There are no official and fixed rules about it.
When I created the topic, I only intented to give myself and others a place to save their memorable merit-count records. It depends on users which figure are important for them. There are some beautiful figures of merit counts, and we do all agree: 100, 500, 1000, 1111, 2222, 3333, 4444, 5555, and some other same figures. For other figures, I don't say they are not beautiful and as I disclosed, the topic is not only for saving beautiful figures but also for saving your important and memorable figures during your time on the forum.
Some figures can be important for some users (because they have to fight so hard to get those counts) but can be very normal to the others (because they can easily get those merit counts).
Some figures are very special on some days. I don't know there are users who got their 2020 merits on 02 February of 2020 or not but if there are, it will be cool to see their snapshots here. 2020-merits snapshot is saved on 02 February 2020. Amazing.
Vod’s signature says that he is “into creating universes, smiting people, writing holy books and listening to Prayer Messages (PMs)”. Whereas I have my own cult; and on Lauda’s cult thread, it has been documented that I am Cthulhu. Now, Vod and I stand 1111 merits apart—111 earned merits, which is 1/6 of 666. Does the fate of the universe itself hang in the balance?

I have seen that DdmrDdmr have 3331 merits so why not make it to 3333 by sending two merits at least. After I send the merit then i quickly take a screenshot and upload it to imgur and post it here right away. I haven't check this thread for too long and I'll take a quick look there is a new 3333 merits recorded. Here it is:
