Cloudbet doesn't want to cooperate nor are they willing to provide any investigation and proof to me.

I filed complaint to Curaçao eGaming and hopefully they will push Cloudbet to send me my money back.

I will keep everyone updated.

Hi,

We sent you an email on March 4, and have again sent it twice today (from [email protected]). It includes the multiple account details, so it is not accurate to suggest that we aren't sharing any information. We have also sent it via DM today, if for whatever reason you are no longer able to access our support emails.

Stop making a fool out of me. I responded to you March 5th and latest response from you was this: https://ibb.co/41s3LZG

You offered me to keep playing on some other account which is not even my own. There are no other words to be said except that if those other accounts are not verified, delete them and ban them and blacklist them for all I care. I explained this to you, but you don't seem to care.

It has been 10 days since you last posted here, it is not good for them to stay silent for this length of time even though they said they would comment on this subject no further. This is almost petty conduct on their part.

As for you filing a complaint, that is good because you had no other choice but I still feel the best way forward would have been to resolve the issue between the two of you in PMs. Sadly them ignoring your requests to resolve this matter has made it get to this stage.

Not much else I can do except file a complaint and share my story to you guys. If they don't return me my money, you will know that same situation can easily happen to you.

When you do receive it, please reply to Cloudbet directly in the event you converse with them privately away from the forum on this matter. I am sure a way forward can be found between you two to find a resolution.

Hi Coach0909,

I didn't recieve any list yet on my e-mail.

I hope that we will find common ground between us and that situation will soon be resolved.

I'm waiting for the email. I'll keep it private with them if they are willing to talk, but no matter how it ends in the end I'll tell the community what has happened and how the case closed.

What does not help is that these types of blocking of account issue always seem to happen when the user tries to withdraw funds but as long as users are signing up and depositing crypto from the same IP address the companies are happy to accept the funding. As soon as the user wins and tried to withdraw then the reasons are piled up for seizing the funds.

Exactly. Especially, when I'm verified and have been regularly playing and depositing for more than 3 months.

I looked at their website, the footer area shows their licence issuers. You should complain to them so a case can be opened.

My suggestion does not mean Cloudbet or its owners are guilty of anything, but if they will not respond to you with specific reasons for seizing your funds they have to accept it when users go and complain to the licence issuers. If they do not want to post the information here they should tell you in a private email what the case against you is.

It is not looking for Cloudbet if they cannot even let you know in a private email what they have on you that makes them seize your funds.

Exactly. We can settle this as proffesionals, no need to open a post on a forum in order to make Cloudbet talk little bit more.

It shows thaf they ultimately hold all the power and don't have to explain themselves.

Without going in to this deeper trying to figure out who is right and who is wrong, it is clear that the explanation given in that final email is plain wrong. How can they not tell a user why he is being blocked and not allowed to withdraw his winnings because they never divulge specific details of investigations.

And now you know that they can block whoever they want and just say they don't want to go in any further details with you.

I am fairly certain Cloudbet would never scam a customer out of 0.08 BTC - that amount would have no meaning to them if their intention was to scam or selective scam. I hope they will write to you explaining exactly how many accounts they accuse you of having/operating and also list those identical bets with dates/times from those multi-accounts they stated about earlier. That would be the way forward.

I thought the same as you, but I don't believe it anymore and 0.08 BTC is a lot of money for me. They don't want me on their site, because I'm a rare winning player. They are 100% scammers until proven otherwise and this is what they wrote me today: https://ibb.co/CwqM51r

Basically, they want me to file a complaint about this issue to the website they control, which is ridiculous.

If my case doesn't get resolved, you will know what it's like if you win some money on Cloudbet and if Cloudbet falsely freezes your account. The only reason I even get this many information from them is because I posted this topic on Bitcointalk forum and the only way I think I can get my money back is if community stands behind me and asks Cloudbet for an update.

Just to clarify where exactly Cloudbet staight up lied to me:

  • They tell me how they informed me they locked my account when they never did this
  • They then accuse me of using BOTS and spiders to place bets
  • They then say, never mind, it wasn't bots, you had multiple accounts

I have proofs for first two how Cloudbet lied in the first post.

Keep in mind, for every claim they offered no proofs and only reason they explained themselves after first BOT accusation is because I raised this topic in Bitcointalk and because people in the community were curious to know what Cloudbet is doing. When they accused me of bots, they said how this is their final decision and that I broke their terms.

This is the last mail that I got from Cloudbet yesterday and it's the third time that they said that this is their final communication towards me: https://ibb.co/FHzbsJm

If the Cloudbet never returns my money, you, the community, will know that if you bet there, they can just lock your account, no matter how much you have on it and offer no explanation for it. The fact that my account is verified and that I was using it without any issues for 3 months and this happened to me, means that it can happen to anyone.

And put yourself in my situation. I did nothing wrong and they just take ~0.08 BTC=700$  away from me with no proof and no concrete explanation. In fact, they keep changing their reason about it on every post.

Sadly this situation is not good.

Cloudbet say he had multiple accounts and mentioned the link and how the user is in breach of Cloudbet terms and conditions.

Coach0909 denies multiple accounts and asks for proof which Cloudbet so have not given him.

What next?

Hi all,

Thanks for your interest and support in this issue.

