I can't deny, some icos project are scam and they targeted to newcomers who have low knowledge/experience in the crypto world.
In my opinion, even successful ico, they can be scammed you in the future, although with very little chance, anything can happen.

Yes so true! In my mew, there are lot's of shitcoins there that i got from scam icos and airdrops. But sometimes shitcoins or scam coins can make us a lot of money too! Funny thing is that even scam coins tries to list themselves in exchangers and their devs are the ones who dumps first then goodbye! When we receive coins better we try to research if it has actual product or project. And better be the first to

The fact is not some people but majority of ICO are scam and only few are real ICO. That is why it is better to buy ICO token after it is added in trading platform because many ICO tends to dump its value and didn't even reach the ICO after it is added in trading platform. Thats true my friend but not at all, the only thing to avoid that we always be vigilant to observe and research for such thing to participate like bounty campaign thats is our aces,but theres a lot of ico are successfull too it depends on thier flatforms and roadmaps.

very disappointing indeed, saw a lot of ico scam, there are so many people who are irresponsible and want to profit by ico scam, this da make me more careful in choosing which ico i will follow and invest
It is sad. I don't know how I could live with myself knowing I caused so much suffering to people. It is easy to pull off ICO scams so the allure is there and unfortunately there are people who either are born with no prosocial emotions or empathy or just didn't learn that others are just as sentient and concious and don't want to suffer as well - so they do. I just hope some of them change their mind and give back the money though that will likely only happen in cases where they become threatened. Hopefully more crackdowns will occur.
Every people is different and its not all people has emphaty to other that can lead them become not good people.Bad people everywhere so we must be ready to be aware with them. For me, in the world will be always bad and good. And its same with scammers.

Some? More than half of the ICOs currently being launched are nothing but scams. They are being created with the only intention of getting as much money as possible from the ICOs and than slowly cashing it out. The reason for this is mostly cause new users are putting their money on anything that is hyped to them by shills.

The situation is tiring but it's expected since the crypto world is presently unregulated and decentralised but with time I expect fake projects to fizzle out because the community is getting wiser by the day and to everyone, ensure you research well before investing in any project.
There is not 100% genuine work in any field and this formula apply in every working area. we can not say that all ico are scam or all ico are genuine. But some where, few ico come and collect the money and run out from the market.
