Al Nassr started this season by getting 2 bad results. They got defeated with big scores by Al Hilal in the final of Saudi Super Cup. They also got a draw result in the first match of Saudi league. It is strange if you assume Al Nassr begins the season well. In the match against Al Raed, they made many shots, they were not unlucky but they have lack of shot accuracy. It’s a disappointing start for Al Nassr because if they want to compete with Al Hilal they cannot start the season in this manner. Ronaldo has always been there scoring goals for them but the defender don’t balance it up for them, they keep conceding goals even to lesser opponents. They didn’t play bad the entire match they were just unlucky not to have scored a second goal, they kept on mounting pressure and couple of chances were missed and some hit the post.

The penalty conceded was as a result of poor defending that’s why it is important for them to improve their defense before the transfer window closes else it will be the same old story as last season where Al Hilal will end up being the best team once again.

Currently the Saudi League is still monitoring European star players but it seems they know that they are quite difficult to work with to play in the Saudi League so they do it slowly and recruit young European players from less well-known leagues.
