What was the longest running HYIP?

as far as I know, the longest running HYIP was Hashocean and now it is gone. based on my experiences and avice from the people here, stop investing on HYIP, PONZI, DOUBLER and MINING. try to learn about trading. it will give you a good bitcoin Cheesy

Agree, trading is one of the best methods to grow your bitcoins. But make sure that before you go and trade, please do some good diligence and do your homework first otherwise, you will end up with nothing. Trading is a double-edged sword, it can do harm and good for you - just learn how to use it and you are good to go.

Just follow this principle: If it is too good to be true, it must not be true

What was the longest running HYIP?

why do you want to know that? the only thing that you should know about HYIPs is that they are scams and when they start you can never know "when" they are going to run, it can be right after you deposit or it can be a couple of days.

If i were you i will get rid investing on investment sites like the HYIPs out there because all of them are just have a ponzi scheme where end the you will just get scammed again. If you ask me i will invest in a site that didn't hide their identity like real personal informations, real address of company and also existing company.

I have been reading a lot of these comments and the best advise I feel the need to give is this:

IF IT SEEMS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE - - - IT IS!!!

If they are offering more than 2% per month on an investment return, then chances are that it will not be real or it will crash very quickly.

I recommend asking on this forum about specific sites such as exchanges to see if anyone has had any problems or concerns. It can help you avoid shady exchanges. Also, don't put all of your eggs in one basket.

Never join HYIP sites as they are all scam. They will just pay in the beggining to attract more investors and get the trust of many user. When they got a lot of investor they will turn into scam.

Ways of detecting scam sites:
1. no evidence of how profits are made (e.g images of data centres)
2. no evidence of the CEOs identity (this may be done intentionally so may be unknown)
3. check the trustworthiness of the company (some likeHashnest may be more trusted than ones like hashflare.io)
4. If you have suspicions of these contact support to get more information
5. If you have more suspicions and on't think it is legit, search the information on google to determine its validity and do NOT continue!
6. Fixed profits are also something to be avoided as no one can gaentee an income.

If its too good to believe it probably is. Dont use "payment proof" as a way to tell they fake these its happened to me. First my payment pended for almost 2 weeks then it said it succeeded but I received nothing and now my name with payment proof is now on the payment proof wall meanwhile it never even happened.

I am also a noob interested in finding out how to avoid scams, but by reading daily the forum I have come to the conclusion that all you need is to read some topics in the service discussion. If the HYIP or cloud web is being talked a lot here and most of the comments are negative for the website chances are it will turn to scam after some time.

No one can know give you any tips about a website if it is a scam or it may turn scam, because not every scammers make mistakes in making or his website that can be said to others as a tip to be safe from it.
Better to do some research before investing your money in a website to be safe from scammers, don't just get excited after looking at their investment planes.

If a company or coin gives promises that are too good to be true, it is probably a scam.