I can confirm that the player had multiple accounts. This is in breach of our T&Cs. The link between accounts is without doubt, and also the additional accounts did not have activity from other IP addresses. Regardless, our T&Cs expressly prohibit more than one account per household or IP.

I can confirm that they placed bets on identical selections of identical events, in a deliberate attempt to circumvent our bet limits.

I can also confirm that the player has been able to withdraw more than they deposited.

As I said previously, we run an honest business and we're really trying our best. I hope this closes the matter. Thanks again for your support!

What you wrote here is not true.

Firstly, you need to send me in the e-mail which other accounts you suspect me I was using.

You're also lying about IP addresses. I asked in my household and noone was betting regularly except from me. So only occasional same IP is possible if my brother was in my house, but he was betting from his cellphone which should have unique IP almost everyother time.

Regarding the matching bets, send me the proof of 10 or more events where bets are matching and I'll shut my mouth up. I don't know with whoever you linked me to betted on, but I doubt that coincidence is that strong that the bets are matching for all the events.

If you don't show me proof, you're a scam website and you're not running honest business.

You know I'm in the right and that is why you are never writing to me anything in e-mail when clearly youre allowed to. You only write here and you are writing extremely vaguely.

First you accuse me of having bots and now its same IP with matching bets. I'm sure that if you show me proof and I start digging deeper that the reason will be totally different.

Do only what is right and give me my money back. I did nothing wrong and I can't be held accountable for something I can't control i.e. someone logging in from same wifi as me.

I've proven to you that I'm a real person, betting from a real household and with that said, my account should remain active. Whoever doesn't prove this to you, lock them up and freeze their funds until they don't prove it to you.

EDIT: Never in my life have I heard of this type of situation where a betting platform is unwilling to provide ANY proof.

If you want to steal my money then be direct, tell me that I should go fuck myself and that you won't give me anything.

But don't act like you're running an honest business and that you treat me fairly when I caught you in multiple attempts of lying and it just doesn't stop.

The only reason I got the initial deposit is because I was partially withdrawing my funds as I was playing prior to when my account got locked.

If account is on:
  • Different name,
  • Is created on different IP and device
  • Is continuously betting on different IP address
  • Is not living in a same house as me

it should be evident that it's a different customer and that it wasn't created by me. We're both also verified and Cloudbet should be able to check all of this. My only guess is that it's a possibility that he logged in on his account once while he was at my house on wifi. I'm not even sure if he actually did this as he's also not sure, I'm just connecting dots.

I don't want to argue with you since I sense very bad logical reasoning from your side. You are completely disregarding my arguments and siding with Cloudbet.

If you're both KYC verified then and the only reason your winnings are frozen is because another person connected to your WiFi then that's looks like a terrible decision from a customer point of view. The ToS quoted by Cloudbet says:

Quote
5.1.9.2. Only one account per customer/IP/household is allowed. If you attempt and/or successfully open more than one account, all of your accounts may be blocked, suspended or closed and any bitcoin credited to your account frozen.

But one of the points of KYC is is to avoid situations like yours. And if we're talking about two people instead of one person managing to create two accounts, I'd say you didn't even break the ToS. What if two  people logged in using the same public WiFi?

Or there's more at play here.

This is exclusively a mistake from Cloudbet. They should consider about their KYC processes. For example, you have a brother who also places bets like you, you live in the same house and of course you use the same broadband line to access to it. Isn't that stupid that in the case of REAL two users, both got they money confiscated because of it?
Better make KYC at the registration and if there are some suspicious activites, it is easier to check around what happened. Or I am wrong there?

Who knows.

I haven't had situation as Coach, but as he mentioned above, using bots/spiders like Google or some search engine is ridiculous, how it can affect in placing bets, they are used mainly to crawl data on the web. If somebody can prove me a real situation in using a bot on a site (which uses CLOUDFLARE), I'd really like to watch it around.

It is a Bitcoin casino/sportsbook, but this is a business where anonimity cannot be realized. Never ever. Had issues with many bookies after placing "fishy bets" == they don't like when you win, even in smaller amounts. 700 bucks is not a small money, someone works 2 months for it and you make unpleasant situations to players. Or change KYC or ... dunno.

I think you should withdraw your accusation since the reason this thread is only holding is because they have locked your account with the assumption that the .08 BTC is still in their website.

If I understood correctly, that 0.08btc is his profits, not his initial deposit.

He has already withdrawn his initial deposit. He wants his winnings too.

As far as I know there are many casinos that don't let their players to have multiple accounts. It is a common ToS rule. If we decide that cloudbet is doing it wrong here, we'll have to flag every other casino that locked its players for creating multiple accounts which doesn't sound right to me.

Yes 0.08 btc is my profit and I have not withdrawn that.

Secondly, I never made additional account, I only used one, which is my own. How did I break ToS rule, if my brother isn't even living in the same place as I am? Can you explain this to me?

Well if that is the case then I don't think you have the right to claim your earnings. I understand the fully Cloudbet's side here since you won that winnings while breaking the rule thus simply making yu ineligible of claiming that winnings. This wasn't even about you having another account since you already admitted that you are using a bot sofware to bet in Cloudbet which is one of their rules. I hope that you understand a little about obligations and contracts and why breaking them made your winnings voidable.

I think you got confused in the entire discussion. I never used any bot softwares to bet on Cloudbet. I said this more than 10 times already.

Care to explain which contract I actually broke?
