Anything about ronaldo would be increasing the traffic for the media. I would not be surprised that ronaldo got so many blames if he was not able to make the goals. I have seen some memes about him too. I see a video that shows that al nassr fans was stomping on ronaldo's jersey. Im not sure if that was real al nassr supporter or not but how dumb people who have expecting something big to come from ronaldo which was not young anymore.
Those who blame ronaldo must be so dumb. they think football is only about ronaldo making goal against its opponent.
With such a fantastic salary, Ronaldo must prove that he is still worthy. at least, he should "contribute" to his new club. but unfortunately, Ronaldo has not been able to give his skills, as the coach and All Nassr fans want "at his current age". Obviously, this caused a lot of reactions from fans and football lovers. even criticism came from within the team itself, the coach Rudi Garcia was not happy with All Nassr's defeat against Al Ittihad in the Saudi Super Cup. the presence of Ronaldo, did not have a big impact on the performance of the All Nassr team.
I think it's only natural that his fans expect something big from him. the reason is, in an interview session with Piers Morgan, Ronaldo said that he could still score a lot of goals. apart from all that, anything related to Ronaldo, still seems to be hot news for sports media journalists.
You know what, it's not just about Ronaldo's performance, the whole team has to step up and work together if they want to secure a win against Al Fateh today. After all, football is a team sport and no one player can win it all by themselves. Plus, we have to consider that the host team Al Fateh is not an easy one to beat, they're currently ranked 6th in the SPL.
I believe that the owner's intention of signing Ronaldo was more about bringing attention to Saudi Arabia's bid to host the next World Cup and not just solely relying on Ronaldo to carry the team. But still, we can't deny that everyone wants to see Ronaldo score and bring a victory to Al Nassr, that would be a great boost for the team and the fans. Let's see what the future holds and hope that everyone, including Ronaldo, can bring their A-game
