this is fantastic records from him
If De Gea want money then moved to Al Nassr would be good option but indeed he hasn't respond it yet regarding this rumour but let's see what his decision is whether De Gea will reject Al Nassr or he will accept it and play in the Saudi Pro League
We know how De Gea has gone through his career with Manchester United, he has had a journey of ups and downs with Manchester United for the past 12 years, good achievements and popularity as a legendary goalkeeper at Manchester United.
The price offered by Al-Nassr is a decent price for a De Gea goalkeeper, who has the qualifications as a goalkeeper whose loyalty to his team is very high.
And I would say that when AL-Nassr does manage to sign De Gea, it will be great news for the AL-Nassr supporters which will make the Team even stronger in the ranks of the saudi league team.
I hope Luis Castro gets the final negotiations.

Honestly I hear about all the big names that goes here, but I do not know their teams for example. Like I know Ronaldo is Al-Nassr, we have heard about that all the time, but if you asked me where Benzema or Kante is, I wouldn't be able to tell you their teams, I can tell you they are in this league, but no idea about their team.

This shows that I am a casual fan and not a real fan I get that, and people who are super interested in these would know exactly which team they are on and what that team finished last year. I will probably get used to it a lot more with time when the games start by seeing them over and over again every week. I will certainly be betting on their games, so I will memorize, but not so far.

I'm also basically not a real fan but at least i still know the name of their team or club, like Ronaldo at Al Nassr, Benzema and Kante at Al Ittihad. In fact, Al Ittihad managed to win the title last season and thus, Al Ittihad is the reigning champion at this moment. Also, there are other title challengers like Al Hilal and to be honest, i remember these three teams because basically, i prefer clubs that can consistently enter the title race every season, and these three teams have fairly good performance in the Saudi Professional League.

(New News) Al-Fayha or Al-Feiha. Currently they has added a new player to their squad, a player from Europa and his named is Gojko Cimirot. As a player in a defensive midfield position, it will be expected that he can play very well to defend Al-Fayha, besides that he also has experience which can be said to be quite experienced. And maybe his ability will help Al Fayha, to fight against the top Europa players who are currently in this league.

Well this players cannot compare to what the big teams in the league are getting. Saudi is just getting top players only for top 4 teams and i think we will see only a battle between them for the title. Other teams arent gonna be even close to winning the matches even against these teams.

And it will be De Gea's reunion with Cristiano Ronaldo if he chooses Al Nassr.
and Al Nassr Al Nassr want to continue strengthening the squad by recruiting top European players, and they have just brought in Marcelo Brozovic from Inter Milan.
And if De Gea wants to continue his career he can join another top club to look for new challenges because I don't think he is too old, and if he is chasing money Al Nassr is the right choice.
Manchester United are reportedly starting to target a number of goalkeeper candidates to replace De Ge and one of the names Teh Hag is eyeing is Jordan Pickford.

I think that anyone was missing this. It's quite surprised me to see liverpool's captain potentially accepts saudi's offer. The goal has reported this. https://www.goal.com/en/news/live/liverpool-transfers-and-rumours-today/blte0cb9f2b78efa42a
Quote
According to The Athletic, Jordan Henderson is considering ending his 12-year Liverpool career and accepting a lucrative offer from Steven Gerrard’s new club in Saudi Arabia, Al-Ettifaq.
The Saudi Arabian club are making a concerted effort to sign the Liverpool skipper, who was initially hesitant to leave Anfield and relocate to the Middle East with his family. The 33-year-old, however, is now weighing up a two-year contract that would double his £200,000-a-week Liverpool salary and also includes the option of a third year.
I can accept if henderson gonna be leaving from liverpool caused by saudi's offer is very interesting to be taken. Henderson was seemingly very close to the ittihaq. He will be coached by gerrard if henderson will agree to join in saudi club.
It's very hard to deny such offer. As a player that was putting money as main orientation. Im thinking about he gonna try to make personal agreement with ettifaq as soon as possible.
Im waiting for good news that is gonna come from him. However, the chance for him to stay in liverpool is still bigger too. Henderson is not young anymore. He shall consider it as a good option for his career.
He plays football for money. It's time for him to chase it.

Not going to talk about the money he can earn from playing in the Saudi team but I think Jordan Henderson was a good player and he had good performances for years in Liverpool also he is an important player and captain in his team, maybe he could choose to stay in the Liverpool and get retired there he is playing for Liverpool since 2011 which is a long time. Maybe Gerrard is behind this contract between Jordan Henderson and Al Ettifaq.

I am not really familiar with how the taxes work for all these players who are going to Saudi Arabia, but it would be insane if the amounts we get to read in the news like 200 million here and 220 million per year there, if those amounts are not only the base salary, but that it is also net after tax. When somebody earns 50 million in the Premier League, I would guess that around 50 million are going to the tax authorities (just an estimate). But when these players earn in the hundreds of millions, that is probably net  after tax right?

Yes it's true and I agree with your statement SPL clubs build squad by recruiting former European Elite players to get various benefits including new fan base for them and generally to watch Saudi Pro League. I think everyone needs time to prove that football is not only the EPL, Serie A, La Liga and the Bundesliga which can be competitive and have lots of fans. There's nothing wrong with enjoying football in the Middle Eastern style and supported by foreign players from Europe.

I think it's very natural for every country to build its Domestic League considering the various benefits they will get. In the past, we saw Serie A as the first choice for every football player, but now it is the EPL that has it, followed by La Liga and the Bundesliga. With the presence of famous coaches and players in the SPL I think it will add to the attraction to watch them.

I was actually happy some time ago when I heard Messi would join the Arab League, because the competition from these 2 players (Messi and Ronaldo) might happen again. But unfortunately he prefers to go to Miami to continue his career there.

Messi knew he didn't want any competition again between home and Ronaldo and he also wanted to just enjoy football plus the deal that MLS brought to the table was too good of a deal to reject and accept SPL money. I am happy Messi went to Miami as him comings to SPL would had taken the attention from the actual progress of the league and focused on just Ronaldo vs Messi debates. At the moment other players will have the opportunity to shine. Jr made the best decision going to Miami.

Yes, we have heard what is the reason Lionel Messi prefers to go to Miami rather than to other clubs, one of which is to Arabia. And family is one of the reasons he talks about a lot that influenced his decision.
Apart from all that, the presence or absence of Messi the Arab League has also become the center of attention now, especially this season they brought in many players from Europe. No wonder when maybe in the coming season there will be many who want to get their broadcast rights more than they received this season. This will not only affect the Arab League, but Asian competitions will also receive attention.

At his age, which is still not too old for a goalkeeper, he will certainly get many offers to join the club. And it is evident from these 2 rumors that David de Gea is still an attraction for several clubs. Moreover, from what I can see, the reason why David de Gea was not retained was not because of his bad play, but most likely Erik Ten Hag has his own criteria from a goalkeeper.
If he goes to Al Nassr then it will be like a reunion with Cristiano Ronaldo.
