Al Qadsiah next season will play in the Saudi League after 3 seasons they struggled in the 1st division to return to the Saudi Pro League again but I'm not sure they can last longer because their abilities are not on par with big clubs, for me they are at a club that is not very being strong will actually have greater challenges and pressure because we are forced to perform as well as possible, whereas being in an elite club has great players in it so the pressure is not that great, at least Nacho has to think again about his decision to join the underdog club.
After clinching 26 titles and playing 364 matches for a top club like Real Madrid, there is nothing more to desire in European football. He has enjoyed a long year of top-class football and had so many good memories now it is time to play for fun and the money. He considered moving to the US but he was attracted by Al Qadsiah coach José Miguel González's involvement and the irresistible financial package. Coach Michel was a former Real Madrid player and Nacho wants to link back with him in the SPL. The financial benefit of about 10 million euros a year is what the Spanish player has never earned in his career where his highest pay was €8.6m per annum.
The Saudi Professional League has improved over the years and Nacho is a big plus to the league. They need players of his class to use their experience to mentor young players and their reputation will bring publicity to the league. Al Qadsiah might not be as popular as other top clubs in the SPL but with the experience of coach Michel and their drive to bring in some players from Europe, we might see a surprise from the newly promoted side.
