I've been pretty confused by the whole MJ/Spazzer Cross-Over on certain posts, payments and what not. I'll just continue to be confused and nod in agreement.

The short version is minerjones was an escrow of the raffle and lottery. Most of the other times minerjones is either holding items, crypto or both. Mantis Prime!

It's not much but maybe one day it will be!

.014 or about $100 is nothing to scoff at, IMO. More people think to themselves "I should donate" or "That's a good cause" than ever contribute $1. The fact that we actually came together as a community and made anything happen is more positive than you seem to be giving it credit for. Obviously it won't single handedly save the bees, but the positive impact is not insignificant. I'm happy to have played a small part in developing the contribution and voicing my vote.

Thanks for posting the TXID and address for verification that the funds ended up where they were intended to, MJ. It may not have been where my vote went, but as I said earlier in the voting, every single one of these causes/organizations is worthy of the donation or my vote. I was going to be satisfied with the outcome of this vote regardless.

I guess it has few more hours before this one end. With a double gap between Free Ross Ulbricht I guess it will go all out for saving the bees now. That sum of money might be low but somehow it is a big help than nothing. Let us all thank with Spazzers initiative for making this poll to donate for someone especially on the winning spot.

I'm going for save the bees.

I'm assuming it will be going to GreenPeace?: https://www.greenpeace.org/usa/sustainable-agriculture/save-the-bees/

There is something on the forums here called Save the Bees. Might be wrong. Paging minerjones!

Edit: https://deepecologyproject.com/ is the Save the Bees referenced.

Free Ross has secured my vote; Something very tangible/visceral about their situation and fate after doing what I believe to be a net-positive. I might not understand how effective donations would be towards his cause, but that doesn't mean I don't think it would help. Historical, relevant and unfortunate. We may not be able to save the bees, but we have a chance to see Ross again someday.

Would there be any potential to split the donation amongst a few different organizations or charities? I'm just curious if you have already considered this or if it is something to give a bit of thought to.

Everyone loves the bees and they are awesome, I admit I like to eat LOL.

I voted for the quilting guild because I love artisan craftsman and there isn't enough of them unfortunately.  I am still waiting to get one for myself.

One could argue Ross was the second most important person to getting bitcoin to where it is today. He  gave  bitcoin its first real life use case and exposed so many people to the freedom of controlling your own money.

Why did you have to make each option so appealing? I've been struggling to place one above the other or eliminate any of them for my vote. I do not know what to do, and I do not want to place my vote disingenuously. Since I participated in The Collective Raffle it only feels right that I throw my 2-cents into where the prize-pool ends up, but lacking new information that forces me to reconsider I will only be able to give my endorsement to wherever it lands.

Is Crypto Quilts a Non-Profit or charity? I didn't realize that you forward all proceeds to the Quilting guild, must've been awhile since I read that OP. Is the Quilting guild itself also a non-profit or charity?

Good on you for holding true to your word about donating the prize-pool. When the donation has been made will you post your confirmation(s), TXID or something else for verification?
