Damn I really thought you reported an IDO that is already running and then was just labeled as a scam. But yeah, it is common that most IDO's nowadays has either fake websites, fake sale addresses, or fake giveaways. Nonetheless, the best way to put this out is to just report this onto the Telegram Channel of the copied/faked project. Why? The only users that would be notified that there are fakes is the project channels and users themselves. If you would report all fakes in this forum, you might have 3 pages full as there are already tons of projects that keeps popping out.
Of course I always report to the official telegram group that there is a fake IDO site that is duplicating their website so it is their action after which it will be reported and announced on the official channel.
I am posting on this is for wider and more know who knows useful for beginners who do not know what is therefore by making this thread I think it will be better to awaken a lot of people.

Good find. That's the reason why we should verify the contract address before investing in any project. It's quite easy to make a fool by a fake or phishing website especially spamming on Telegram. Those aren't familiar with contract address they would simply fall into these scam attempt. Because everyone on Telegram isn't a crypto expert. However, if someone use the search button or Google search, then this thread would help them to save their money.

Anyway since they aren't on the forum we can't take any action, hope at least forum users would save their assets from the scammer.
Investing online in general should be taken with a precaution, and yes that is the problem that I also see for awhile now, that people that are not from this forum or doesn't know about this forum tend to fall for this, the only way that I can think that will at the least help the growing problem in some way is to have the forum member post PSA about different scams outside the forum to inform people.

Someone finding a guy who can clone website. !!!(PAYING) NEED SOMEONE WHO CAN CLONE SITES Most of the case these are the man who are trying to cheat people this way.

Btw it’s old school scam ways. Previously scammers were cloning some exchanges sites, and now they are cloning token sales (ICO) sites. Since there is an hype in recent markets. And these guys are taking the advantages by cloning popular ICO sites. People always should check all details mainly the contract address before sending any fund.

After they cloned DoraFactory in a bogus sale, now there are scamers with a new project name, KickPad, with sales through their Polkastarter.
I hope I will pay more attention to this as the official KickPad has also notified con artists who are continuing to duplicate their projects.

Not only that, maybe in the future there will be more because there is not only one or more, so be careful, beginners are often misguided.

The old age clone website scam. Never gets old in its efficiency to scam people though. Scammers make fake accounts on telegram and post the clone website with a greed-inducing statement like 20% off on all purchases and so on to trap the people who are less savvy about these platforms.

Good thing this got posted but some people will fall for it and nothing can be done to help them. People should learn before using something and that crypto transactions are irreversible.

Hoping that someone out there might read these topic and understand that scammers exist in all forms.

In the wallet, I saw 3x ETH transactions, I didn't know whether it was a victim or intentionally sent by scamers, but what is clear is that all these tricks have been done with a project that has just emerged in the crypto world.

And we know they always have a way and know which projects will be booming so that's where it will duplicate the word giveaway and this is the same thing with the Elon Musk giveaway.
It should be noted that this all needs to be verified as much as possible so that beginners don't get stuck.

Now some projects have become so popular that scammers are using the names of those projects to scam the crypto community. They know very well which project will do the big thing, so they prepare in advance to create fake websites. Big projects they spend big budget money for their marketing, and that is why their projects are also discussed more. And by doing so, those fake websites go to the new investors without any hindrance, and they invest their hard earned money in that fake project.

DoraFactory is a big project that will run IDO with a whitelist that has been published before, it looks like this will be a big project because DoraFactory now backed a lot of other big companies.
That's why scamers are now shrewd looking for projects like this one to trap everyone who doesn't know.
They promote these fake sales on telegram channels.
