Honestly I don't even look at existing merit amounts when sending.
Now I am going to think about what would make nicer numbers.

Generally we don't care about merit status and give out what we think the post deserve and many miss the opportunity to have those magical merits to save them here for future reference or say many don't care to save them here.But ofcourse you can make some records while keeping this in mind. Honestly I don't even look at existing merit amounts when sending.

I keep a record of the qualities that Gmaxwell got. It is quite unique, I have also passed some merit records but when I reach 250 I will save and preserve it as my memory.
This is the main qualification of a good record keeping Avements Boy.

First, congratulations on your 7000 merit, Ratimov.I don't know how long it will take you to catch up to some of LoyceV's current merit "10,000 merit". But I think you can totally do it in the next 6 months if you can keep 1000 merit/month. Really impressive in my opinion. I haven't even experienced what it's like to get 1000 merit from the results of my contributions so far on the forum.
